Irmgard’s Salon & Spa

I have been living in North Attleboro, MA which is about a 15 minute drive to this cute hair salon for roughly 8 months. The décor is country meets modern chic! The stylists are all very friendly. Based on Amy C’s review I decided to give this place a try because my hair was in dire need of a haircut. I am originally from Somerville, MA which is about a 45 minute drive from my new home. It’s also where I had been going for years to get all my hair care needs. I had been putting off my haircut because I have been dreading the long drive to it. Well yesterday I finally made the decision to go elsewhere and Irmgards was my pick. I left with my hair looking great and much healthier. Reilly was my hairdresser and I can’t wait to pay her another visit. The price was fairly reasonable too. It’s a full service salon and I’m so glad I gave it a shot. I saved gas mileage and money without compromising the quality of service I am used to.

I have been going to Irmgard’s my entire life! Several of the original crew still remain, and still do great work. hair care (the main business), massages, skin treatments, and mani/​pedis. The prices are all reasonable for the quality and service you will receive. I never wait more than 10 minutes for an appointment and always feel relaxed when I leave. The staff members, new and veteran, are skilled and friendly. The atmosphere of the salon, set in an old brick school house, is cozy and charming.
The only negative to this place is the parking lot, which is small and oddly configured, but it’s a small issue compared against all of the great things going on inside the doors. I would recommend this salon to anyone.

I started going here in April/​May for Shellac manicures and have been going pretty regularly every two or three weeks. I have gone a few other places for the same with Groupons/​Living Social vouchers now and again, but no place compares. The building is very pretty, and all of the staff is very friendly. I have never gotten any other salon services here but it is a full-​service salon, with everything from hair cuts and colors to massages available. A Shellac manicure is about $ 27 before tip, which is pretty much average, but I find it is the service and expertise I come back for again and again. I never feel like I am being rushed out like I have felt in other places. I try to schedule with the same person every time (her name is Jill) because I find her work to be top-​notch, and we have a really great rapport! No Shellac manicure I have gotten anywhere else last as long or looks as nice as the ones she does for me. Having said that though, all of the women who work in all areas of the salon are welcoming, friendly, and professional. Definitely comes highly recommended from me!
