The staff here is friendly and community minded as Cumberland is a small, suburban town that is slowly but surely gaining some ground commercially with a new restaurant opening in the Fall of 2013. However, this little gas station sits at the juncture of Winn Road and Route 9 (Main Street) and is a godsend if you are running on fumes during their business hours. Otherwise you may be pushing your car to Cumberland Shell. The usual beer, cigs, lottery tix are available but, surprise, you can also buy homemade food prepared by the Bangladeshi matriarch, although it’s not a sure thing. Excellent variety of wine and beer as well as hotdogs, coffee and pastry. Use your Irving rewards card but you have to go inside to update your points.
