I gotta say, I’ve never been introduced to a restaurant that is «known for pizza and Brussels sprouts.» First off, the service is amazing. Thank you Mia for putting up with our huge, and somewhat boisterous party. Your recommendations were also on point – much appreciated! Let’s start with the obvious dish under spotlight – Brussels sprouts. Never thought I’d ever see these little green lumps as more than a necessary evil, but they were delicious and sautéed into a really simple, savory dish. Pizzas were all delicious too. My memory is a bit blurry since I’m pretty sure we ordered everything on the menu, but extra points to the carbonara and the truffle pizzas. It’s really hard to make pizza stand out these days and they managed to do it without adding anything ridiculous. Overall super solid place for pizza and beers, 5 stars!

Great pizza here but hit or miss service. The first time I was here they really couldn’t care less if we got a seat or not(despite the fact I was in a party of four and we order a ton of food and drinks). I was just here yesterday and had excellent service and food. The pizzas are great here. Any of the them. I love the dough and crisp crust. I thought the pastas were just ok. I ordered the pappardelle bolognese. I think you can skip dessert as it was not noteworthy. However, the wines are great, especially the Tom Gore cab sauvignon.

Brussels sprouts were so addictive and the carbonara pizza was expectedly great! You must have them. We also ordered the fried chicken, which was underwhelming. Overall, great food and service. Will be back.

Great pizza with interesting and tasty combinations of toppings. Impressive selection of beers on tap. Cool atmosphere and attentive serving staff. The only thing that stained our time at this establishment was the cackling group of girls next to us. Oh well, should have asked to be seated elsewhere. The food and drink and experience at Wildcraft was one we would love to encounter again.

Been here for both dinner and brunch. I’ve tried many of their dishes sharing among the table, and they all have been consistently good! Their bottomless mimosa brunch deal from Gilt City is pretty sweet too. Would love to come back to try more dishes! :)

My review is actually 3.5 stars. A foodie friend and I dined here during the week and enjoyed it. We shared the following: — Roasted beets salad(3.5 — good but there were too many greens that looked like weeds, if you know what I mean) — Pasta with duck(3 — liked the pasta but I wasn’t in love with the duck, but that could be because I don’t eat a lot of it) — Burrata pizza with fried rosemary and pistachios(3.5 — actually liked this the best but still just giving it 3.5 stars as I don’t know that I could have eaten a whole pizza by myself) The ambiance is nice and the place was decently crowded for a midweek eve.

The service here is GREAT and the happy hour menu and times are great too. I had high hopes for the food here. It was just okay/fine. The thing I liked the most was the salad we got — kale. A tad too much dressing, as it all the leaves were heavily coated. The dressing was really good tho. We also got the meatballs. I’m used to meatballs with tomato sauce, this was done with mashed potatoes and a dark gravy. So, it tasted like salibury steak, but in meatball form. Again, good/fine, but nothing out of the ordinary or unique. The pizza was also just average. We got the CARNAGE which was all sorts of meat. The dough tasted like any other dough, yet I believe their USP is that it’s sourdough. The sauce, toppings, etc was nothing exciting, flavorful, or wowing. I’d rather eat at Blaze Pizza for $ 9. With tip, total bill for 2 came out to $ 53 ish. At these prices of $ 18 a pie, just go to Pizzeria Mozza.

Wildcraft teases you with just enough food to keep you wanting to go back for more! =) Coworkers and I came for our holiday lunch. Wildcraft has a fairly small interior with a good portion of the seating in the patio area. It was a nice day, so we decided to sit in the patio, but I imagine if it was cold it might not be as enjoyable. We came around 12pm on a weekday and by 1pm there was a good amount of people in the restaurant. Menu is fairly simple. Antipasti, vegetables, salads, pasta, pizza and sandwiches. In particular, they are known for the sourdough crust on the pizza. *Kale salad with tomatoes, pine nuts, ricotta salata and caper cider dressing — This was by far one of the most delicious salads I have had in a long time! The kale leaf wasn’t your regular kale leaf either. It must have been another type because it was really soft, like baby greens. Really good! Everything in that salad went very well together and while we split it amongst four people, the salad is very shareable amongst two. *Ricotta cavatelli with fontina, brussels sprouts and truffles — Amazing! Cavatelli pasta was pan fried so there was a slight crunch and texture to it that I love. It wasn’t too cheesy either but had just enough sauce to really make the pasta shine and meld with the sprouts and the truffle. My only issue with the plate was how small it was. It was barely just enough and I think I would have been hungry if I didn’t have the salad beforehand. *Blood orange lemonade — Good. Pretty fresh and not too sour. Service was good. Very attentive and the food came out quick! We were in and out of our lunch within an hour. Ughhh…the food here was so good, I just wish the portions were bigger for the price. Most dishes will run about $ 10 –15 and pizzas are $ 2– 3 more on top of that. I didn’t have to pay this time, but I would love to come back and try more. Love the food here!

Came here with a group of co-workers after a slightly long day(a mere 10 hours) and we were in need of whiskey and good food, both of which are readily available here. The only downside is the location being on a busy street, meaning there’s not much in the way of parking. I am not a picky man when it comes to my bourbon; just serve it to me on the rocks and I’m happy. To go with our drinks, we ordered up a dozen oysters and a carnage pizza, because why wouldn’t I order a pizza that sort of sounds like it came from a horror movie? Their website menu only lists a «carne» pizza, but I swear the menu I got said«carnage». Whatever. I ravaged that pie regardless. Oysters were awesome, too. Fresh horseradish? Sign me right the eff up. I could have sucked those things down all night.

This Italian joint is known for mainly their pizzas, but they also serve a bottomless mimosa brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, 11am to 3pm. Luckily, you can order the breakfasty foods off the brunch menu, or any of the salads, sandwiches, and pizza off the lunch menu too. I tried to call to say we were running late for our res, but no one answered the phone at 12pm on Saturday. There was also not host/hostess at the stand when we arrived. We started with the rosemary bread, which was decent, but nothing to write home about. i was expecting individual rolls like garlic rolls, but it looks a lot like texas toast you buy in the frozen foods section of the supermarket. Once the booze was flowing, i had a great time. but there was only one server for the whole outside patio, so getting our first mimosa took forever. also i came with a gilt city voucher which says valid towards the full brunch/lunch menu. but there was still an entrée item(the steak) that we were not allowed to order. that’s kind of misleading.

*Kitchen closes at 10 Came here for a late night bite with a couple of friends and everything was great! The pizza dough here was wonderfully chewy and crispy on the edges #mmmmcarbs But more than the pizza was their GARLICKNOTS holy crap, I could not stop eating them! We ordered all the pizzas and shared. They did not skip out on the truffle flavor for the truffle and mushroom pizza, all the ingredients were generously spread out and each pizza had a good variety of flavors in it. They have a great selection of beers on tap as well. Only complaint was that some of the edges were pretty burnt so I couldn’t eat the crust.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. If I could give 6 stars I would! –garlic knots AMAZING! Not too much garlic but so much flavor — Barratta Crostini Melt in your mouth goodness! — Pici — strange to have spaghetti in pork broth but so much flavor you couldn’t go wrong — truffle and mushroom pizza — incredible. Bursts of flavor; I don’t think anyone would complain about too much truffle. Here from NY but we know we will be talking about this meal for a while.

The pizza has grown on me. I’d venture to say it’s quite good. The garlic knots are good but not as good as the free ones you get at C&O. The beer selections are plentiful. Unfortunately, something is still a little off here. The appetizer came out at the same time as the meal and was lukewarm. There was a long wait for beer when the restaurant was half empty. And the meatballs, though tasty, came out cold. Prices are still rather high for what you get. $ 14 for plane cheese pizza is one of the highest prices in town.

This place almost won me over! I would have given them a 5 star, but am giving 3 stars and I will tell you why… We ordered two pizzas: Red pie — The bacon fontina, apple wood bacon, treviso, fontina, oven cured tomato pizza White pie — The carbonara, pork belly, bacon, pancetta, soft egg, mozzarella, provolone, black pepper Between the two, the first one(red pie) with the bacon fontina was clearly the winner. It was amazing and I highly recommend that you order that one. Now, the reason I rated it lower is because when I took the leftovers home(where I could actually see the food; the restaurant is really dark inside), the white pie had egg shell on it. The chef must have cracked the egg incorrectly. Thankfully the shell was not on the pieces we ate at the restaurant. I’m just surprised they didn’t catch that. I still give it 3 stars though because it was good and I’m sure the chef just made a mistake, obviously.

4.5 stars — solid«American» food even though it’s Italian. Came here for a birthday, very chill, not crowded at all which is weird for a Saturday night so that set off my sensor but I was delightfully surprised. A: Truffle Mushroom pizza — so I’ve been on this weird kick for mushrooms, sometimes I get this craving for sauteed mushroom with cheese(must be me subconsciously missing my sister) and this dish just hit it on the nail. Loaded with tons of mushroom bursting with flavors, I approve! A: Pappardelle — I believe they make their own pasta, you can definitely tell the difference between theirs and Barilla, sauce was tomatoey and sweet, I like. C: Grilled Octopus — too chewy! the potatoes were done nicely but not so much the octopus. I’ve been eating a lot of bad octopus lately :/ A: Brussels Sprouts — not like Cleo but pretty darn close. I recommend this dish! A: Mussels — usually restaurant mussels are too bland for me but the citrus sauce did the trick in this dish Overall, the dishes were well prepared, lots of flavor to each dish which agreed with my palate. I will most definitely be back :)

Yay to another good happy hour joint in downtown culver! It also runs 7 days a week! Winner winner chicken dinner! Probably adding this to the hh rotation! We basically ordered the entire happy hour food menu… Between 3 people but everything was so good! All of the food was under $ 10 and reasonably sized to share. The cocktails were pretty unique and tasty and run for $ 7 during happy hour. We tried: Pie of the day($ 10) — full size pizza Steamed mussels Brussel chips Garlic knots 3 oysters for $ 5 Lamb ribs– i didnt have any because im not the biggest fan of lamb but my dining mates liked it

**CARBONARAPIZZAANDCOCKTAILSFORLUNCH, PLEASE** I’ve been here more than 4 times and can’t stop returning. My favorite spot for al fresco dining, group gatherings, and Happy Hour. PARKING ======== Street or nearby lots. FOOD ======: MEATBALLS Delicious meatballs on a bed of beautifully flavored polenta. I could eat these as a meal. RATING: 5⁄5 BREAD Simple buttered bread with their wonderful jam. Carb heaven. Bites of fluffy and crispy textures. RATING: 5⁄5 CABONARAPIZZA *FAVORITE* This white pizza had pork belly, bacon, pancetta, soft egg, mozzarella, provolone, and black pepper and is one of my favorite pizzas in West LA. It’s all about the oozing egg yolks! Every bite was pure pizza bliss. The crust and the ingredients were top notch. RATING: 5⁄5 DESSERT ======== They ran out of their salted caramel gelato, so we’ve been ordering their mascarpone gelato which was creamy and superb in quality. RATING: 5⁄5 BEVERAGES ========== SWEETPEA **FAVORITE** Their sweet pea cocktail was minty and aromatic with sugar snap pea vodka, lemon, mint, and egg whites. This cocktail is probably one of the most creative and delicious cocktails on this side of town. You can taste the snap pea vodka. It is completely different and yet so über cool. RATING: 5⁄5 WILDMULE Their version of the«Moscow Mule» is indeed crisp and refreshing with cucumber infused vodka, barenjager, and lime. They forgot to describe this drink as «STRONG» because you will be buzzing after consuming HALF of this. My co-worker had 2 of these(yes, during lunch, don’t judge) and was slurring hard. RATING: 5⁄5 SERVICE ======== Our server, Mia, has always taken care of us with beaming smiles and a great attitude. Love her. xo RATING: 5⁄5 OVERALL ======== Yes, it’s been awhile since I’ve rated a place so high. But definitely worth it. .. if you know how to order. HIGHLYRECOMMEND.

Disappointed! I came in last Thursday with a friend from out of town for their Happy Hour and was severely disappointed with their food. We ordered the Lamb ribs which sounded good and since I’m a lamb fan I was pretty excited. When the ribs came out, it was full of fat with basically no meat!!!(See picture). So basically it was seasoned fat with bone… i felt weird bringing it up to my waiter(it’s not like a hair is in ur food, its just not good) so i let it be. We had an order of the garlic knots and the oysters which were actually pretty good. The garlic knots had a good amount of garlic and the bread was soft and buttery. $ 6 for a small amount but ehhh not bad… the oysters were 3 for $ 5 and were pretty meaty. Pretty good so no complains there. They featured a pie of the day for $ 10 but it happened to be with white sauce so i declined and they declined me substitutions which was a bummer. I had the Kingsman ale on draft for happy hour and they have a solid tap so no complains there either. Overall, the food was good except the lamb ribs which severely put down this rating. We actually went over to Sake House after because we were still hungry/thirsty and were hesitant to order more to run of the risk of the lamb debacle. Will likely not be back.
