Beautiful local art gallery with a humanitarian twist. Fabulous and unique jewelry that’s reasonably priced. Great place to peruse or find special gifts for friends and family. The owner is really nice and helpful. Don’t forget to check out the pet paintings & portraits in the back!

We stumbled across this gallery while walking around Main Street in Culver City. I was so pleased to learn 25% of all sales is going towards the Peace Project. They are building homes for those who lost their homes in the Philippines. Here is a link:
With that in mind, I really wanted to find something to buy. My friend was with me and my birthday is coming up, so when I tried on this beautiful labradorite ring, my friend wanted to buy it for me! I contemplated it for long time, but ended up choosing it! My friend purchased a beautiful chalcendony sterling silver necklace, a pewter key chain as gifts for others. The owner and her staff were so nice, kind, and patient. I really liked the energy of this gallery/store. They need signage so one knows about it. I am so glad we stumbled across this gem of a store.

I had some time to kill while waiting for a friend for dinner the other night. Stopped into this place and was very impressed. Loved the layout of their store, as well as the quality of work displayed. Perfect for browsing, or if you are looking for a new piece to fill your walls.

The Whole 9 is a lovely addition to the neighborhood. They carry beautiful locally crafted jewelry; my man bought me a gorgeous gold crochet necklace by Aimee Rivka that I will cherish forever. :) Definitely stop in if you’re passing by.

Heidi and Lisa recently let me host an event in their beautiful gallery space. I felt so fortunate to be able to invite others into this artistic and clean space. I sincerely recommend visiting the gallery and/or participating in one of the fund raisers that these two women work so hard to make happen. Oh, and I bought a piece of artwork by artist Mark Bruner(hope I spelled that correctly) for my boyfriend and it is hanging on the wall in front of me right now. I love it! :) I highly recommend The Whole 9 Gallery. P. S. I would give it five stars because they deserve it but I know Unilocal will filter the review if I do ;)

They’ve got a new address as of December 2011: The Whole 9 Gallery 3830 Main Street Culver City, CA9023 (between Culver and Venice) Fantastic gallery. Outstanding, reasonably priced original artwork by local and international artists. Also some very interesting small crafts and artisanal jewelry. Very friendly and community oriented. Plenty of free parking in the large Culver City parking garage(less than a block away). I highly recommend you check this place out!

Great little art gallery. Was there for an opening and it was not too crowded, not too loud and everybody was in «happy camper mode». The owner is really nice as well as the staff, checking on guests every now and then. Only bummer: a mystery guest spilled some red wine on the back of my shirt without apologizing or even tell me. Not cool. Won’t wear white around red wine anymore !

It’s a business office! No! It’s an art gallery! No! It’s a social networking website! No! It’s a party venue! No! It’s a dessert topping. OK, unless they got some Reddi Whip in the fridge it is not a dessert topping. But it is all of the above. I first learned about it as a social networking MySpace site for the Creative community but it is a lot more. It’s also a small art gallery with some nice paintings and artwork and some IMac’s so you can look at digital artwork as well. They do some wine tasting parties as well and are thinking of other types of parties for 2008 and beyond. Anything and anybody willing to help support LA’s creative community gets a major thumbs up in my book and the Whole 9 is no different. Maybe they should now get their pieces in the Culver City Whole Foods?

I love wine mixers! Super cute art gallery nestled in the perfect location in Culver City. I am a huge fan of photography and art and was well pleased with the concept and design of this gallery. I came here with a super cool chica for a night of wine, art, and networking with our kindred spirits. I met some fabulous people and learned more about the vision of the Whole 9 Gallery and website. The website is an online community where artists can mingle and meet and create connections, if romantic or platonic. My kind of place. The staff was friendly, foodie types that I could talk to all night.

What a great space! I was here last night for a neat little wine mixer and art show they had and it was just a really great experience. The space isn’t extremely huge, but the space they do have is laid out in a very cool way that gives you these great little nooks to move in and out of and chitty chat with other art lovers. I go to a lot gallery shows and often they are just too stuffy and the flow is all wrong and it just takes away from the art and makes me wanna run for the hills. I didn’t feel like that at all here last night. In fact, I am definitely looking forward to checking out the next shin dig here. Oh and as an extra bonus, the whole 9 is located in an area with a lot of residential parking with no permits! yay! love that :)
