They gave us bad meat. But shit happens. Literally. Came here for the hype. Left thinking we should have eaten anywhere but here. Do yourself a favor and Head down the block to in-n-out.

We used Pinches Tacos to cater our wedding in April 2016. We were very happy with their service. We have eaten at Pinches several times and love the food. For our wedding, we had two of their employees come and prepare a taco bar on site. They grilled fresh meat and tortillas, which were excellent. They were on time, professional, served the food hot at the requested time, and were competitively priced. Our guests really enjoyed the food. Tip — order more guacamole, it goes fast! Highly recommend Pinches for all your taco needs!

The FLAUTAS! These are basically the only reason why I’d stop by a Pinches Tacos location. I’ve tried a few other options and they’re not as flavorful. With the exception of the shrimp tostada($ 9.00 for ONE tostada), which my friend had and enjoyed.

The tacos were decent, but very pricey for the size. They offer a combo, which I believe is three of the teeny, tiny tacos with beans and rice. But I didn’t care to have all that, so I just got three a la carte, two chicken and one fish(came to around $ 10). The tacos were so tiny, when I got home and looked in the bag, I thought they forgot one! No chips or salsa either. However, there were other items on the menu that looked rather appealing with a better price range. So at some point I’ll be back to try something else, and hopefully add another star to my rating. Overall, I really loved the décor. I’m a big fan of the whole Dia de Los Muertos theme. That combined with all the pinkness makes it a pretty cool place to check out, very festive. The servers were pretty nice too. 095⁄100

My daughter and I get Pinches delivered pretty much a couple times a month. She loves the Al Pastor and Pollo a la Parrilla and I am a carnitas fan. We both love the refried beans and my daughter is cool with their rice. It’s all food I could make myself but I tend to cook 6 nights a week so taking a night off once a week and filling it with Pinches is totally satisfying for us. Their salsas are good as well. I’ve also enjoyed a burrito and we’ve tried the enchiladas. It’s a no go on those, though. The chili/enchilada sauce is too sweet for our liking.

this review is strictly for the«to go» option/prices. tacos were good. i got the fish and shrimp tacos with slaw-was a big fan of their coating and slaw! good tortillas too. also ordered the tortilla soup(without chicken)-very very good(love the avocado and sour cream melted in the soup) but they need to get better to-go containers-the soup leaked! good food but could have been a better to-go experience

I really like this place. The prices and the portions are on point. Only bummer is that it gets busy and there isnt a lot of seating.

Man this place was really good when it opened, you’d walk in and smell and see the Angus beef being grilled. Now you walk in and it’s kinda off, employees are hanging out chatting and when they make your food, it’s like 2nd nature, no love or passion goes into the food… Had the Asada burrito, not as good as it used to be before at all. Is the beef still Angus beef? And I hate to ask for salsa, but if you don’t ask for it, they give you some watered down pico de gallo. Had the pastor taco too, I will not be having that one again. They got 5 locations now, sometimes when you grow certain things get sacrificed. I’m sorry but today I felt like I missed the campos, that was in that location in the past. I’m not saying campos was really good, I’m just saying that pinches tacos is supposed to be a lot better, I know because I went there a lot when they opened… the owners were there and the place had energy. I don’t need the owners there, because I’m sure they are busy, but I do need it to be good and for it to deliver flavor… I used to come 7 – 9 times a month, now it’s 3 times a year… please make me come back…

I have passed by this place for Years to and from work and never stopped Until Wednesday evening for dinner. Ample Parking, Great Décor and an nice variety of eats. I payed under $ 8 for a drink and a Tasty Chiken Mole taco. My friend had the cactus and said it was Delish. I will come back. Oh. Closing time was at 9 and They Mean It! Lights were being turned off and as Soon as we stepped outside the door was locked and All lights Off.

Good has gone down hill over the past year but their service is way off. I got three consecutive orders wrong or messed up. The last I called to complain and was asked to call back to speak to a manage. They did not offer to have him call me. I tried 5 times. Finally the«books keeper,» took my call and offered to repair the meal on my next visit. Went in and the girl at the register just laughed at me and said«I’m not gonna give you free food,» it’s not free I explained and she continued laughing in my face.

Located in an interesting part of Culver City(the Arts District), Pinches Tacos is that drastically bright pink building on Washington Blvd. you really can’t miss it. If you’re color blind you actually might miss it, so I apologize in advance. The prices are a tad high. which is a realization that I’ve dealt with in regards to restaurants like Pinches since moving West of DTLA years back. If you see me checking into a few bars Saturday night, expect me here Sunday morning with a breakfast burrito. Say ‘Hi’! I’ll be the pale-ish green-ish looking dude with a beanie and sun glasses on. Poke me with a stick or place a mirror underneath my nostrils to see if I’m still alive. The breakfast burrito’s base price is a staggering $ 8.40. Eggs, pico de gallo, potatoes and cheese. I’m tossing it out there, it may not even come with cheese and you might have to add it on for extra $$$. And… there’s NOMEAT! Huuuh? I was shocked the first time I rolled through reading this off their menu. They do allow you to ‘add-on’. and I’ll usually add bacon and guacamole to the mix. which totals a little over $ 12+. Aye dios mio. The burrito itself hefty in size. And I’d hope it’d be for that price. it requires two hands for grip along with a fork and knife for spill overs. I can easily eat half for breakfast and half for lunch. but it goes down in one sitting for fulfillment purposes. It’s definitely packed with flavor and there’s no denying it. Especially with their ‘homemade’ guac. guac in the morning will make your day brighter, trust me. Same can be said with bacon, but everyone knows that already. I haven’t eaten anything else here, however, you do have the ability to see the cooks as well as the burners, ovens and everything in between that open kitchen. all looks fresh and prepped accordingly. Everything that I’ve seen served I would inhale without question. Oh, and the service here is pleasing both dining-in and at the cashier while ordering. All in all, if the prices were a tad lower and breakfast meat was inclusive with the breakfast burrito they’d get a notch up in ratings.

Decided to check this place out for lunch, and I’m not disappointed. The sopes are really well served and flavorful. Looking forward to try the rest of the menu.

Pinches has a nice 3 taco plate with chips and beans for around $ 10. Food is pretty good, the place is quite casual and nice to grab something quick at. ENJOY!

Lovely Mexican joint who uses fresh meats and seafood, garden vegetables and hand made tortillas & artisan breads. Apparently, their father Miguel handpicks those ingredients every morning. Nice! For breakfast, i enjoy the Breakfast Burrito: Eggs, pico de gallo(can have that on the side) and potato $ 7.50, Potato Sautee $ 3.75, and a cup of coffee $ 2.00 For lunch, i enjoy the Vegetariano Burrito: Sauteed Vegetables with beans, Mexican rice, guacamole, onions, cilantro and salsa $ 8.25 Or a Pinches Pollo Tortas $ 8.95 and if I’m feeling extra lovely, the Roasted Tortilla soup with chicken: includes sour cream, guacamole and tortilla strips $ 5.95 with Horchata $ 3.00 are always winners.

First time here and I was greeted like a usual. The girl at the front was very awesome! Greets with such great attitude and the place looks and feels very clean. The prices for Mexican food is something I’m not normally used paying for but it looks, tastes and smells delicious so it’s worth it for me! PLUS, the tortillas are hand made so there you go! I definitely recommend coming here and enjoy some really bomb food unless you’re wasted then go to your nearest food truck. Everything tastes good when your drunk lol

Let’s just come out and say it– way way better than most multiple location Mexican restaurants. I had the tortilla soup– very original — tomato based, vegetarian(you add pollo if you want) and it includes a freakin mountain of Guac under the soup in the middle of it-I still taste it. The place is pretty cool looking– I have been to Oaxaca and it really has that look and also dia de muerta theme– with cool photos etc. the staff is responsive and nice– and a huge plus for that area– it has its own lot! A great place …

I was pretty skeptical about this place at first. I came here for lunch and opted for the carnitas burrito because this girl is not paying almost $ 3 for one street taco. The food came out fast, which was great. The burritos come with fresh chips and salsa, which were very tasty. The carnitas could have been a little better, but overall the flavors in the burrito were there. Notably, I like how their burritos contain guacamole. I’d definitely come back and try one of the tortas.

I’ve been a regular patron of the culver city Pinches location for a few years now. Over the years, I’ve experienced some ups and some downs but I can vouch for the following consistencies: the Chilaquiles are hands down my favorite. I’ve been on the hunt for the best Chilaquiles in LA and I have yet to find a restaurant that can beat Pinches. The menu states they’re a weekend breakfast item but I’ve been able to get my hands on them a few evenings, depending on the cook. They always come out PERFECT. Crispy tortillas, layered with the perfect amount of eggs, onions and cheese. Spooned with some sour cream and guacamole is one of the best trips to flavor town I’ve ever had. Addtional hits include: the chicken flautas, fish, carne asada and roasted chicken tacos, breakfast and regular burritos. Although the last time I ordered the shrimp tacos, they did not taste fresh. Not your cheapy hole in the wall Mexican food joint, but I feel like they’ve stepped up their game and don’t skimp out on fillings so you’re getting what you pay for. They also have added a lot of new items to the menu. Next order of business on my list are the Pinche fries. The parking lot is on the smaller side but I’ve never had a problem finding a spot. Staff is always pleasant. And for that +yummy Mexican food: they get 3.5 stars and a satisfied customer that will keep coming back for more.

Unos pinches tacos para llevar porfavor! Greatness! Just the way i like it. Pinches Tacos has some of the tastiest al pastor ive ever tried. I go there for their tacos, burritos, tortas and last found discovery Flautas de papa con queso machego(not sure if thats the correct spelling) but anyway… MUSTTRYYYY! Service is fast and cashiers are always Kewl! The only downside is parking. I always have to squeeze into a compact spot. Good thing that i always do take out, or how else would i fit back into my car after stuffing face :/Anywhooo! I love me some Pinches Tacos… Thank you for coming to a city near me :) p. s. And they carry Fiji Water… SCORE!
