Their canoe pizza was really good! Gyro was not bad either. But the canoe pizza was so good I even killed all the crust.

The food is good, but the waiting time is unreal! I’ve been here few times and everytime waited over 20 minutes for my food. The worst was when I made a pickup order they told me to be there in 20 minutes, which I did, but had to wait another 25(!) minutes till the food was ready. Other than that the food is good and the prices are fair, but don’t come here if you short on time

This place is just terrific. Gyros used to be my favorite sandwiches but so many places that serve them, serve it dry. But this sandwich is fantastic. I haven’t had gyros in 20 years and I’ve eaten at this place, eating the same sandwich, about 4 times in the last 6 weeks. Always the gyro sandwich Pizza. Now it sounds really strange. And I gotta tell you I don’t think it tastes anything like a pizza. However it is delicious. Please remember to ask for the red spicy sauce, also there’s a garlic sauce, and there’s tahini.

Good food, large portions and inexpensive. Defintiely worth the trip. I got the greek style pizza and I was a little skeptical at first, but everything was done to perfection. The pizza is enough to feed two people and only costs around $ 12-$ 13. I would recommend this for lunch or dinner, the resturaunt is really nice so you can eat there or take it to go. They have a decent sized menu if pizza isn’t your thing, but overall, it was awesome.

It is good here! They have traditional and non-traditional pizzas. We got the original cheese pizza so we could try that and it was good! We also got the Mega Special Chicken Pizza and the Sausage Canoe and I definitely recommend both. I like that there are more things on the menu that I would like to try as well.

Really like the twist they put on pizza. At the new Mega PIzza & Grille, they have Halal flavors and it just works really well with their soft pita-like dough. I ordered the Copehagen pizza(chicken) and it was good. Mega special(gyro) was also really delicious. Their pizzas are 12″ and 8 slices per pizza. The garlic flavor really stands out and it makes for a gourmet style pizza that really tastes fresh and light even though they put a lot of meat and sauce on it. The aforementioned dough is really soft and crisp on the edges which is a really nice texture. I called in for take-out and it took around 20 minutes for them to prepare both pizzas. I brought the pizzas to a party and they were a huge hit. Will have to return to try the rest of their menu but I’m digging this new style of pizza. 30 minute parking spaces in front of the restaurant.

I had to change my review after 3 months. I’d come here at least 3 or 4 times either lunch or dinner in a week. In the beginning I was really happy with food and the way serve the food. In only 2 months they have changed their serving style a few times. Food would come with fresh greens but now it comes with something else that makes you feel full instead giving you appetite. Yes the burgers and pizza still good but this much change is not good.

I rated this place 4 stars because the owners are Turkish and I really want to see some Turkish food in this area. I was disappointed, however, to see that they took sucuk off their menu’s on the canoe boats(which is suppose to be their version of Turkish pide). I also tried the meat canoe and it tasted a little sweet to me. Not sure if there is a bit of sweetness added to the ground meat, but it doesn’t work. Or perhaps its something else that is on the canoe that mixes, that causes that mild taste of sweetness. Anyways, other than that, the doner pizza was good. Would really love to come back here. Can you please add the sucuk back and put some more Turkish pide options on your menu?

Three words! Gyro Pizza Sandwich! First time consumer and ordered it online. The online order in their website was relatively simple to use. After 15 – 25 minute, went to the store to pick up my order. Be advise, parking is hard to find. Enough of the logistics, let me tell you about the food! Straight up, this is a beast of a sandwich. The pizza dough is well toasted. Gyro is cooked to perfection. However, the MEGAHOTSAUCE ain’t so hot. It has a kick but not as hot as the name suggest. I rate it a 5 since I never had a sandwich like this before. It’s like a calzone but it’s not. Would definitely come back and try the canoe. Looks bomb!

Saw the reviews and thought I would give it a try. Put in an order via Unilocal but there was some difficulties with the website in regards to using the credit card. Plus when I got there, I had to wait an additional 20 – 25 minutes to get my food, looks like there was only one cook on a Sunday night. F: Mega chicken Pizza — It’s basically a wrap that was spread over pizza, worse is the heavy grease on the bottom soaking into the dough, terrible B: Chicken pizza Sandwich — bread was think and the hot sauce made it taste really good\ B-: Sausage Canoe — was ok, it looked really good but tasted very mediocre. It was disappointing since I expect it to be really good with all that reviews. I may come back for the chicken pizza, maybe.

Update: this place is dangerous. The hot cheeseburger is on par with an in n out cheeseburger, but halal and spicy. I kind of regret ever coming here because I’m probably just going to get really fat now.

Quite enjoyed this place. Went around 7:15 on a Tuesday night — there were enough people there but I was able to walk right up to the counter and order. The inside is cute and spacious and there are even a few tables outside. We got a Copenhagen chicken pizza. Each pizza has 8 slices and is just about the right size for two people to share. It was good — the crust was of medium thickness, there were nice soft chicken pieces on it, average sauciness. Probably would have enjoyed it more if it had more of a kick to it. Definitely will be back to try the piZza sandwiches.

Wow. Just wow. Pleasantly surprised by this place. I came with high expectations because of the Unilocal reviews, but low expectations because of the tacky/ordinary name. We walked in and took a few minutes to decide what we wanted from the rather large menu on the wall. It had a pretty broad variety of dishes — from specialty pizzas to kabobs. The guys at the counter were so friendly, helpful, and patient that I mistakenly thought they were the owners. I ordered the gyro wrap, and it hit the spot. The bread tasted like it was just made, the gyro was perfectly seasoned, and the sauce and veggies were fresh and delicious as well. For a check-in we got a free baklava. I chose the pistachio one, and it was so good that I went back and bought another one. The inside of the restaurant is big and bright. We sat at the tables outside because the weather was so nice that day. Overall, this is one of the few places I can comfortably say that I could eat here pretty much daily. Fresh, inexpensive, delicious, and filling. Great spot for lunch!

This place is phenomenal! I had taken a staff member to lunch here, and he opted for a cheeseburger, while I tried the gyro pizza sandwich. To say the least, I won. My associate loved his burger, and kept saying how fresh the meat tasted and how much he appreciated the freshness to the toppings(salads, pickles, etc.) I got this amazing plate delivered and I didn’t know where to start! Great meat! So fresh, so tasty, and ridiculously generous in size — I ate less than half and had the rest for dinner! The fresh veggies, delicious sauce — it should be a little thicker though because it tends to be super runny! — and the tasty pita it’s encased in make this a complete meal. I decided to add fries and a drink to my meal, but I really could have done without. It was that good! I ordered the gyro pizza for my husband, to go, and he ate THEENTIREPIZZA by himself! Needless to say, he really enjoyed it!

I was able to check out this new spot a couple days ago. The guys at the registers were very friendly and sweet(and Brazilian, just sayin…) We tried the pesto pizza which was good. The dough was very soft but the pizza was not as flavorful as I had hoped for. I think I need to try something on their menu other than pizza. Oh and the Baklava here is unbelievable. They get it from a bakery in SD. Make sure you try the pistachio one! So until next time, 3 stars for now.

Pros/Cons: –This place definitely does not disappoint. They’re unique pizzas(ex. gyro pizza) introduces you to something fun and new but also gives you something you’re comfortable with. –The food is very very VERY good and the staff is very friendly. –Portions are very good. A 12 inch pizza goes for about $ 12. If you are not a big eater, that could probably feed 2 people. –The only bad thing was the wait for the pizza. Generally, it took longer for the food to come out because they have to bake the pizza, so it’s not a good idea if you need something quick. Recommendations: The waiter recommended the gyro pizza. Generally, I am not a fan of pizza or gyros, but this was very very good! I highly recommend it!

Pretty good and very fulfilling. It’s near work and sometimes if I just want a quick 30 minute lunch break instead of an hour long, this is in an ideal location where I don’t have to walk to the end of the street on venice to get to that shopping plaza filled with food. Also located next to a really good acai place which is good dessert/healthy option to go with if still hungry but I promise that won’t be the case. Walking up to the register, I always ask what these new businesses recommend and he hooked me up with a gyro pizza sandiwch. affordable, tasty, and a huge portion– I was satisfied. I had my free refills of cucumber water from the corner of the store and since I checked in on Unilocal,I also got a pistachio baklava and the dessert was A+! I would come back to try their pizza and burger, read really good things about them.
