Blah… There were a couple of employees who semi greeted me as I walked in and then went back to their own conversation, which I really don’t care but don’t do a greeting just to say you did it because it just makes it look worse

I came in here looking for a black corset but ended up falling in love with a red one. Charlie was super helpful and helped me try on another one but that didn’t work out. She took her time and was super friendly and sweet. Thank you Charlie, I will definitely look for you next time!

I Love This Store… Really Cute Lingerie, Very Tasteful and Well Priced

I needed an emergency chemise for a burlesque number at a recital. I ordered this online:
There are no bra cup sizing available (i.e. 34D, 34DD, etc.), hence you can get them S, M, L (I ordered M just to be safe). When I finally received the chemise… the «M» cup size measured about 2″ from top to bottom. This means I would have to wear a second bra to have the full coverage that I needed. It was exactly what I was afraid would happen.
When I went into their store to return this item, I was shocked to find out that they do not allow returns on items bought online. I’m scratching my head thinking… who does that these days!!! To make matters worse, they’re telling me that they don’t carry this particular chemise at their store and they couldn’t even make an exchange. Wow.
So I did end up getting a refund when I returned the item through mail. But this whole process was a disaster. Not only did I not get an item that I expected but I wasn’t able to return this in store. Unless you know exactly what you want and not intend on returning anything… just order online as they have more up to date items. I would not be shopping at this particular Fredericks store… as they seem pretty limited with their selection and not so customer focused.

$ 15.50 my butt! I do not particularly care for this store because of the snotty manager there. Even though I did not get her name I know that she works on Fridays during the day time and that she is auburn haired. She was trying to play me for a fool and give me a $ 15.50 store credit for a brand new with tags, never worn, bustier that I had bought from her store about a year ago. Side note: the ladies do not know how to fit their customers so don’t even bother. The funny thing is that my mom and I were staring at the exact same replica of the bustier that I was trying to return and it was selling for full store price, which is $ 60.00. Meanwhile the back of the receipt clearly expresses Frederick’s return policy, which is that after 30 days a product that is in new, never worn condition is subject to a store credit at the full retail value.
While it really was on me to argue the major difference in price it did not occur to me to look at the back of the receipt for the store policy. My mom tried to argue for me because she knew that I was having my own separate issues at the time but I just calmly asked her to let it go. But you know what? The store manager could have been a WHOLE lot more accommodating. lnstead of letting me walk away from the counter talking about how I would just sell the thing on Ebay she could have told me the full price that I was supposed to get for the bustier.
When I got home and was able to gather my thoughts I looked at the back of the receipt, read the store policy, and promptly called Corporate. Frederick’s of Hollywood CA Corporate rocks by the way. I will write a five plus review for them next. As I discussed my concern with Genevieve she simply told me to go over to the store, state my name, and the problem will be fixed. I went on Friday, saw the same store manager, and wow was she super solicitous this time! I was allotted the full $ 65.25 store credit and the manager even offered to help me as I «browsed» around the store. No thanks. I will just save my store credit gift card for the Del Amo location. =)
