I had a great experience seating and enjoying my tea here and the service was great, but I thought the tea choices we had was quite bland and watery. I love tea and enjoy at least two cups each week so for me this does not seem to be at par with others I’ve tasted. But, I found that if you ask the barista, they will try very hard to get it just right for you. Enjoy!

I really love the quality of coffee here and enjoy the flavorful organic, vegan blueberry muffin! Highly recommend this place! Will definitely come back!

Came on a Friday morning to grab breakfast before going to Disneyland and this place was poppin! The have the standard lattes, coffees and a really good selection of teas. I got the Mexican mocha iced. The barista said it’s better hot, but I decided to take my chances anyway. The mocha was pretty refreshing and had a hint of cinnamon… not too overwhelming. I also got the tomato and cheese croissant which was slightly heated up and a pretty buttery so it definitely made a delicious unhealthy breakfast. They make the drinks literally while you stand there before you pay and they do it individually instead of in mass orders. That’s why it does take a little bit of time if you’re waiting in line, but I’d come back!

I just had the most mind blowing Iced Chai Tea Latte with 2 shots of espresso! I’m a huge coffee drinker I usually just hit up the local Starbucks or coffee bean cause it convenient but now I’m sure I’ll drive a little bit further to get this one. The flavor is robust and thick not watered down and bland like others I have had. I love a good cold brew as well and will definitely be back to have one of those as well. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu this spot has special place in my heart

I skipped the coffee but enjoyed my earl grey tea and almond croissant. This is a solid place to get a brew. It’s an independent, charming, non-hipster spot which isn’t pretentious despite the studio crowd.

This is hands down the best coffee shop in Culver City, and they make the best lattes. Today I stopped in to get some coffee for my dad. I got him the Organic Espresso Blend, and I’m hoping he will share it with me, because it smells so good. I’ve been walking around with the caffeine jitters all day, because the coffee smelled up my car, and now my kitchen… not sure if it will survive until Father’s Day, because I’m so tempted to enjoy it now. As usual, I got myself a Vanilla Latte with almond milk. Since I haven’t been here in a minute, I forgot how good their lattes are. They make the BEST Vanilla Latte I’ve ever had, and I’ve probably had close to a thousand or more over the years. It’s rich, smooth, strong, and creamy, just the way a good latte should be. I was headed back for a second one until I realized they close at 6:00. I wish they stayed open later for java junkies like myself, only I think I would get seriously hooked. As always, the staff are nice, and very helpful. They play jazz music too… nothing beats a strong espresso and some good jazz. Kudos!

If you are looking for good-quality, freshly roasted coffee beans but don’t want to pay $ 20+ for a 12-oz package, this is a place to go. My favorite beans is Organic Peaberry($ 15 per lb or $ 8.50 per ½ lb) — perfect for cold brew(in my opinion)! Espresso drinks are good but iced coffee is a hit-or-miss depending on who made it, I guess. They dilute cold-brewed coffee with water. One time, they diluted it with too much water and it was very weak/watery and didn’t get to enjoy much of coffee. But overall, I’m very happy with this place. :-)

Yummy coffee and delicious tea. Try the green vanilla iced… So good! 4 stars because they don’t have wifi… Who doesn’t have wifi these days?

After the first sip of my first Iced Mocha, it was over. Best Iced Mocha I have ever had! If I could have Sugarfish and an Iced Mocha from here for my last meal, I would die a happy man. Each employee knows exactly what they are doing and tends to just you from start to finish. A great way to have accountability and to ensure you are taken care of properly. All coffee shops should be run this way, and I have ran coffee shops. Everyone is friendly and personable as well. I order an extra shot to give it a little more coffee flavor and yes it is a sweet mocha but the flavor is so creamy and amazing, but I guess that would have to be your thing as I’ve seen others say it’s too sweet. They do have their own mocha powder made for them, so it is special and bomb. Apparently you can buy it from them too. I have dabbled in other drinks and they are real good too, as their espresso is good and well pulled. I just always come back to that crack Iced Mocha.

If this place were closer, it would be one of my go-to coffee shops. Try the toffee or vanilla iced latte. It’s as delicious as ice cream, but with the benefits of caffeine.

I’m giving this place three stars but my experience was more like a 2.5. My fiancée and I went here in order to try a new coffee joint. The wait wasn’t an issue at all even though the place was packed. I ordered the café mocha, large, and I was very disappointed it tasted like pure chocolate milk. Basically, I’m 90% sure there was little to no actual coffee/expresso in it. It may have been that the person helping me didn’t know how to properly make the drink but it was bad. Additionally, while waiting for out barista to finish making our drinks I asked another lady if we could pay and got a bit of an attitude from her, she basically said that only the person who makes your coffee can ring you out. I found this a bit strange and slightly off putting but it is what it is. I’ll try this place again at some point to possibly revise my rating.

Their Mexican Mocha is out of this world. I’m not a coffee drinker but I honestly can’t resist their incredibly smooth and ever so lightly spiced Mexican Mocha. I usually order a green tea latte whenever it’s on the menu, which they have, but I can’t seem to order anything else every time I visit because I can’t imagine anything more perfect than their Mexican Mocha.

I love the atmosphere in here. It’s really conducive for doing work except they don’t provide free wifi :( 5 stars for the excellent service every time. I feel that they really try to accommodate as much as possible to get the very order you want — no matter how simple or complicated your order is. You want your ice mocha — blended — decaf — no whip — last minute decision to get your order for to go — no problem! One downside is that there are no long term parking options around here. It’s the kind of place you come to for a meeting or to pick up your coffee and go, so don’t expect coming here to finish loads of work unless you have a magical parking space and your own hot spot.

Hopefully this was just an «off» day for them the day I visited. I came around noon and saw that they had a sign posted that they were closing at 1pm. I didn’t get a chance to see the reason why because my view was blocked. Anyways it took us almost 15 minutes to get our order taken. My boyfriend and I were the first ones in line too. We were just standing there waited to be greeted or acknowledged by an employee. Every barista was doing their own thing(at least 5 behind the counter). Another customer who obviously was there before had a pastry that he ordered(maybe they forgot or something) and had to pay. But the barista that was helping him out just stood at the register and made eye contact with us and didn’t say anything. Like really? Not even a «Sorry, we’ll be with you shortly» or «Sorry for the inconvenience». And then she didn’t even bother to help us after the customer paid for his pastry! She literally just walked away and had to wait for a few minutes for another barista to notice us. From what I saw, I think each barista gets their own customer and they make the drinks for them and help them at the register. When you have 15 people waiting in line, that definitely is not the best way to handle a group of customers, especially if you’re closing for the day soon. At least our cold brew and cappuccino came out in less than 5 minutes. The store does have a lot of things going on. People outside or inside reading/studying/talking to others or the decorative tree on the inside and the merchandise along the wall. And all the teas in the containers along the wall that go up to the ceiling. What I did like is that there’s a separate line if you just want a plain cup of coffee. I think that helps both the customer and barista so you can efficiently get the line moving.

I’ve only visited Conservatory once so I can’t speak about the service on a consistent basis but I can say that the drinks are amazing! I’ve tried several drinks but the iced Mexican Mocha has my heart! It is yummy any time of the year but it’s especially delicious during the holiday season to enjoy with a tamale. It’s just the right amount of cinnamon and chocolate. You can substitute the milk for either almond or coconut milk for $.50 more. The one time I did pay a visit, the line was long but it did go by at an efficient pace. I don’t recommend coming here if you’re on a crunch for time since I’ve seen people lining up out the door when passing by. Other than that, I highly recommend this place!

Strolling down Washington, the sun was shining and we sighted the faux rainbow; this little coffee joint was the pot of gold we were searching for. Once inside, we felt transported to a little french café. Music playing was straight out of a Woody Allen movie, a la Scott Joplin. Walls & décor were an eclectic mix of burlap sacs of coffee, vinyls on display, gold tins of tea, etc. I LOVEDIT. There were only a couple of people in front of us in line, but that gave us time to study the menu. Coffee, Tea or Cocoa. We settled on the Toffee Latte & Mexican Mocha. Each person in line gets a personal Barista that make your drink and rings you up. Our Barista was very friendly, adding to the already pleasant experience. Drinks? Delicious. I wish we could have stayed, but time was up. Final note: I did not experience the crowds or noises other have said, so this was a 5 star experience for me.

Local coffee shops are usually my favorite places to hangout and no doubt this place serves the best coffee in LA. I live like a block away from this place and I found it when I first moved to culver city and I never liked any other coffee better than the one served here. As you step into the store, the left side is full of bags full of organic coffee beans and a machine right by it where they grind their fresh coffee. It’s a very simple looking yet a clean place with a limited variety of bakery food. Their staff seems super friendly and helpful, they do a great job explaining about the variety of coffee and teas they sell in-house. I can recommend this place to anybody who loves coffee and their Vanilla latte is a must try. Tip: If you plan to be here early am over the weekends, please be ready to face a super long line.

What a great and fun coffee shop to come to! The coffee’s here are very good. I got the toffee coffee and it was nicely made. It was not too sweat at all, just like I prefer my ice coffee to be. It gives you a sweet start and within that you get the coffee bitterness that coffee lovers like. The location looks very small from the outside but it has plenty of seating inside and outside which is great. Its décor inside is very fun, with bags of coffee sitting on top of one another as you walk in the store, mainly because they roast their own coffee here so next to the bags you get to see their coffee roasting machine which is overwhelming to us that don’t know how it works but still cool to see. The staff here was also very friendly and helpful, I think they even offer tasting of coffee is you ask for it. They has pastries and other goodies as well, if you are looking for a snack to go with your coffee. We tried the S’more cupcake, very good but very sweet for those that love sweets! One bite was plenty for me! I really enjoyed visiting this place, I will definitely be back soon!

Yummy! What a great coffee shop! Great service, lattes and pastries! I absolutely loooove their Mexican mocha! It was perfect amount of sweetness and bitterness. They have a lot of seating inside and outside. They do not have parking but you can look for meter parking outside which I had no problem with. I will be coming back!
