The tea quality here is quite good; however, the toppings disappoint. As such, this review is relative to other boba tea shops. Compared to Starbucks or Peet’s, I rather get tea at Bird Pick. No jellies, only boba and chia seed are available. I tried the honey green tea with lychee purée. Because they use hot tea to make their iced tea drinks, they use a full cup of ice. As a result, my honey green tea tasted watery which prevented the tea brew flavor to come through. What tea flavor I was able to taste was quite good — floral and earthy. Unfortunately, the watered down approach took over. The lychee purée was very sweet with almost a Icee-like sugary cheapness to it. If I happen to visit the Fox Hills mall, I’ll consider stopping by again. Otherwise, I don’t consider Bird Pick a destination tea house.

Came here and didn’t realize it was inside the mall. Thankfully I found parking in the 1 hour spots, but it took a good while to figure out where Best Buy was so I could find Bird Pick. Im a huge fan of Bird Pick since I visit their Old Town Pasadena location often. If you see the Forever 21 store and 5 guys restaurant, find parking there. Once you park, walk through the main entrance and you will see Bird Pick on your right hand side. I tried their Tropical Sunrise and my friend had the Jasmine Tea Lemonade. I definitely recommend the Tropical Sunrise to anyone who’s never visited Bird Pick before. There are chunks of oranges and mint leaves all crushed into the passion tea. Yum! Drinks are around $ 5 each.

Thank you again for the GREAT service, I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I’ve been to Bird Pick many times, and I especially miss the Santa Monica 3rd Street location. Luckily there’s still one on the Westside in the Culver City mall. I love the Lychee Oolong and it’s great to get loose leaf tea here too. Looking forward to branching out and trying more of the specialties!

As soon as you walk in you know this isn’t just a run of the mill tea shop, it’s super cozy and welcoming. Their extensive menu can seem daunting but the lovely employees actually take the time to explain and describe EVERYSINGLEITEM. It’s wonderful, and it’s totally worth it when your drink is everything you wanted. This isn’t my first time here but since I had the ***stamp card*** I got a free drink! I got the Yerba Mate latte with almond milk(yum as always). Definitely a must for a tea-lover! They also have a large assortment of teas, honey, and accessories to take home and brew your own cup at home.

I’ve been wanting to try the blooming tea/blossoming tea here for a while and I’m so glad I finally went! They have a tea service for $ 6.95 which serves 1 – 4 people. I loved their little patio area that seems dog friendly. It’s a little hard to find though. It’s located inside the Westfield Culver City mall next to Best Buy and downstairs from Ulta. Hidden gem for sure. They have a TON of options(herbal tea, green tea, boba, latte, etc.) and even have a happy hour. I want to try them all

Tea lovers this spot is just for you. More often it’s difficult to locate a place where you can get fresh tea to go or for you to purchase for later. The products being sold here are definitely designed to cater to those who want an option other than coffee, so this was the perfect spot for me. The chill vibes throughout this store had me forgetting that I was in a busy mall. The contemporary mixtures of blends inspire even those who don’t favor tea, to at least sample it. The costs are reasonable for what you’re getting. So be prepared to pay for the quality you seek. There’s tons of flavors and if you need help, the associates will kindly suggest options for you. Tea time is fun if you start with the right foundation.

PROS They have earned 5 stars for their: 1. Sales rep — Leslie was very knowledgeable, patient, and kind 2. Ambiance — the shop atmosphere is very warm and inviting 3. Product packaging — stunning; love their branded look 4. Quality — the tea quality is high end CONS Unfortunately their pricing strategy is negative and they are using deceptive sales practices. We were surprised to learn that their prices were misleading and that in some cases, their products were priced/marked with the cost of the«teas» and that the packaging was extra. This is not communicated in the store nor their merchandising. This is also not orally told to customers while they are being rung up. The extra price appears AFTER you have paid. The second deceptive sales practice is that they charge for the weight of the packaging. We purchase a lot of tea so we have a scale at home and were surprised that the container combined with the tea measured the weight of the product purchased. Therefore, there was less quantity of tea actually in the packaging. Again, this is deceptive sales practices that make this place a one time venue. Buyer beware.

Their peppermint tea was a godsend. I was feeling sick to my stomach and had my boyfriend order tea to help ease my discomfort. The peppermint tea was recommended and it was the perfect cure. The best peppermint tea I’ve ever had. It’s located in the mall next to Olive Garden across from Lucille’s. I think it brings a nice change amidst the shops and restaurants. Tea is calming and tea culture is more relaxed.

This is a cute little aromatic store inside the Westfield Mall next to the Olive Garden. There’s lots of loose tea varieties, accessories, and ready-made drinks. Each tea jar has an explanation of ingredients which helps if you are new to drinking tea. Staff was friendly and I like the storefront and café seating. One star was deducted because every time I asked for an item, I was told they were sold out. I guess it’s a plus to know people buy their products.

I came here to get some«pretty» tea with aroma. That was what I had in mind and this is where I found it. I had no clue what I was specifically looking to purchase. But, I knew what I wanted, if that makes any sense. :) The customer service was amazing. The lady there described the taste of the various teas to me. She asked me the type of teas I liked and based on that she made recommendations of what they had and offered to let me taste whatever I wanted. The pretty tea that she let me try was a blossom! She prepared a fresh pot, demonstrated to me on how to do it best and then at the end of the process, I got to enjoy the aroma and have a small cup. She carefully packaged my purchased in a pretty bag with tissue. It was a lovely shopping experience. This is a good place to treat yourself or to buy a special gift for a special someone. Lovely shop!

Bird Pick is such a nice surprise inside Westfield Culver City! They have a wide array of teas, brewing accessories, and a tea bar inside. You wouldn’t expect such a cool tea spot to be right next door to Olive Garden and across from a haircut place inside the mall. If you’re a tea enthusiast and ever went to Dr. Tea’s in West Hollywood before it closed down, Bird Pick is pretty similar in terms of what they offer inside. Of course, it doesn’t have a bamboo garden because it’s inside a mall, but they have a really zen shop with all kinds of neat gifts and things you can get for your tea loving self or a friend. All of the staff at Bird Pick are professional, friendly, and make this a really great experience. At the tea bar, they offer a wide range of teas with boba(I had the lychee, which was great), specialty drinks(my wife got some kind of cold buster tea, which she liked despite a ton of ginger), and you can even get tea service so you can sip some tea outside of the store amidst the hustle and bustle of the mall. It’s cool because they have nice little touches to their teas — my lychee tea had an actual lychee in it and my wife’s tea had goji berries! Pretty cool. Pro tip: Since Olive Garden is so close, you could totally mooch off their WiFi, sit outside the store and get some work done with a pot of tea if you have a high tolerance for mall noise.

Oh so yummy! I’ve forgotten to write a review on them and not sure why but such a great place to come and enjoy some tea. Their flavors are very natural with great selections. My favorite is the black tea with ½ almond milk and condensed milk ummmm, surprisingly it’s not overly sweet but just perfect. I also like their caramel houjicha. Their prices are a bit high but I think they’re reasonable for what you get. They are located inside the mall by Lucille’s and Yen sushi. Parking is hard if you park on that side, but I suggest parking by the dining terrace and just walking there from inside the mall.

I was sad when the Santa Monica location closed that it was nice to know that there’s one in the Westfield Culver City mall. I love the Purple Drink that includes hibscus tea shaken with lychee purée and sweetener, if you want. It’s sweet and refreshing. Lychee is one of my favorite flavors and pairs well with the hibiscus creating a beautiful purple hue. It’s more lychee with subtle hibiscus flavor. I also like that they also include a lychee, which is like a little treat after you finish your drink. It’s like the maraschino cherry in your cocktail but much better. I don’t really live close enough to be a regular but gladly accepted a stamp card from the very friendly cashier. They sell different types of teas and accessories if you are a tea lover or would like to give a unique gift. When I return to this mall, I’ll take a tea break here.

Oh how I wish there were more places such as this one instead of the thousands of coffee shops. For one– I wouldn’t be so addicted to caffeine. And two– my body would feel much more hydrated and clearheaded! Everything here is so good for your body & soul. You step in and you want to say«Ohmmmm»

This little, cute tea shop is THE place to visit whenever you are in the Culver City area. If you are a hardcore tea drinker like I am, this place is for you. They have all kind of loose teas and the beauty of this store is that you can go and smell every single tea that you want. Whereas in other tea shops the loose tea containers are usually behind the counter, where you have to ask an employee to bring it to you… The prices here are very reasonable and they have the cuttest tea tins. I can not say good enough about this place. If you are a tea drinker, they have this punch card, that after buying I think 6 or 10 tea drinks, you will get a free drink. I wish they would start to keep track of customers who buy loose tea too and reward them after a while.:-) They used to have a location in Santa Monica promenade but they closed it down, which made me super sad.:-(

I absolutely love it here! I go to Bird Pick & Tea at least once or twice a week and it never disappoints. It is a hidden gem in the Westfield Culver City mall right next to the Best Buy. My favorite drink here is the Lychee Oolong(large) which is $ 4.50 but if you buy the reusable cup(one time $ 12 fee) then any of your drinks will be $ 1 off. They also have tea service including: Teapot, Gaiwan, Matcha, and Blossoming. Their Matcha is the only one I’ve tried and it was so good but I am a die hard Green Tea fan so try it if you are too.

Inside of Westfield Culver City, is a superbly delicious and adorable shop that sells tea and tea paraphernalia. I was in the mood for something refreshing, so my boyfriend and I decided to stop in. He got their Lychee Oolong Tea and I got the Purple Drink(hibiscus tea & lychee juice, I believe). HIs and mine also came with an actual lychee fruit floating inside the drink. Both drinks were incredibly smooth and fresh — a perfect mid-afternoon pick me up. FYI — Their regular size is generously large. If you’re stopping by Westfield Culver City, forget Starbucks, forget getting a fountain soda from the food court. Try one of the many light, refreshing drinks at Bird Pick Tea & Herb and enjoy this peaceful little oasis inside of a busy shopping mall. Note — Bird Pick is located on the 1st floor near the Olive Garden.
