My son has participated in BLYBSA camps and coaching clinics for a couple of years now. Rod and his team are talented as coaches and connect so well with the kids. My son’s experience has been nothing less than fantastic. We’re big fans of BLYBSA.

Rodney’s love for the game is infectious. He works with my two sons ages 10 and 7. When my 10 year old first started working with Rodney he would say «I love football! I am just doing baseball during my down time from football.» That mentality has since changed. My son now loves and understands the game and has even joined Rodney’s travel baseball league.
My 7 year old has learned so much as well. He is too young to have joined the travel league but his skill level is well beyond his few short years because of Rodney.
I can not exclude Rodney’s partner JT. He plays a huge role in developing these young players. At times, I don’t know who is having more fun, Rodney and JT or the kids.
All in all having my boys train with Rodney and JT is money and time well spend!!!

My son has been working with Rodney for over 2 years now. When he started, he was a mediocre ballplayer with little understanding of the game, and was barely able to catch a fly ball. This year, he made it to all stars, and has mad skills as a little short stop. Rodney not only improved his skills as a ballplayer, he has instilled a passion for baseball and an understanding of the strategy behind the game itself. Rodney has a great coaching style that works to instill confidence in a child. He has a positive approach that makes kids want to work hard. This guy is awesome!
