I would not recommend this place to anyone. My sister got a brand new set of love seat couch and chair from here. They do not like it. Nothing but problems with it. The furniture was delivered, not sure on the dates but it has been almost a year I guess, the back of the couch was messed up and it did not sit rIght. They exchanged out «couch only» told her to keep the cushions. What? Just exchange the whole couch! But anyway. She still is not happy with the ouch. It is the most uncomfortable couch we have ever seen! When you sit on it you sink so far down into it that it is hard to get up. Even for a young healthy person but my sister who has been fighting cancer all year should be able to sit in something comfortable. She still has like a year or two of payments to make on this set which she has been doing but hates the set. She feels stuck into it in more ways than one! They should have let her bring the whole set back and pick out something else. She will not be shopping no there ever again. I can’t figure out how to give them no stars so they only get the one. Don’t go here.

My dad recently purchased a new home in Culpeper and needed to furnish it. They only have one other place (that I know of) that sells furniture and it’s a Big Lots. My dad really wanted to purchase high-​quality furniture that would last and he could pass down to us. Schewel’s was recommended.
This is the first time I’ve ever been to or heard of Schewel’s but apparently it’s the «go to» furniture store in the Culpeper area for quality furniture! We happened to come in when they were have a HUGE sale so we got furniture at a fraction of the cost. Granted, several pieces we loved were already sold, but we still managed to find exactly what we were looking for. With the purchase of 2 end tables and coffee table, we got a free area rug. Not sure if the sale is still going on, but regardless, I highly recommend this place. The quality and selection is great! In addition, they also sell appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, washer/​dryers, and even laptops and gaming systems. Like any other furniture store I’ve been to, they have credit/​financing options with a promotional «no interest» period. Also, this particular Schewel’s does deliver to much of Northern VA, so you aren’t limited to the Culpeper area only.
Staff were ultra friendly and personable. None of them are «just a face» in a furniture store and they made a positive impression. All were helpful! We joked with them as we made our selection and they made us feel at ease about the large purchase.
Again, highly recommend them and my dad is completely satisfied with his new furniture!

Real sleaze balls here. They explain everything except they forget to tell you your paying a crazy amount $ 400.00 on a 2k purchase for «a credit protection plan». Its clear this is where there profit is. Nothing wrong with that but to lay down a paper and ask you to initial several places and sign a document with no explanation fully knowing most won’t take the option of a credit protection plan is at best deceptive and predatory. I finished my transaction but will never do business with these dirt bags again.
