My review may not be or feel relevant but I can’t hold my tongue. The theater itself is not a bad little theater and I’ve had no complaints so far, which is why they got three stars instead of two. I’m not a Star Wars fan but a friend of mine came to visit and wanted to see it so I went along. Being the first weekend out, I knew it would be busy, the manager should’ve known that as well and properly planned for it. Catching the 12:00 show on Sunday, we got there a half an hour early because the line wouldn’t be awful, taking church into consideration. There was no line outside for tickets but a fairly long line inside for popcorn. And here’s where the problem was. One more employee would’ve made things much smoother. My friend and I didn’t even get snacks but he is Deaf so we needed the manager to get the closed caption glasses, we were told it would be about 5 minutes. So we waited, and one after another people went in to get seats while we waited. For about 15 minutes I watched the manager hand out popcorn frantically to the people gathering after their order was placed and paid, avoiding eye contact with me. I bugged the poor kid taking tickets a few times and he just kept telling me the manager was«fixing» the popcorn machine(that was working just fine at this point). When I finally flagged down the manager, I tried to politely inform him that the movie was starting soon and we still needed the glasses. He in so many words told me they were backed up and he’d get to it as soon as he could, waving his hand toward the line of people waiting to order popcorn. That’s when I normally would’ve lost it. I had to try hard to be polite in telling him that line wasn’t going anywhere and I was not going to wait for every other customer there to be served before he got us the glasses. And while I was talking to him he continued to refuse eye contact while taking tickets and speaking to each person he let through to the theater. So, despite arriving 30 minutes early, we were still left with pitiful seats. I’m extremely disappointed that the manager didn’t make providing(legally required) accessibility devices a priority over popcorn, and treated me sub-parly for simply asking for said device.

The décor needs updating… the lack of stadium seating is appalling… the speakers don’t seem to work very well. All in all… do the drive and go to Fredericksburg or Manassas.

Small neighborhood theatre with small-theatre charm. Large parking lot out back; theatres kept very clean; staff friendly; concessions pricey just like other theatres, but really — what more do you want? They do sometimes show indie films — you just have to keep on top of their playlist, since these usually show for a very short amount of time.

It’s a small theater in a small town. The staff is usually friendly & get the line moving quickly. It’s SO nice to have a local theater so we don’t have to drive to Manassas or Fredericksburg. The theater is VERY clean & there is a big parking lot out back as well as street parking.

Small theater. Concession line always seems to be long. Plays big budget blockbuster type movies only… none of the more interesting, indie, adult dramas that I tend to go for. Ample parking lot in the back.
