Bike Stop – Culpeper

Recently, I went in to The Bike Stop to see if they had an extender for my bike that I could use for biking with my 5-​year-​old (not the enclosed carrier kind). Zach was the employee who assisted me that day. They had a used Trek, but he needed to get back to me on the price once he checked with his boss/​the owner who was not in. Later, he got back to me with a great deal. I was very appreciative with their consideration for my single-​mother budget. Zach got the extender all fixed up and ready for us to use. We’ve already taken several trips to Yowell Meadow Park for a spin. My son loves being able to ride with me, and me as well.

This is the place to go if you want to purchase a bike from someone who will listen to you and work within your budget– Eric is very knowledgeable about all kinds of bikes — mountain, triathlon, road, etc and does not pressure you in any way.
We live almost an hour away from this store and make the drive out to Culpepper to purchase our bikes and get them serviced. We have many options in our backyard but choose to go out to Culpepper for the personalized service we get from Eric and his staff.
I have purchased 3 bikes from this shop — a road bike for a triathlon, a mountain bike for me and a mountain bike for my daughter. The cool thing about this shop is that once you purchase a bike — Eric spends time making sure the bike is fit for your body. I did not realize how critical this is until I bought my road bike from him for my triathlon. I never did this with my old bike and really struggled on most of my rides. With the new bike and fitting with Eric — my rides are now much more enjoyable and I move out with a purpose now when I ride.
I could go on and on about this shop and the people working there so bottom line — great selection, knowledgeable staff and they really care about cycling and helping others love cycling as well!!!

Eric & his staff definitely made buying a bike a great experience. The one on one session to find a bike that fit my fiancé right was awesome.
I live in Gainesville… And i wish i would have waited to buy my bike here instead of performance bikes. i intend to bring my bike here for a service. This place rocks… I wish them great success!
