My wife and I had dinner here and it was a pretty good overall experience. The wait time for a table was about ten minutes. Once we were seated we got some rolls very quickly and the waitress was very nice and helpful. The fried green tomato appetizer is exceptional I was expecting a boring plate but they were perfectly fried and crispy and lightly dressed with a delicious sauce and well presented. I got a filet mignon medium rare and it was actually cooked perfectly and wrapped in bacon. Lately at restraunts they have all been way over cooked. I will definitely be coming back and trying other dishes here.

Horrible place and management staff is less than desirable. Will not be back with terrible service and lack of leadership. Never got to sample the food as the 15 minute wait turned into 45 minutes so we left. Tried speaking with manager but they failed to see fault with the wait.

So disappointed. Years ago it was a great place to eat. Since they moved it has gone downhill. Even all of our orange rolls were burned on the top and hard. Our ribeye — ordered medium rare — was well done. The shrimp and grits have NO flavor or color. It’s literally a bed of grits with 4 shrimp thrown in, no mushrooms, no onions, no bacon, no spices to be found. Mississippi shrimp and grits is a whole different thing. The shrimp linguini with andouille sausage had 3 pieces of sausage smaller than my pinkie nail — and again, no spices or flavor. Very sad what’s happened here.

This restaurant was highly recommended, but I don’t know why! It was pricey and we were there for two and a half hours, with at least 90 minutes spent waiting for our order. Granted, we had a large group; and granted, the waiter made the mistake of waiting until he had the whole order before he served anybody; but the evening was a disappointment(fortunately, the ambiance and the company we were in, made up for the lack of good food or good service). Ate at two other places in Cullman, they were much better, so word to the wise«Don’t believe all the hype you might see in advertisements.»

I’m a Cullman native And have been to All Steak more times than I can count! The«new» All Steak is AWFUL! The only reason i gave it 2 stars is based on atmosphere/décor and of course the orange rolls! Service… Hostesses are not happy, there is never a «hi how are you» instead you are greeted with«how many». the servers are SLOW and occasionally you might get a nice one, most seem to be annoyed to even be working there. You must ask for your drink to be refilled, and even then it takes forever to receive anything! Food… Mediocre at best! Definitely not worth the prices! My son orders the steak medium well and it comes out well done and very tough, my husbands steak is overly seasoned and over cooked every time! Salads are more or less a bag of mixed greens. We do not go unless we are invited and feel obligated…

We had a pretty disappointing experience for breakfast. The western omelet(add cheese) was amazing. It was very flavorful. The pancakes? Huge and tasty. The grits? So creamy. The biscuits were clearly from a freezer and like hockey pucks, and the gravy was as thick as wallpaper paste. The worst part of our experience, however, was the TWO hairs we found on our meals that couldn’t have come from anyone at our table. Obviously, we didn’t finish our meal. Our waitress never came back so we couldn’t tell her, but we flagged the hostess down. Sadly. She didn’t seem too concerned. I think the quality of service and food has gone down since they changed locations. As our small city grows, it would be nice to have some local establishments to dine at. PS. They don’t have orange rolls on the menu at breakfast. Boo!

Just a note: if you order the All Steak Salad for lunch, there is no steak. So it is really the All Steak No Steak Salad. My dining companion made that mis-steak, and was disappointed when his lunch was served. I ordered the special, which was a mushroom bacon quiche. Why? Because I have never had mushroom bacon quiche and why pass up the chance? Was it good? Yes. Not very substantial, but between the fresh bread the the«world famous» orange roll for desert, it was quite adequate. Pretty neat restaurant. When visiting Cullman, I’d come back. Just be sure to order steak with your All Steak No Steak salad, if you want steak with your all steak salad. Personally, I love some nice flank steak on a bed of fresh greens with some balsamic vinaigrette, and that is what I would think would come with an All Steak Salad…

Best steak in Cullman… Period! Excellent service, from a lady named Karen which was very polite and personable. I came in before work while in my work uniform and half expected rude or snobby behavior. That was not the case. I was greeted respectfully and had a wonderful meal and experiance. I’ll be back next week.

If you decide to go on a Sunday, beware! Everyone in Cullman has the same idea, why I can’t say. When you walk in the door they have two menu options posted. You must decide which one you want and que up in the correct corresponding line which randomly changes– good luck with that! We choose the buffet, not bad, reminded me of the old Morrison’s. Adequate if you are hungry. Great for kids!

Excellent food. For an app, get the black eyed pea dip! For the main course, I got the ribeye which was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. My wife got the lemon caper chicken and loved it. The orange rolls are also very good. Great meal!

We had a business event in the back room! Food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. Exactly what we were looking for for this business reward dinner! Food was amazing!!! Most everyone got steak, including me. The filet was great. Some others got meatloaf and chicken pasta — all looked fantastic! My favorite was the shrimp and the crab appetizers! But don’t forget about the Orange Roll!!! I want to come here everyday just to eat those!!! Thanks for a great night! Can’t wait until we are in town again to grab dinner or try breakfast!

I’ve eaten here three times this year. The first time was very good, the second time not so good. Thinking that they just had a bad day the last time, I went back with my family. They had never been there and were looking forward to a good meal. We ordered two ribeye steaks, two crab cake dinners and a veggie plate. The steaks were very over cooked, the crab cakes were so salty you couldn’t eat them and the veggies were straight from the can with extra salt added and then salted again. The orange rolls are good though. I will avoid All Steak in the future. I would advise anyone looking for a good meal to avoid All Steak as well.

Awful is an understatement. We went in during lunch hour– that hour turned into an hour and a half for a simple meat and two(the restaurant was not crowded). The food was tasteless, and had been sitting under the heater for quite some time. We voiced our disdain to our polite, attentive server where she then immediately brought the manager over to our table. We would have never known this person was the manager. We had to ask him who he was and his reply was«I am kinda like the manager». Kinda? In an attempt to smooth it over, he offered complimentary orange rolls. This would’ve been the right to the wrong; however, we had already sampled the orange rolls before he visited our table. Those were undercooked and«doughy». We politely declined. He did graciously remove the meal from our check. The quality of the food and management has drastically declined. I have no intentions of ever dining at The All Steak, again.

Worse than bad. If you eat here you will regret it, the most abysmal dining experience since I worked in Israel. Hell you can get a better meal at Western Sizzlin, Pondersosa, and the Golden Corral fer chrisakes. Big, open, bricked industrial look with no acoustics. This place is loud. But if you can deal with the noise, settle in for what I’m sure the owners think is an upscale dining experience in a semi-remote town between Birmingham and Huntsville, however the quality coming out of the kitchen is anything but. Searching the menu for«sides» which the entrees all state…“Your choice of side,” my waitress named them off and I ordered the stuffed baked potato to go with my steak and shrimp cocktail. First of all, the shrimp was served hanging off the rim of a margarita glass filled with a ketchup/chili sauce mixture. There was no horseradish, no lemon, and the shrimp tasted a day or two off. The tossed salad was likewise uninspiring featuring a bed of lettuce, and a few cherry tomatoes. Thats it, seriously, at a «Steak» house. So I was anxious to get my steak, it arrived overcooked with a «loaded baked potato» that had been sitting under a warmer for at least an hour, and containing a layer of well browned cheddar, and no butter or sour cream. By now I’m past the point of disappointment so I take a knife to my steak… on the third try I finally managed to slice off a section and instinctively doused it in A-1(I knew it would need it, and it did). The sauce however didn’t help me chew this thing, it was like shoe leather. I managed to choke down about 4 bites before pushing away my plate and asking for the check. Please note: I rarely complain in restaurants, its usually not your server’s fault. So when the check arrived, I was astounded at the total, who would think they could get away with charging $ 3.75 for a Miller Lite longneck in the middle of nowhere, and there was also a $ 2 charge for my «loaded» potato without butter and sour cream. I did complain about that and was advised the loaded potatoes are $ 2, even though its not on the menu and I wasn’t told that«Your choice of side» doesn’t mean its included in the meal. I paid, and left grumbling and this is how I extract my revenge. Don’t eat here, under any circumstances.

We went in for dinner to All Steak this evening and it was delicious. We started with the black eyes pea dip at the suggestion of our server, Caleb, which was a great start. We got the Ribeye and Sirloin and they were both great and cooked perfectly. I normally order my steaks rare because they get overcooked quite often, but the medium rare that I ordered was exactly as it should be. We were thinking about getting dessert, but we didn’t realize the orange rolls were complimentary, which was a nice surprise. We were too full to eat them right away, so our server boxed them up for us. The atmosphere was very pleasant and they even had a live musician playing beautiful guitar music. Overall, we were more than pleasantly surprised with the outstanding food quality, the atmosphere, and the service. Don’t miss it. :)

We ate our Thanksgiving meal at The All Steak Restaurant in Cullman, Alabama today. Buffet, everything was superb, we left with full & satisfied tummies. And for $ 20 a person, we felt that the price was incredibility reasonable. Many thanks to the ownership and the staff of All Steak Restaurant for being open on this holiday.

While in Cullman on business, I was told this is the place to grab dinner. So here I am. The pros: Good steak, not mind blowing but great value for the money. Atmosphere is very welcoming. The pseudo industrial feel is well done. Salad was kinda generic, but was crisp and fresh. Balsamic dressing is made in house. Beer selection is good. Several local options and Stone IPA on draft :) My waitress is very friendly and attentive. The cons: There aren’t too many reasons I could tell you why not to come. This is a personal peeve, but a steakhouse of this magnitude should have salt and pepper grinders NOT dollar store shakers. Also when I walked in, the host asked«can I help you?» I’m not dressed like a vagabond and was fairly put off by his«welcome». All in all, if you are passing through or a local this is probably your best option for a decent meal. There’s not a lot of local competition as far as I can tell, but would recommend All Steak. Also, there’s not a lot of restaurants that serve libations in Cullman(crazy I know), but this place is one of the few. And lastly, the«world famous» orange rolls are tasty but don’t quite deserve their title.

I have ate many times at All Steak, in their old location above the bank, and overall was pleased with the service and quality of the food. Tonight was a different matter, 15 minutes to get the first glass of wine, and when I say glass I mean less than a third full for a normal size glass. It took another 10 minutes to get the appetizer, crab claws inferior quality cost 15 dollars. After waiting 10 more minutes and no one having taken our order, I asked for the check, 24 dollars total for one glass of tea, one glass of wine and a very small plate of inferior crab claws. Walked a block away to Moe’s where we enjoyed a great meal at an affordable price. I will never go back there again!

My favorite restaurant in Cullman. Great food, service, and atmosphere. The wait is a little long when they are busy, but it’s worth it. They are busy for a reason.
