This is a nice grocery store with a decent selection and reasonable prices. Many times they have the best prices in the UP on avocados. They also have a good selection of beers and decent porketta and other specialty meats.

Park Ridge, IL
Nice little supermarket on the edge of Crystal Falls. Going to a town where most shops don’t open till 10 or 11 AM and close up at 5 PM on the dot, it’s nice to know there’s one place open early at 7 AM in case you need something, and stays open later as well.
I stopped in to grab a few pasties (pronounces pass-​tees) to bring home after our trip and sure enough they had a bunch in the freezer aisle.
The store is logically arranged and despite it being small-​town grocer, they’d measure up well against a bigger supermarket like the ones you’d see around Chicago. And the cashier on that morning — she was from Morton Grove, IL!
