This is my favorite restaurant in Crystal Beach. The food is great and the atmosphere fantastic! My favorite waitress is Terran. She is so friendly and professional and is always on point with my needs. Anyone vacationing or renting in this area should try Steve’s Landing.

Service and food have improved dramatically. On our latest visit, food was superb. Blackened fish tacos – excellent. Pecan crusted snapper – amazing – huge, fresh filet with a light dusting of crust. Kudos to Steve’s Landing for stepping up their game.

This place is hard to find but well worth the effort. I had grilled shrimp with dirty rice and grilled pineapple. My wife had shrimp and grits. Both were excellent. The server(misty) was top notch. She had great knowledge of the menu and was very attentive without being overbearing.

We found this restaurant randomly because we decided to take a drive to Galveston and then take our boys to ride on the ferry. Despite a chilly greeting from the receptionist the staff was exceptionally friendly. The food however, is what stands out. My husband had fried catfish with honey garlic veggies and mashed potatoes. I had lemon buttered salmon. Both dishes were amazing. We are looking forward to coming back soon for more amazing seafood dishes.

Tonight was our first time at Steve’s and let me just say… WOW. The food was amazing to say the least! There was not a single thing that we disliked! The food was fresh, delicious and did not take long to be placed in front of us! The atmosphere is great and the views are pretty! Kristy was our server and not only was she courteous and polite she was so helpful in suggesting dishes. She was able to articulate about the dishes and convinced my husband to choose a coconut fish Curry. He was so beyond impressed! Overall amazing restaurant! Pricing was very resonable, especially considering the quality of food! We will definitely be back!

We had decided to do a last minute trip to Crystal Beach for the weekend. I had heard about this restaurant from a co-worker, and I am so glad we tried it. It is tucked away — you wouldn’t know it was there unless you were searching for it. The restaurant is clean and well kept. The food is amazing. I had the fish curry and my husband had the tikka masala shrimp & grits and they were sooooo good. The kids had fish & chips and popcorn shrimp & fries. They were good size portions. If you are in Crystal Beach — you must try this place!

Great place to eat! If you are hungry I would call and make reservations, the weight can be kind of long. Fun atmosphere and a pretty view. Food is spectacular! I highly recommend the bacon wrapped shrimp for an appetizer

We were blown away by the quality of food and presentation. I have to admit this was not what I was expecting in Crystal Beach, but we found ourselves pleasantly surprised! Great atmosphere and location on the water. You can even play corn hole downstairs and hang out with friends and beers. Support this restaurant! They’re doing it right!

We tried the Curry Coconut fish, coconut shrimp, crab stuffed jalapeños, tuna tacos, bacon wrapped shrimp. Food was excellent. A mix of different cultures and flavors. Reasonably priced as well. The staff are friendly and efficient. The décor is really well thought out as are the dishes-mixed shapes but matched. They have lots of patio seating and porch swings. Downstairs there are games –jenga and corn hole. The drinks are creative and very tasty. Will definitely be coming back. Even the owner was present and inviting. Love the atmosphere. We came by boat and plenty of parking!!!

It was pretty great all around. Food was great! The ceviche tostadas are to die for! A must try! Service was a little slow, but not to bad over all. I’m a very impatient person! Lol.

Sorry, would have taken pictures but the ones already posted are the ones I would have taken anyway. Plus I couldn’t control myself and dove into my food when I remembered to take a pic. Arrival time was pre-lunch rush about 11:15 on Saturday– not too many cars in the lot, but that changed quickly. First off, the restaurant looked very nice inside and out — especially for being on the point. We were seated within a few seconds of walking in the door. The décor was nice, restrooms were clean, and the view of the bay across the channel was very nice also — will have to see a sunset here soon while sipping one of the awesome drinks they make. The appetizer came out relatively quickly, along with the drinks being quick also– both were excellent. We had the coconut shrimp– excellent — the drinks I had were the coconut margarita and the monkey banana drink(cant remember the name, but I will be getting both again) The drinks my other half had were the long island ice tea made with rasberry and the blueberry mojito — these were excellent also. For lunch, I had the Tecate Beer Battered Fish Tacos, couldn’t have made a better choice. These should put all the Austin area fish tacos on high alert– because ATX has nothing on Steve’s Landing. My other half had baja shrimp tacos — but I don’t think she was into the mango pico so some taco trading took place. They were excellent also! Our waitress was on point. She never let us run out of drinks, nor did we ever have to wait to have an empty plate cleared or a water glass refilled. We will be coming back to Steve’s Landing every time we come down to enjoy the coast from now on for a sunset dinner or maybe a beach break and lunch also :) You guys rock!

Enjoyed everything — 25% off crab rangoon appetizer with mango chutney for Unilocal check in, Coleslaw, fish tacos, crab stuffed shrimp and never an empty glass. Justin is a friendly and«with it» server. Sat outside on the deck overlooking the intercostal canal and watched boats, birds and even a jellyfish go by. After lunch, went downstairs and relaxed in one of the hammocks for a bit. Just great!

One of the best places in Texas to watch it the sunset. Prices were kinda high but the food was great. Baja Tacos and Fish Tacos were both a hit. Calamari to start was also a good choice. The atmosphere on the deck was slow and quiet. We walked thru the main room and it’s like a high school cafeteria. It was very amplified. Come early. We left right after sunset and the line to wait filled the entire front deck and some below.

Great place off the main road. Very clean and the services was great! We had the Crab Stuffed Jalapenos, Lemon Butter Salmon, and Crab Cake Dinner. Everything was spot on! The food was all fresh and it took no time coming from the kitchen! If you are coming across from Galveston on the ferry, make sure you plan your time. You might have a little wait getting back and forth. However, it is well worth it!

We had not one but two great meals at Steve’s Landing over the Labor Day weekend. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying on Boliver. The restaurant sits at the end of a road on the bay side of the peninsula, watch for the sign or you might miss it. Parking is ample. I recommend going at sunset to catch the beautiful view. If visiting on a holiday weekend, you might want to make reservations, to ensure you have a sunset view. Everything on the menu sounds delicious. Over the two visits, we tried the cab wontons(made with real crab), mixed appetizer platter and fried shrimp platter. Ohhh, and baklava cheesecake for dessert. There is also a drunk menu, with great mixed drinks. Friendly staff and great service, will definitely be back next time I head to the beach.

This place is a gem! It’s far from where I live(Houston) but I try to come here to enjoy the food, drinks, and the waterside view. The owners are what makes it a great place to keep coming back. They are very friendly and the waiters are good at what they do! The food is really good and different from the norm around the Galveston area. We got the sampler appetizer with cheese sticks, stuffed jalapeños & fried mushrooms which was really good! I highly recommend the shrimp taco plate and the side order of fries with the fried shrimp option — delicious! I also recommend the Jai’bug cocktail — super refreshing and comes in a nice main jar! Also, they have a nice swing deck area outside the door near the bar and a hammock and games downstairs! Definitely will keep coming back here!

Steve’s is getting 5 stars because this is hands down the best option in the area by far. They have a great casual downstairs area for those looking to play washers, lay in a hammock, watch the boats zip by on the intercoastal and just generally keep it casual. Upstairs, they cover your dining needs with a slick wood and nautical interior, nice bar area, great food options and a nice elevated view of the waterway. The food was very good and seafood fresh. They have a lot of seafood offerings, and from what our table ordered, they do a great job at cooking everything correctly. Since we came by for lunch, we each got a version of their taco plates. The Avocado tacos were surprisingly tasty and filling, Regular fish tacos were lightly battered and came out perfect, tuna tacos had the perfect amount of sear and pink in the center, and the baja shrimp tacos had large portions of shrimp also cooked perfectly. Trendy restaurants in Houston could charge $ 25 a plate for these dishes, but if my memory serves me, the taco plates ran around $ 11. Service was very prompt and friendly. Our main server made sure everything we ordered came out in a timely fashion and was really personable. The manager came by to amke sure we were having a good lunch and even the water/iced tea filler was on point, making sure all glasses were topped off at all times. Hats off to the front of house. I’ve heard most weekend dinner services get really packed, so make sure to call ahead for a reservation if you’re coming on a popular night. Summer is obviously the busy season, so make sure and calla head if you’re not sure about hours when the cool fronts start coming to town. Great spot for a bite when you’re on the island and looking for something a bit above the usual.
