L’Etoile Catering

Okay, so, hubby and I visit Charlottesville frequently because our good friends live there. We had the wonderful opportunity to experience our favorite restaurant’s catering services at a party that we attended during our last visit. Our friends had a 30 year anniversary and L’Etoile Star Catering did their thing…
All I can say is WOW. Southern hospitality at its finest! We had a lovely field greens salad to start, which was served with warm Chiabatta and herbed butter. Really tasty. I’ve never had beef burgundy before. This was absolutely delicious! It was cooked with winter root vegetables. Real comfort food! Dessert was a chocolate/​apple bread pudding with warm caramel and crème anglaise sauce. OMG. I ate every bite. I have to say that the coffee was so good! Dark and velvety (French roast?) and really hit the spot. These people know their food. The service was spot-​on and friendly, too.
Can I say? They are like ducks: Paddling like heck underneath, but cool and calm on the surface.
I SO WISH they existed here at home! I would hire them in a second.
