Jolly Rogers Lounge

Been here three times. I drank and oggled some straight up hoes. I even purchased a few lap dances. I always felt like I got my money’s worth. No cover charge. I’m going to visit again soon.

So… this is one of those reviews that have been sitting in the «Drafts» pile…
Seedy… lap dances… cheap drinks… one can find themselves in trouble here. Game on…
Searched «Bar» on Unilocal… this place came up local — no pic, no reviews or tips… Ya, it’s in Crown Point — let’s check it out.
I park… bright neon… not very piratey.
I grab a seat at the bar… oooh! fish tank and seashell stuff.
I buy a beer and ask to start a tab… Cash only.
Watching tv talking to the bartender… Hot blonde wearing near nothing sits next to me and starts talking… talk, talk, talk. Next thing I know… «Hey do you want a dance?»
I look around for the dance floor… nada. Then I REALLY look around… the girls are WEARING NADA!
I just came here for a beer I say… 20 minutes later I’m getting a dance.
Hey… what can I say, she was nice to talk to and not pushy or mean after I said no the first time.
The bartender is great and can keep up with the drink orders pretty well. Only screwed up my drink once. Not bad considering that she was the only one behind the bar and there were about 30 patrons.
The «dance» area is in the back… large room, has a pool table and coat rack. Dance was kinda awkward since the other employees are standing there talking by the pool table. Plus the fluorescent lighting and hard chairs weren’t helping either.
The patrons here are cool, we all had a laugh about me saying «No thanks, all I wanted was a beer» This place has that corner bar feeling, where everybody knows everybody and we’re all friends… except with lap dances.

Liquor — $ varies
Dances — $ 20
I don’t «frequent» these places per se but, this was kind of a neat place to run across.
Check it out if you’re lookin’ for cheap drinks and a lap dance. Bring your buddies, or make some new ones there.
