GREAT place if you are wanting to lose weight — they’re always out of SOMETHING… whether it’s bread for the actual sandwich(which is odd since you supposedly aren’t allowed to purchase those loaves), avocado, an employee to make the actual sandwich or like today, the pickled onions. I haven’t been able to get what I intend to order for the last 3 times I’ve walked in the door. It’s absurd. The ONLY reason I continue to give this business any patronage is because their bread isn’t full of weird ingredients and I like giving my kiddo«wholesome» carbs. Hard to support small business when it’s a constant crap shoot though. Have back-up plans for lunch!

I had a roast beef sandwich on the honey whole wheat bread. It was something I could make at home sure… Honestly that what I loved so much about it!!! It wasn’t some fast food meal or pretentious sandwich. It was just this delicious roast beef on some really yummy bread! That bread was great. Not that I make great myself but it tasted like what I imagine it really should taste like. Not like the bread you buy out of the store but out of grandma’s oven. They offered me a slice of another bread to sample — Cinnamon Chip. I got a loaf to go and they sliced it for me. This is totally going to be made into French toast tomorrow for breakfast! Delicious! This place was clean(I always check that out in all my reviews) and I liked how I could see what was going on as they made my food. Everything appeared in tip top shape which makes me feel good. They also have my favorite peanut butter for sale here! It looks like there are a few gluten free products as well

We go by this place very often and have never stopped but today my wife wanted to go in and I am not sorry in the least. As we walked towards the counter a very pleasant young lady asked if we would like to try a slice of bread and of course I accepted and I chose the Jalapeño, cheddar and garlic it was amazing. I ended up buying a ½ loaf and it’s already gone along with a bowl of their chicken and dumpling soup and that was great. Also my wife bought a loaf of their cinnamon raisin bread that was fantastic. If you go you won’t be sorry. And yes I will go back since I only live 10 minutes away

I’m a big fan. Go about twice per month. Their bread is phenomenal. Their sandwiches are packed with fresh meat and cheese. At the rate of fast food deals now a days… it’s an awesome value and quality for little more than you spend on a value meal at a chain. Soup is hit or miss. Love the turkey and the roast beef.

Great service, delicious sandwiches and AMAZING bread! I could seriously eat an entire loaf of the cinnamon chip in one sitting. I’d hate myself after, but I could do it! I can’t wait until they update the menu and add salads! Panera Bread just lost my business!

They bake bread. No really they bake a few bread options and while they are ok they are just that ok. The sandwiches are again just ok and that goes for the rest of the menus items. I am just having a hard time figuring out what they do really well because the baked good options are limited and the meal/sandwich options are as well and somewhat boring.

We were really pleased when Great Harvest came to Crown Point. It has amazing potential because of its position on the town’s square to be the perfect spot for lunch or coffee in between antiquing and shopping. But we were disappointed by our visit there. I’m hoping that GH management reads this, because I don’t want to just criticize your shop, but to offer constructive comments that will enhance your business and make it more appealing to customers. First, when we entered, we were expecting to smell freshly baked bread(or other luscious smells). Instead, there was a rotten, rancid odor(not sure what it might have been, but ick). Then, I’d like to respectfully suggest that you teach your staff the importance of basic hygiene. The clerk who handed me my cup for coffee did so with her fingers inside the cup. Not a big deal for a busy clerk, maybe, but not a very reassuring sight for a customer. Also, even though we arrived at the end of a busy day and the staff was really busy, the place seemed sloppy, unkept. There was no liner in the trash bin, and all of the little sugar and creamer packets were just dropped in. Look, I know that I sound like the health department, but such small things make a big impact. Your place could be so much more appealing by making some basic changes. By the by, my cup of coffee was really fresh and good :) UPDATE: We returned to Great Harvest recently, and found that these issues seemed to be resolved on the day we visited, so I upped my original two-star review to give Great Harvest five stars. We had a HUGE chicken salad sandwich that was delish, and some of that wonderful coffee. The place was clean, the service/hygiene good. Glad that the management/owners care about their customers’ experiences and make changes that bring out the best of their business — for them, and for us :)!

Great bread and friendly, fast service. The Veggie Three seed hummus sandwich is my favorite. Great addition to Crown Point!

Great place, little pricy, but very good! Cinnamon chip is the best! Get there early in the morning!

A little expensive for my tastes, but you pay for quality ingredients. We’ve gotten loaves of the cranberry orange and cinnamon chip, and both were great. Can’t wait to try the hummus bread! Go early if you have a certain bread in mind since they tend to sell out of the more popular ones.
