I had chicken fajitas– they were pretty good. Needed a little more seasoning. The chips and salsa were good too but wouldn’t waste money on the guac. Friendly staff– the place was very busy.

pLace is a little difficult to find tucked away in a small strip mall. I was seated promptly by all male staff. Nice menu selection. I ordered. The Buritto Suizza for $ 5.99. Chips and salsa promptly brought to table. Very good, I received my order within 15 minutes. Choice of Red or Green pepper sauce coved my Buritto. This is a very diverse group of customers from business people to construction workers. Everyone has a take home box when you leave. This was my first visit, and I will go back again and again. Great food, good food, reasonable priced.

Hands down some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The burritos are huge and very satisfying. The ingredients are always fresh. The rice and salsa is equally as good. Also, the horchata is addicting. Whenever I think of Mexican food, this is where I want to go.

I was very impressed with Fat Burrito! I’m a born and raised Chicago girl, therefore I was lucky enough to be raised with amazingly diverse foods. And yes, I actually mean Chicago and not a suburb of. I recently hopped states and moved to Indiana, and good Mexican food has been something I’ve missed like crazy! But now Fat Burrito can fill that void! I will still miss my faves, like Zaca Tacos, but I take solace in knowing a good steak taco isn’t far away!!!

The food was great the first time but the second time i attempted to eat at this place i tried calling in an order. I got hung up on… TWICE! Then i tried walking in later that night and they were just 2 busy. As i walked out the door i told my friend how they had hung up on me earlier and one of the workers overheard me and got shitty with me… i dont care how ‘busy’ you are there is no excuse for being rude to a customer — especially 3 times in one day!

Took the family there on Halloween night for dinner. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the«fat burritos» and they were HUGE. Very tasty, steak was seasoned deliciously. I thought it was little on the pricey side but not horrible. I would recommend this place and I will return.

The only time I will not come here for Mexican, is when I’m in the mood for a margarita with my meal. If they start serving booze I may never leave.

Food is good and prices are reasonable. I usually ask for avocado in my burrito and sour cream on the side and they are very accommodating.

Chorizo egg fat burrito is where it’s at. The portions are absolutely massive and the prices are great. My husband ordered the chicken/beef fajitas, which looked delicious, however, he thought meat was overcooked. Overall, it was a good experience and would recommend. It gets only 4 stars for the overcooked meat and slightly slow service.

I went in to eat on lunch hour from work. There was plenty of time to order and eat. The fat burrito was delicious. In fact, it was so fat that I had enough left over for a second meal. The price was very reasonable as well.

This place is the bomb. Ive been going there since they opened. It was small then and its a lil bigger now with more tables since they moved next storw but they need more space. Thats a good thing! Take out super busy and tables full even when you think they might be slow. Fat burrito is just that… FAT! salsa is fresh and very good! I just moved back to crown point. ut oh, there goes the scale!

The overall experience was good. The wait time for a burrito sit in was about 30. Chips and salsa had a good balanced season and freshness. We all got fat steak and chicken burritos and they were so filling and the price can’t beat it.

Solid place, good food at a good price for the portion you get. Of course like every other Mexican joint, you get chips and salsa when you sit down. The chips were… well they were chips. The salsa was great though, just a bit of spiciness and they added some fresh chopped cilantro in it which set it apart from some of the other similar places in the area. I ordered the Chicken Burrito with Spanish Rice, my lovely companion had ordered the Steak version. Burritos are pretty giant — even for the regular sized ones. Stuffed just the right amount so you don’t have some sloppy mess on your plate after the first bite. I thought the chicken was delicious and the other ingredients in the burrito were perfectly proportioned to each other. I got a couple bites of the Steak Burrito too, also absolutely om nom nom good. Spanish rice was OK for me but, nothing too special. It was a good accompaniment to the burrito though. Service was good, food came out fast and hot, the restaurant itself was kinda small, but it seemed like the majority of the patrons were getting take out. Over all, I’d say I’d go back for more.
