Apac Surgery Center

This is my second office visit. I saw Dr. King and the first visit he was very friendly and seemed very passionate about his job. He was a very comfortable person to talk to and I feel that is very important.
I came back today to get a nerve block shot in my neck. I called earlier to make sure I didn’t need a driver and was told that I didn’t need one. About 5 minutes before getting to the office I noticed that I missed 2 calls less then an hour before my appointment. I DO need a driver! Not cool!
So I had to formulate a last minute ride to come and pick me and my car up. I ended up having to wait an hour for my husband to come. The staff apologized so much. I’m not going to dock them a star or anything. Mistakes happen and you could tell that the person that called me felt so bad.
I was very concerned and nervous about getting the shots but the Doctor and the Nurse were very comforting. I barely felt a pinch. There was a little discomfort but now many hours later I feel a lot better.
Dr. King answered my questions, he was knowledgeable and very personable and I was very glad he was so friendly because I hurt and the last thing you need when you are hurting is a doctor that sees dollar signs and not a hurting person. I have a follow up appointment and I was referred here by workman’s comp. If I have other issues with pain (I have lower back problems) I would come here for sure!
