What a great addition to the neighborhood. It’s well kept, clean, with friendly staff, and a varied menu. I enjoy the griot and steamed snapper a lot and overall the food is tasty. I eat there at least 1x/week, I can say that each time I go, there’s always something not available on the menu. That can be very frustrating, but I’m sure they will fix that as they are still new business. They just have to be consistent about that and pricing; not have higher prices than what’s on circulated menus. Lastly, I would say the patties can be a little greasy, and their delivery availability is spotty. Other than that, I’m a fan.

This is really good Haitian food, though, I’ve officially only had a handful of Haitian dining experiences, all of which were here in Brooklyn. This is hands-down, the best so far. The staff is nice. The restaurant clean, sleek, and modern. There’s open space to sit and relax and enjoy your meal. The only drawback is that the full menu isn’t readily available each day, but I was informed of this beforehand so that was a good heads up. If you want the more time-consuming, made-with-love traditional Haitian dishes, come on weekend when the Legumes and Fritay will be in abundance. I had the poule fri which is not your typical breaded fried chicken. It was tasty. The chicken was full of flavor on it’s own. I do recommend a few dips into the píklíz that they give. It’s very spicy, which I loved. I got my chicken over the bed of black rice; delicious. It also came with plantains and a salad with a surprisingly nice vinaigrette dressing. I kind of wanted a bigger salad to spread more dressing. My friend collaborated with me and got the griot which is also what I wanted, over white rice. The pork was tender, and flavourful. It did have a good amount of fat on it which I personally wish could have been fried a little more crispily(I“m coining that term). Also, I couldn’t resist the allure of the cups of banana pudding. I’m glad that I didn’t. It was delicious. I’m a fan of this spot. I’ll definitely be ordering out for this to break away from my typical Trinidadian roti preferences in the neighborhood.

The most amazing Haitian food in brooklyn hands down. On my first visit I had the fry goat and plantain it was so delicious. Hoping to try everything on the menu. This has become my favorite place to eat island food …

I called 4x and they never have lalo. They might as well take it off of the menu. But overall I like their food and Haitian patties.

The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to give me a run down of the creole portion of the menu. I ordered the curry lobster with the black rice and beans. It was bomb! The lobster was seasoned perfectly. I would definitely stop by again the next time I’m in BK!

As a food lover and having experienced the pleasure of eating Haitian cuisine this is what’s needed in Brooklyn I just tried my griot dish with black rice and even though it’s totally not mamas griot it was very good I gave it 4 stars because they ran out of patties hopefully in the future I’ll get some good job I see a franchise here.(personal note to the owner: thank u Dee u did good, ur boy E)

i wish there was a negative star i could give this joint. Food is bad and any meat stew will be mostly bones. The staff seems bored and there is a small child who presumably belongs to the family. The kid is often there and a really sad unpleasant presence. Due to either stunted or some serious neglect the kid just sits in the corner and plays insanely loud video games. there are also two oversized TV blasting nonsense all the time. Its just the worst. I hope the joint closes down soon to make place for something decent.

FINALLY! Haitian food in Crown Heights. Mezanmi! Every dish I have tried here so far has been tasty. Patty(beef, chicken, pork). Griot(pork) Tassot(goat) dishes with black rice. Yummy… I also tried the griot burrito, was really good. I knocked off a star for not serving stew chicken in a plate with lid.(Order our food in advance) Haitian time is just Haitian time. The menu is creative with dishes like curry lobster, jerk chicken wings & burgers etc. Truly one of a kind. The lounge in the back is supposed to be open by the new year.

If u are into really good Caribbean food this spot is for u… Pikliz has really good food from the island of Haiti. The traditional Haitian foods are there. Griot(ROASTPORK) Tassot(Seasoned fried chicken and goat)… The place well presented with a hip urban vibe. The down side of this place is that when u order ya food be prepared to wait a long time. The time wasted in there is ridiculous! The food is really good though and if u are prepared to wait u will get a fine meal.
