Groovy on Grand

Cute but far cry from creative and surely nothing in here European. It’s a small selection of clothing and accessories that is on par with mass production kids Gap or something like that but a little cut above as it’s got a «groovy» theme with nice seats for the kids. The service is marginal and not what I think it’s going to take to get the job done for kids coming in looking for something special. I don’t mean to be so harsh but my standards are high in this niche market so keep that in mind when reading what I’ve said. It’s a great local spot but I’m not so convinced that Julie’s review is accurate with parking as the street is pretty busy with other merchants and so keep that in mind, a block or so walking at best so no nightmare.

Cute store but pretty tiny and not that much clothing. The owners are pleasent and helpful. The store shares the building with a shoe repair place.

Parking is easy for this quaint store. Positioned in a building shared with a shoe repair, it is convenient to get into and although the parking is street, there always seems to be plenty to be found.
Owners, Lisa and Andrea are genuine and friendly right off the bat. Bring in a cup of coffee and visit for a few. Lisa and Andrea are active in the community and supportive of local schools and businesses, so stay for at least a brief chat. If you are a parent in Croton, this is the place to go to find out what is happening.
Browse for unique clothing for children in a nice range of sizes. Andrea customizes T’s for girls with their initials or whatever you want on the front using vintage cloth– so each is an original.
Don’t be fooled either– while the shop is most definitely groovy– it is also very hip and assuredly you will find something you like before you wander out for the rest of your day.
Get on the mailing list for specials and updates on lines of clothing, take your kids in for secret Santa holiday shopping (a special area where kids can choose inexpensive gifts for the family while you do your shopping) and to see what is the most up to date in children’s fashions.
