The shop is still the only place in town(or even nearby) to purchase board games, CCGs, and comics. The owner and the staff are helpful and will order whatever you want if it’s not in stock. I like the fact that I can shop here and not give money to Amazon or Barnes & Noble.

Great place to buy and play MTG. Really freindly crowd — fantastic prizes/incentives for tournament & event play. The owner is very nice and welcoming — have only been a few times so far(but going again tonight) and have always had a great experience.

First I brought my laptop, now my desktop… I love this shop, the kids who work/hang out here, and especially the owner, Bryan. He goes out of his way for you without even hesitating, AND prices are totally fair. I can’t say enough about how grateful I am that this is one of my local places. Thanks so much, I really needed my computer fixed! Kim in Croton

3rd universe comics is like 4 places in one. You’ve got your weekly comics with the latest graphic novels, you’ve got a gaming center with 8 well maintained pc’s. You have a place to drop your shitty pc off to have the shop keep fix it for you, and you have special events from role playing to sci fi tv group watching, there was even a cherry pie cook off the other night. My orders come in quickly and the staff has a fun and friendly way about them. 3rd universe is not just a comic book shop It’s a place that celebrates imagination And caters to local and out of town nerds. Support your local comic book shop.

So I was stuck in Westchester, waiting on my girlfriend with nothing to do but drive around aimlessly in her car. Color me nerdily gleeful when I see the sign for a comic shop on the other side of the highway! After getting myself a little lost, I finally make my way to 3rd Universe Comics. I was excited. I love finding little hole in the wall comic shops in the middle of nowhere(sorry Westchester, but there… I said it…), but man did this place suck. They might have had the worst selection I’ve ever seen, with comics shelved spine out, making them impossible to browse. They had an abysmal graphic novel selection, and a staff that seemed more interested in taking apart a hard drive than anything else. But really, what can I expect? It’s Westchester. So I quickly left the place and resumed my aimless driving. Who knows? Maybe I’d see some cows or something. That would be fun… right?
