Flavia’s Tailoring & Bridal Gowns by Ina

Pina leone is the owner of this business and I would not trust my dresses with anyone else. She is affordable, flexible, and most importantly very talented. She helped to fix my sisters bridesmaid gown last year at the last minute and helped the whole bridal party with anything they needed. Love her! You won’t be disappointed if you use this business.

Flavia’s is the best. Though, the lady’s name who seems to run the show is «Pina» as a few other’s have mentioned.
I called up on a Tuesday afternoon, after realizing I hadn’t got my suit tailored for a wedding I had to leave on Thursday night to attend.
Basically, I was totally screwed and was facing the idea of going into a wedding for my GF’s best friend with an ill fitting suit. Not ideal.
I called around to a number of other places and quickly realized many of the tailors in the area are just side-​businesses with irregular hours, slow response times and in some cases, no one in the store or answer the phone during posted business hours.
Similar can be said for some of the cleaners that offer tailoring services. Many outsourced their tailoring and needed to schedule the fitting a few days out and alterations would take a week or two at the minimum.
Then I called Pina @ Flavia’s! I explained that I knew I was behind the 8-​ball, and while she did say it’s a little late to do a full re-​tailoring of the suit, that I should bring it in and she’d do everything she could help me out.
I brought it in and she was extremely professional, quick and made it very clear that she understood the time-​constraints I was working with. Thankfully, she took a look at the jacket and correctly noted that it really didn’t need anything and I was better off leaving that alone. She did quick work on the pants and I was able to pick everything up, on-​time as expected and it fit perfectly based on my style preference and fit.
I would have looked like a mess, and doubled that goof-​up by waiting until way too late to get the alterations done… and Pina saved me on both accounts.
Excellent tailor, worked with my rush-​job and I can’t tell you how nice it is to have a tailor with normal business hours and communications around here.
I’ll take everything I have back to her from here on out and I will tell everyone of my friends and family to do the same.

Hands down the best place to go if you’re looking for affordable, convienient, friendly service! Pina was so welcoming and bailed me out at last minute when every other dress shop couldn’t fit me in. Highly recommended! Not to mention she gets the job done… perfectly!

I was in a jam, and the folks at Flavia’s bailed me out big time! I wandered in, a first-​time customer with a thoroughly unreasonable request: suit alterations in a matter of days, right in the middle of the busy prom/​wedding season. Not only did they accommodate me with impeccable work, but they were so friendly and personable — I was warmly asked my preferences, advised on matters of fit, and sent off with a smile. I’ll definitely be returning here for future alterations.

It was a delight to work with Flavia. Great communication and fast turnaround. She took a basic David’s Bridal dress and transformed it into a beautiful gown.

It’s like the universe led me to this place and I am so grateful it did. I have been in need of a seamstress/​tailor for some time now and lucked out with finding Pina!
The store’s name is «Flavia’s…» but the woman working there is Pina. She is a wonderful lady that was able to beautifully take in a floor length strapless gown for me in a week’s time. She was busy but fit it in for me and did great work.
I have not had a lot of tailoring/​alterations done so I can’t really comment as to her prices but I thought it was fair ($ 30) especially for a somewhat rushed request.
I already have a list of things to bring to her for tailoring and have recommended her to others as well.

Flavia is fantastic. She did a wonderful job with my wedding gown, and her prices are competitive to low compared to other experienced wedding gown tailors. Just remember to bring cash. Of course she is busy! She’s a fantastic full service tailor, she has a shop (many folks do alterations out of their homes), and she specializes in bridal gowns which are time consuming. Absolutely bring your gown (or anything else) to Flavia.

Nice lady very busy. Did a good job but kind of expensive. Also small shop so I recommend going well in advance. I had my Wedding dress hemmed, bustle, taken in on the sides.
