Wishy’s is located in a small town in upstate New York. We went to this place to meet my sisters friend whom grew up in the town… As we walked in, the crowd was a nice crowd, the staff was VERY WELCOMING!!! The sizes of their serving is HUGE! Their ice cream is DELICIOUS!!!

I really wanted to stop here and get ice cream, but they don’t take card. I didn’t have cash, and probably would have found an ATM and come back, but the girl behind the counter rolled her eyes at us, so I’ll go to Stewart’s. It’s more reasonable for a store to at least have a square machine, than expect patrons to carry cash. It’s 2015. Come on.

Wishy’s is a must-​stop on trips to our family camp at Soft Maple. Be sure to reference the ice cream size options on the wall and be conservative. If you’re not willing to gorge yourself, get a half-​mini or mini. It’s enough. I promise.
They have Mercer’s and Perry’s ice cream; I like Mercer’s because it’s local.
It can get busy and each time I’ve gone there’s only been one person behind the counter. Cash only.

An old time ice cream counter with movies for rent on the opposite wall. Root beer floats, lime rickeys, all that old shit.
The smallest cone available, a kiddie, is like a dollar twenty five. And it’s two massive scoops. No wonder everyone’s fat as shit up here.
Peanut butter swirl and strawberry cheesecake ice cream are my favorite flavors.
