Winnie Bruce Photography

One of the best purchases I made last year was a photo session with Winnie Bruce. I was so nervous, my husband was stressing me out, my 10 month old baby was teething and yet our pictures turned out amazing. Winnie managed to quell my anxieties about my post-​baby weight, cranky baby and reluctant husband. Our pictures turned out so much better than I’d even imagined! After we received our digital prints, Winnie had me over to her studio to talk about ordering prints. She had great examples of all of her products and went through the prints discussing with me my options and offering up helpful design opinions. When I got home and measured the space, I had second thoughts about the size of the photos and Winnie allowed me to quickly make a change to something I was more comfortable with. The prints we purchased from her were of great quality and look so wonderful in our living room. Everyday when I see them, I think about how grateful I am to have found someone who really captured this time in our lives. Definitely an experience that was worth every penny. From initiating an appointment to receiving our prints, Winnie delivers a quality product with quality service.

Winnie has really revolutionized my impression of what family photographers and their work should be. Her ability to take a mundane setting and a crazy, disorganized family and turn it into something beautiful and artistic astounds me. She is fabulous with kids, husbands, and even mother-​in-​laws! Her guidance for wardrobe, poses (or lack thereof) and setting has never let us down. I really cannot thank her enough for the timeless, classy and captivating images she has produced of my family.

Winnie is amazing. I have seen a lot of her work and was lucky enough to have a session of my own with my family. She is patient with kids and just amazing. She took so many great pictures. She is very organized, prompt, and has great style. I highly highly recommend her. When we found out she was moving we were bummed! I’d love for her to be the official family photographer for years to come, and she might be worth a few plane trips just for some pictures!

I was a bit nervous about getting portraits done, not knowing exactly what to expect, but Winnie was very helpful. She had a ton of ideas ready which she seemed to come up with right on the spot. She picked a beautiful spot to take the shots and was very professional. I am very pleased with her work.

Winnie Rocks! Normally I’m not a fan of having my photos taken but she did a great job. With a two year old it helps to have a photographer that knows what she is doing as my little guy isn’t all that patient. Winnie did a great job getting us from one photo location to another quickly and even got some smiles from both my boys, a plus! As a Mom herself, Winnie is super patient and knows what it takes to get the kids laughing, not those cheesy fake smiles. Hey, even my somewhat reluctant husband had fun and afterward he said «That wasn’t so bad, it was actually pretty fun!»
Winnie is a super sweet person and very professional, you can tell she is dedicated and takes a lot of pride in what she does. We proudly display the photos from our session in our home and can’t wait until we schedule another session!
