Food and service were very good here. My boyfriend ate shrimp tacos which were excellent and I had a chicken quesadilla which was also excellent! I thought the gentleman that served us was extremely friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back soon!

They’ve come along way since they first opened. The fajitas and margaritas are now excellent. The service is very good now too where they really struggled early on.

I stay far away from this place! I’ve eaten there twice and on both occasions had severe upset stomach following the meal (I’ll leave the details out, but it wasn’t fun) I also feel their menu is limited in options. I will say they have good sangria and margaritas. If I ever go back I’d stick to drinks at the bar and eat before or after I leave!

The Drinks by Dave were amazing. When it comes to the food, the wings were mediocre. The island chicken sauce were way too sweet on the wings. The Caesar salad with steak was really good. Everything did have great portion. I will give Dave 5 stars. Ask for Dave when you get here. These Stars are for Dave.

Soooo I usually order nachos on take out. They are awesome… not today I was kinda disappointed. Normally when I get the containers of black and pintl beans theyre ¾ to full and we have enough to split between two people… today I got a container ¼ of the way full. I called and asked where the rest of my beans were and I was told they only fill it ¼ of the way and if I got more it was a fluke. it was a pretty consistent fluke. I was asked if I wanted to come back for more beans but it’s not worth the drive. I just wanted to know what happened to my food. And I didn’t get my daggone queso. Todays rating is solely based on my current state of hunger and my missing food that would normally quell the hangry. Do me a solid and be consistent in your distribution of foods. Fill the container or don’t fill the container. Put up a check list of things that go with each dish. Maybe when I order again I’ll up the rating but for today… #Fail

The man that greeted us when we first arrived was super nice. The server was friendly but seemed overwhelmed. The food was not good at all. We won’t be returning.

If you want a drink this is your spot. I tried to share a fish bowl and could not. It was just that huge!
The food, however was a different story. I could not eat the dish I ordered so I tried some of the dish my companion ordered. Niether entrée was appetizing. I have not been back.

Way over priced for just ok food. Service was non existing. Not impressed, we won’t be back.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The customer service was not 100 percent but decent. However I will return because the food was really tasty especially the queso dip.

As always they had great food with huge portions. If you ever do go and get Luke as a waiter you might as well just leave. Everything we asked him for was met with «yea, OK» and he would then disappear to get something for a few other tables. Basically ignoring us the entire time we were there and when we had the audacity to ask for silverwear to eat our food he then went and checked on a few other tables and brought them their check before coming back. I really don’t know how someone like that has a job at such a good restaurant. Every time we have gone there it has been fantastic, this waiter really ruined the experience. I can say that when we go again we will ask to not have him waiting our table.

We decided to try and find some Mexican food around the area for date night since we miss it so much being from San Diego. We know nothing can compete to the West Coast, but this place will do for the time being. I liked their chips and salsa a lot, but it wasn’t the best I have had, however it was my favorite thing I ate here. My husband ordered a carne asada burrito and I the same, but in bowl fashion. It was decent and we both enjoyed it, but I will say, I still enjoy Chipotle better (I think it was the rice). I requested a special drink made and they had to make a couple substitutions, it was actually very VERY good, my husband even enjoyed it and he normally hates my fruity drinks.
The staff is so so. When initially walking in, we had to stand around as there was no host around. When I finally decided to just seat myself, a host popped up, she planned on seating us there anyway, she was also very friendly, it looked like she was helping out in the kitchen, not to mention it wasn’t that busy (on a Friday night p. s.). Our server acknowledged us quickly and at first seemed a bit rude and blunt when asking her about the menu, however the more we chatted to her, she actually became much more lively and friendly and at the end of our meal we were joking around and it seemed she came to our table just to chat from time to time. Maybe she had a bad table before us, hopefully we made her night better :)
Overall we might go back, but it wouldn’t be our first choice.

Strong drinks during happy hour. That’s what the one star is for.
Don’t order their wings!!! One, the sauce tastes odd… in a I can’t identify what this is or what flavors its supposed to be, kind of way. Mistake #1. I got extremely sick right after eating them with one of the worst food poisonings ever and my partner got a queasy stomach as well. Mistake #2. Food is sub par… nothing special, nothing memorable, and a complete waste… mistake #3.
Just a complete waste of time. A friend of mine even said he got sick off of the wings also. Smh. Nasty nasty nasty.
IF you dare go, only go for happy hour drinks! You have been warned.

I came back for a happy hour and although they have several deals for happy hour, (get the frozen sangria, it’s delicious) the food was horrible. I ordered the chicken tacos and they were extremely dry and lacked flavor. The taco shell was very hard and almost seemed stale. I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant and the food lacked seasoning and flavor. This trip, I did stop by the wine and cheese area/​liquor store that’s attached to the restaurant, but even that didn’t thrill me. It seems like a cool idea, but the menu in that section wasn’t impressive, the lighting was all wrong and it just seemed to be thrown together. It would be great to have a Mexican restaurant I really enjoy close to me, but I’m clearly still on the hunt for that magical place.

A friend suggested this place for lunch & having never been here I thought it sounded good. At first glance, it looked great. Lots of room, nice décor, music playing, friendly staff… all good. But the food left a lot to be desired. The enchilada sauce tasted like ketchup, the rice was more like something you’d get at a Chinese restaurant than Mexican, and the beans were loaded with onions, positively inedible. The salsa was ok, and honestly was the best part of the meal.
This place may be ok for a happy hour with some basic tacos, but I wouldn’t go for a full meal.

Great food good service!
Food was presented well and full of flavor. Exactly what I would expect from a Mexican restaurant. The price is above what I would expect to spend for Mexican. It was not expensive but right at the sweet spot. The food portions are very generous be prepared to ask for doggie bag. Unfortunately, I’m not the left-​over type of guy. The ironic thing about this joint is that I only saw a few Hispanics working there. Not that it matters, just worth mentioning. It is a bit of a drive but you would be a fool to pass this place hungry, thinking you are going to find a better place in the area or in the city. They are easily one of my favorite spots. Sit at the bar and ask for Brian and order a margarita with an extra shot on the side.
The parking lot layout and entry could be designed better. I didn’t care for the lottery racing game in bar (consider a more club friendly game).

Place seemed dirty.
I knew it was going to be a bad experience when I walked in– a lady came to pick up 5 boxes of food. And walked out. The hostess asked the guest that were waiting what happened to the boxes… everyone pointed out the door and said the lady left. The hostess began to curse and ran out the restaurant yelling… To her surprise (not ours), the lady had already peeled out the parking lot. She returned to the waiting area– cursing and noticeable upset. While, i liked her passion– it wasn’t professional and I knew from this point on that the experience wasnt going to be great.
The waiter was actually pleasant and professional…
The food was americanized mexican food… which I wasn’t expecting when I drove past this place.
The guacamole was actually good.
The entrees were nothing special AT ALL. Which I gathered this from reading the menu…
I would not return to this establishment…

Read many good reviews on this place but I have to admit that the views were correct. I am talking about the good and the bad. The food I had was good as I opted for the burrito gordo. Unfortunately the person who I came with could not say the same as there food came out cold. I touched their food and I have to admit it was cold and it was one of those situations where you can tell food was sitting. Especially when the food of people who came in after us came out before ours. You may say wait a minute you said your food was good so why only two stars. I just don’t judge a place by food. Here is the main reason why for those of you who might be curious. I went on a Sunday, Father’s Day actually and I arrived at 1230. This was a full 90 minutes after the place opened. Upon entering this establishment you do notice an old moldy smell which I think is coming from the carpet in the foyer area. There weren’t that many people in there as there were at most ten other customers but it seems like there were only three people on the floor working. I place my order at 1238 and it got to my table at 114. To me having a 36 minute wait is kind of ridiculous.
Back to the food. I did enjoy the food as the burrito had everything in it. It contained chorizo, steak, csrnitas, and rice wrapped in two 12 inch tortillas. Despite the food being good for myself the wait time was too much and if it was like this when empty I hate to imagine what it’s like when crowded. For me this place was a first go but no more.

This was my first time visiting this establishment and let me tell you it was amazing. We stopped by for Mother’s Day lunch (No need for dinner) The customer service was awesome and the menu was authentic Mexican cuisine. If you like iced cold beer try the draft Coors Light it’s so so cold and refreshing. I highly recommend this establishment.

I blame my janky phone for not being able to check in. The 40 minute wait for a friggin taco salad is all on them. You’d think that after all that time waiting that my food would come out piping hot. .nope. there wasn’t even a lot of people here & the wait for food is ridiculous. I’m officially adding this establishment to my one and done list.
The waitress Lilly was as nice as she could be but seemed baffled when I alerted her to my cold food. For sake of time (and being hangry) I ate as much of this greasy lettuce bowl as I could. I was not wowed at all.
