Mystic Piercing & Tattoo

I hate to write a bad review. I don’t really often write a review but when I do, it does really matter either the worse or the best. This was my worse experience as I had to waste my 45min of waiting time and someone jus cut me off the line. I was thinking because I’m Asian or maybe because it’s a white privileged type of thing. I was waiting to get my piercing done 15min after my check in, and that dude with the mother just came in (as they have friends already signed in. Once the technician call their friends in, they just went in with them. I didn’t expect that they would be able to get it done before me (because they signed in 15min after me). I was pissed at the time and I walked out to talk to the guy whom signed me in, guess what he said ??? He said oh! Because the mother signed him in already plus they and their friends came in together. I was like what !!! I was there waiting the whole time and I’m not blind !!! Treat your client fairly !!! I have money to pay you even though I’m Asian!!!

Pretty chill atmosphere and a large selection of jewelry. I got my septum pierced 6÷1÷16 by Ben and he was pretty cool. He was very helpful in explaining the aftercare of the piercing and he was good with explaining what he’s doing while he’s doing it. Also the pricing is great and cleanliness of the place is up to par. I definitely recommend them!

Ronie is amazing! I got my first tattoo a week ago and I went back and few days later for my 2^nd one. I was very nervous before getting the first one and Ronie maybe me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend getting your tattoos by Ronie.

I was dissatisfied with the tattoo I received from Mike. It was not a realistic image of my dog. I was given a refund and will now have it removed. Jimi, the owner, has agreed to keep both the pictures of the tattoo and of my dog off display. I appreciate his consideration.

PHILL is bomb AF. I went to him a few months ago wanting a floral watercolor tattoo. Knowing that this technique is difficult I wanted to make sure I found the right artist for the job. So when I saw a beautiful watercolor octopus on a friends arm I immediately asked where she got it, and she told me about Phill. I met with him for a quick consultation a few weeks later and he gave me the breakdown. He was working while we talked so I was able to get a sneak peak of some of his work. I came back the following week with a friend and he got to work. The tattoo took just under 2 hours to finish and he let me check the progress along the way, but in all honesty I would have trusted him to do it all without me approving. He has a steady hand and is just great at what he does. I showed him an inspiration photo and he personalized a new version for me. I have nothing but great things to say about him. He is very easy to talk too, makes you feel comfy, and is an incredible jack of his trade. I was so impressed and appreciative I came back a month later for
Some line work on my arm. Phill will be my guy for as long as I live in MD.

Many moons ago I got many piercings. I should go back. Staff is knowledgeable and it is a sanitary environment.

Ben is awesome! I walked in last Wednesday to have both of my nipples pierced. He is very personable and made it so comfortable. He was also quick about it and they look great! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
The store is also clean, with a huge selection of jewelry.
I plan to be back for a tattoo next!

The piercers are very friendly and welcoming. The shop is clean and has a wonderful selection of jewelry.
If ur planning on getting dermals done i would say. Get them done at mystics (i got mine done by ben) and they were done properly and very evenly, i have one on each side of my hips and no trouble with healing.
The one thing i dont like is unless ur getting an industrial (which i did get. Turned out nicely) they strictly only use cbrs for the new piercings. Nice to accommodate for swealing.
The down side some piecing dont work so well with cbrs… For example the navel. After mine still hurt to clean as though it was a fresh piercing 2 months later i did a bit of research and discovered the cbr (with some exceptions) is not the jewelry to be wearing in a fresh navel piercing espically if ur quiet skinny (like me) because it moves far too much irritating it and slowing the heal process… Im upset that now i have to change out a not healed piercing just so it can heal without trouble.

If you’re looking for a place, especially for a cover up, ask for Mike. He stays pretty busy and I had to make several appointments but it was well worth it. He was able to cover up a large crooked cross I got when I was younger. No one else would even entertain it. Not only did he cover up but he left me with an amazing piece of art on my arm. Couldn’t be any happier with it. Outstanding work. Place is clean, each artist has their own room, and prices were reasonable.
I had been there for smaller tattoos before this cover up and will definitely come back. Unless Mike leaves. Then I’ll go were he’s at.

Got multiple piercings done. Ben was amazing! and he’s cute! lol So fast and helpful!

Went here for a piercing and Mona is amazing. The process was quick, and wasn’t that painful either. Would definitely go back.

Mona is AWESOME! I have been pierced by Mona once before and this time I went for my nose ring. It was super quick and didn’t even hurt as bad as I thought it would. Mona answered every question I had and also told me to add her on social media so I can keep in touch in case I have questions.
I definitely recommend this shop but more importantly I recommend MONA!!!

I got my nose peirced here and they are amazing. I was scared, not gonna lie but the woman that helped me was very calm and reassuring that everything was gonna be ok.
When you first walk in seems like a really calm, chill place and it is. Everyone there is nice and welcoming. She did an amazing job on my nose piercing. I see and hear a lot of stories were people peirce it in the wrong place. But she got it in the perfect spot. And the best part is that they give you an ice pop after you’re done :)

The owner and his family is a friend from years back. So it was only natural that when I went to get my first tattoo that I would stop by shoot the proverbial poo and have a tattoo done. The owner and his family have been nothing but awesome, the best part is that the same hospitality and friendship is conveyed by the staff.
If you are in the market for a tattoo or piercing and you are in the area I can’t recommend Mystic more than enough. You will be treated better than you could imagine and the work is top notch!

Who got their nose pierced by the awesome Ben today??? This gurl — oh yea! I’ve wanted a nose piercing for some time now and since it’s Christmas time I said what the hell??? Found Mystic via Unilocal (where else?) and gave the shop a call to get info on nostril and septum piercings; two days later I’m in the chair. The shop is VERY clean and they take a lot of care in sterilization. Ben went thru all the details of cleaning and maintenance, cleaned and prepped my nose, told me to take a deep breath and BOOM — all done! I think maybe half a tear formed but didnt drop. He even gave me a blue raspberry ice pop — YAYYYY! Professional with more than a decade of experience and sarcastic sense of humor– what else could I ask for?

My sister and I came into this shop yesterday to each get an inner conch piercing. We didn’t have an appointment, but we decided to stop by. The business has two storefronts– one for piercing and one for tattoos. We went into the piercing side and were impressed by the shop! It was very clean with new-​looking jewelry display cases all around. After looking around a little, we were greeted by Mona who ended up doing the piercings for us. She was great! My sister and I both get queasy when getting piercings (even though we’ve both had piercings and tattoos), but Mona made us comfortable and even gave us ice pops!
They have a deal where you pay for a piercing (and the jewelry) upfront, and then you can come back once its healed and get another piece of jewelry for free. It was ~$ 50-​$ 60 for this deal with the inner conch piercing.

Came in for a conch cartilage piercing about a week ago and I can’t say enough about my experience! Mona is the best! She was super quick and delightful to talk with. I’d seen Mona work before, but I’m still surprised by how (relatively) painless and fun the whole experience was.
My piercing is feeling great, and the cleaning and care instructions they gave me seem to be working well. Mona also answered some aftercare questions via Instagram! Thanks Mona!

I walked in today after one of my coworkers received her first tattoo the day before (can’t remember the artist she had). So I went in after work just to get some pricing on retouching my neck tattoo and on a new piece. After looking through the books, I decided to go with Mike. Luckily he was in and had time to not only go over prices and ideas for my new piece, but he was also able to squeeze me in for my retouching!!! I wanted to add purple committing details, but he convinced me to go with blue. I’m glad that i listened. Super professional, showed me all the new and sterilized equipment. I was in at 4, out by 5:30. I will definitely be back for more of Mikes work, I’ve finally found an artist in MD!!!

This is a great shop and everyone that works there is genuinely nice. My friend & I were never made to feel uncomfortable about the length of time we were there trying to decide what we wanted, how we wanted it, etc. Neither of us were familiar with any of the artists other than the binders they have of their work. I ended up with Phil and I feel so frickin lucky about that. He drew up my original idea and when we sat down to get started I began having 2^nd thoughts about the design and showed him a 2^nd picture I brought of another idea. I asked him what he thought and he said he liked the second one better even though it meant he would have to do a 2^nd drawing of a completely different design. I could tell he had NO problem whatsoever about the change.
I got a wrist tattoo with a lot of intricate detail and he nailed it. It turned out amazing and is by far the best tattoo I have. My friend and I cannot believe the teeny tiny detail he was able to put into it. I also have to mention that Phil is quick & very light handed (not to mention reasonable priced!). I won’t go to anyone else in the future.

Got two piercings, one by Ben and the other by Mona. Both are fabulous!!! Ben is nice and funny and super helpful. Mona is absolutely wonderful and awesome.
Just got a tattoo with Phil. He’s amazing! Super funny, sweet, and talented.
I’ve been to other places, this is by far the best!

The owner was very cool! I got a horizontal tounge piercing and i love it, i go next week to get the balls
