Crofton Classic Pro Shop

This place is absolutely the best Proshop I have EVER been to! Back in the late 90s I had the pleasure of getting my first ball drilled here. The service, price point, knowledge these guys provide is truly top notch. If you’re looking for a place to actually get the right equipment at reasonable prices I’d recommended this place to novice up to tour player. I’ve never had balls fit as perfectly one’s drilled by these pros.

My husband and I just joined a bowling league which is a wonderful change in our routine. Of course, our own teammates have recommended to get our own stuff than using the house balls and whatnots.
Crofton Classic Pro Shop came recommended and we were happy to have follow through with the recommendation!
Mike is the guy you need to see as he was absolutely professional and even allowed you to come in the back and watch him customize your ball. My husband and I are now proud owners of our own ball, bag, and a pair of shoes. We can’t wait to return to our league-​mates and make them green with envy!
I do recommend coming in as soon as the store opens. Otherwise, be prepared to wait for quite some time as the place does get busy especially on a Saturday.
The purchase of the ball (in store) includes drilling and engraving. If you keep your receipt, you can bowl a game for free at the adjacent bowling alley.

Mike and Norbert (owners and operators) are always available to give advice and suggest appropriate equipment. I returned to bowling at age 63 after a 40 year hiatus. As I have a deformed thumb on my bowling hand the fit was difficult and required many alterations. With their help and coaching my average jumped from 120 to 165 in a year. Along the way I also won 2 Maryland USBC tournaments. Amazingly if I wanted to buy the hottest (and most expensive) new ball and it was not what would work with my speed and rev rate they always provided me with a better alternative. If you want quality work, reasonable prices and input from guys who are still putting the customers first Crofton Classic Pro Shop should be your first and only stop!
