I’ve been using Brett for personal training for almost four years. I suffered and injury and was recommended to Brett by my physical therapist. Brett made a custom program tailored to my back issues to help me rehab through. I’ve been with him ever since. Brett attends a ton of conferences on training and injury related training. One of his specialties is in PRI, which is good for me since I have some lower back issues. I appreciate a trainer who keeps up on the newest science in nutrition and exercise. I see a lot of athletes in the gym too. If it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for me. There’s a few MLB players and a lot of high school and college athletes. Having a former MLB trainer on staff helps! Every time we complete a program, Brett goes over what my goals are and creates a custom weight training and nutrition program. He can get as detailed as you would like. I’ve had some programs where he only gives me general food rules to follow and others where, at my request, he gives me exactly what I need to eat and when. I think the general rules are easier to follow though! Brett trains in small groups or can train you individually. He also has some other great trainers that work there. Anjo has been with Brett as long as I’ve been going. I frequently train with Anjo if I have to reschedule my workout and Brett isn’t available then. He also hired a new trainer last year named Jay. I’ve had some training sessions with Jay and he’s great. He used to be a trainer with the New York Yankees! As someone who’s a Yankees fan, that’s a huge plus! I love the flexibility of the gym too. If I need to cancel a workout, I’m always able to reschedule at different time. Also, he always gives you a post workout shake when you’re done so you don’t have to worry about your own. Also, the gym has a shower so you can go right from the gym to work or whatever event you need to. A good trainer is someone you can stay with for years. Most of the clients I workout with have been training with Brett for longer than I have. If you’re considering a trainer, I’d highly recommend Brett, Anjo, or Jay. You can’t go wrong!

I joined e33.5 months ago and very much look forward to my Metabolic Acceleration Classes! Everyone is courteous, friendly, and always willing to help. In addition to the support you get from the trainers, the other members support you as well. And honestly, I have been working out for many years… it’s nice to have a small support group to get you through especially when you are over working out. :) Don’t waste months and years endlessly spinning your wheels and not making the progress you deserve!
