I’m in town for some classes for work and TJ’s is right next door to my hotel. I ate there for lunch and later in the week for dinner it was AMAZING. It’s hard enough to have a decent meal once but two times and ordered different meals. The service and the meals were top notch. Thank you Justin

I’ve been eating here for almost 5 years, and every time I come here I’m always satisfied! Great price, good portions, and awesome quality. Most complaints about Tj’s is because of the bar, but the diner is where its at! Yummm!

Pleasantly surprised by this place! The food is delicious and the servers were extremely friendly and helpful. It’s definitely the place the locals go and it was filled by 6pm. I’ve put it on my list of Oregon restaurants. It’s not easy to find non-chain places on Highway 5. Check it out!

This place is terrible, I ordered breakfast, and there was a hair in my food so I asked if they could make me a new one. the cook said no he can just eat it. his name is Chris. so don’t eat there if he is working. poor management if they can’t have good workers.

My wife and I pulled off the road for a little break, found this little gold mine. My wife had the fish tacos, fries and a cup of clam chowder, and I had a reuben sandwich with clam chowder. The clam chowder was amazing! I loved the way they prepared my wife’s tortillas for the fish tacos, which were very good, and her accompanying fries had a crispy light batter that made them better than average. My Reubens sandwich was very good, prepared with meat that was lean and tasty. Our server, Debra, was very attentive and had a delightful demeanor. We intend to pay them another visit, when in the area!

My family and I drive from Sacramento CA to Portland OR about 3 times a year and we always stop off for dinner around the same time every trip. This time we were just a little bit later and we stopped off at TJ’S Family Restaurant and Lounge. We are now making it a ritual to stop here on every trip to Portland OR. We’ve had from noodles to burgers to meat to wraps everything was delicious. The drinks were very generously made. They’re not worried about conserving alchohol. And the service was excellent. Timely, friendly and made us feel like a local. I would suggest this place to anyone in the area or passing through and we just might hit it know the way home from Portland for lunch…

First time coming to this place and it was great. I had the Chicken Fried stake with eggs and hashbrowns. So good, I love places that serve breakfast all day, my kind of place. Plus if you like sports they have over 12TV’s and a couch to chill out on. Video Poker, Keno and outside seating to boot. A nice place, check it out.

I come here occasionally and personally I think their breakfast food is better than the rest of their menu. Today I got a BLT panini which usually paninis are on baguette or ciabatta bread, this was just normal bread. So not really a panini at all. In the restaurant the service has always been friendly but I don’t think the servers in the lounge are very personable or attentive. I do like TJ’s because of their breakfast menu, but I don’t think it’s anything to write home about.

Last week was our first trip to TJs, and we will definitely go back! The place was clean inside and the service was excellent. The menu is huge and they serve breakfast all day. The open-face hot roast beef sandwich and potatoes & gravy were plate-licking good!

Good eats, usually good service :) Nice place, the food looks nice, tastes delicious, and as long as your willing to pay a little extra– I suggest you give it a shot.

Again we came tonight 8:00pm. Sat in the bar 10 min no one ever came Soooooo we went in the restaurant 2 poor girls running around trying to serve 5 tables. This couple is loosing so much money from their business on dinner because of the lack of management knowing how to run a proper restaurant. It is poor, poor attention to detail. If you want to come a shave a beer and flirt with the non professional waitresses when it is slow ok but if you want to take some out here for dinner. Don’t.

Only place with my favorite beer PUMPKINALE from Elysian. Breakfast food is good and we really like the remodel. The bar side has lots of tv’s for watching football on Sunday’s.

They have re-opened and the experience is way above what it was. This is no longer a greasy spoon for truck drivers. The new prices and furnishings reflect that. I prefer my 3 eateries on the west side of eugene. But at least we made the trip out to creswell.

Be careful when using a card. I had a receipt and signature forged by someone at this restaurant and when speaking to the manager about it, he didn’t care that there is someone stealing from customers. We filed a police report so others may be better protected. For more info see tripadvisor review

Don’t judge a book by its cover… This restaurant is gorgeous inside. Clean, dark hardwood, gray walls with pops of lime green and galvanized barn lights above each table/booth. Historic black and white canvas photos of Creswell adorn the walls. Well done! Food was very good. My husband ordered a Cobb salad. Lettuce was fresh and the toppings plentiful. He probably would have enjoyed a burger more but was trying to eat light. I ordered the TJ’s Scramble. It was served piping hot. The spinach was fresh! It was topped with gorgeous fresh avocado. We will definitely eat here again when we are traveling. The only negatives would be: The loud music(The Doors played on and on). And the outdated exterior.(Their signage and building trim scream early 70s late 60s.) Stop and eat here you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

We stopped by here with the family after a long day and needing a nice meal. While this place is just off the freeway, it’s kind of tucked away behind a building as you come off the ramp. It appears to me to be a locals type of joint. front half is a diner and the back is a bar. From advertising, it’s the local place to hang out and watch various sporting events. For the most part, it’s a decent place to have a meal. Service we got was excellent. Some patrons were greeted by name. Fries are coated and crispy delicious. Had a corn chowder soup at it was ok, but had some herb in it that I didn’t particularly like. Mac and cheese is home made and you can tell that by the texture of the cheese as you eat it. Came with a lot of broccoli on top, too much in my opinion. Had a hot turkey sandwich. It was ok, with deli thin sliced turkey on it. Real mashed potato as the side. Chicken parma Panini was tasty, but slightly greasy. the marinara sauce was very tasty, however if I had eaten the whole thing, heartburn galore, but it was tasty. Overall, a decent place to stop by.

Excellent experience. Small time Diner look and feel. Sports on several tv’s. One page menu with a nice variety. I had chicken breast with pepper jack cheese, delicious green beans and(choice of potatoes) I got fries. The fries are lightly breaded giving them a nice crunch without being«crunchy fries» and delicious. The chicken breast was perfectly cooked. I didn’t have to spend most of my eating time chewing it. Very tender. Overall a wonderful experience with my parents, sister, her husband and 18 month old. I definitely recommend.

TJ’s is a local Creswell hangout. While visiting a friend who lives in town this was our first stop on a night of bar hopping. The place was pretty dead on a Friday night and the crowd that was there were mostly of the older variety. It was odd to me with that crowd that they were playing mostly Top 40(is that still a thing?) music. Sue and I ended up putting some money in the machine and got some good old rock on the box. Jethro Tull seemed to brighten the day of one guy there. Good times.
