My son had a car problem when he was visiting and we took his car to Barrett’s based on the outstanding reviews here on Unilocal.I was a bit skeptical that any repair shop would be worthy of 5 stars. My skepticism was greatly misplaced. Not only did the final bill come in UNDER the estimate but they prioritized the repairs, which saved us a lot of money. They kept us informed and delivered on time and under budget. It is now a couple of weeks later and my son says that his car has never run better. Barrett’s has my business going forward!

Ken Barrett are and his staff are really good at what they do. I live nearby but I didn’t know about Barrett’s until a co-​worker who lived in Louisville recommended him. Since then, we see Ken whenever we have car trouble and we haven’t been disappointed yet. I highly recommend Barrett’s. Great work and fair prices!

While on a trip from Elizabethtown back to Michigan my engine starting making a terrible noise. I started looking for nearby repair facilities and came across Barrett’s. After getting towed there, met with Ken the owner. He quickly diagnosed the problem and within a couple hours I was back on my way home.
I can’t say enough about how well I was treated and how honest and friendly Ken was. If I lived in the area it would be no doubt who my mechanic would be.

I highly recommend Barrett’s for almost any repair work you need on your automobile. The owner, Ken Barrett is a very honest and reliable person and you can depend on him to fix your car right and if not, he’ll make it right. We’ve been taking our vehicles there for the past 10 years and have been very satisfied. He offers specials from time to time. Senior citizens always get a 10% discount on any repair service. He also has a website where you can log on and view your vehicle service history.
