I have mixed emotions about Five Guys. 1. The burgers are fine; above average for fast food. If they knew how to grill the bun a but, they’d be even better. 2. I despise the fries. Sure they taste OK, but I don’t enjoy way too much for a huge order of fries. Does anybody eat the whole order of fries? It’s a waste of food, and a waste of money. 3. Would it kill’em to add Cole slaw so I could pretend I’ve eaten something healthy?

Delicious burgers and fries. Me and my nephew like to go here when we are hungry for a burger and fries. Burgers are actually doubles and the regular fries are more than enough. The peanuts are fun to snack on while you wait too. I highly recommend this place!

Let me start by saying this location is clean and the staff is great. Food cooked right and tastes good. I hadn’t been to Five Guys in a quite a while and came for lunch hour one day. I was surprised at how much it ended up costing for a Burger(unlimited toppings though), regular fries, and a large drink, almost $ 14. I felt like the biggest slob in the world because there is so much grease that I went through napkin after napkin, after napkin, after… ok you get the point. I agree with a previous review that the fries are very generous and really too much for one person in a sitting. Love the free peanuts you can help yourself to while waiting for your food. This is just a poor decision stress eating day food that is only for once in a great while! I’d rather indulge other ways!

Disgusting food… they don’t put salt and pepper on the meat when it is being cooked and they won’t add it… it’s their«thing». however. if you wait until it is cooked to season the meat… it just doesn’t work… also, they don’t have anything for vegetarians…

I love Five Guys. Been eating them all over since they opened. This was the first less than excellent burger I’ve gotten at any of them. Quite simply all three burgers we ordered were over cooked.

There’s no doubt… the burgers are great! Real hamburger meat with no fillers and fresh toppings. The Cajun fries have great flavor, and the amount in a regular order is too much for the average person to eat. The atmosphere is fun. I don’t even mind the price, because you’re not going to get a burger like that at most fast food places. But, the grease… oh my goodness. Understand, I’m not the sort to go to buy a burger or ice cream and then complain about how unhealthy it is. I know what I’m getting… but, seriously I had to wipe off the foil my burger was wrapped in with a napkin! Take a look at the picture I posted. The picture says it all. Even the napkin beneath is saturated. Will I go back to a Five Guys someday? Probably. It’s a good burger!

If you’re looking for a fast but good and filling burger, this is the place to come in Florence. Yes there are other places with good burgers, but the key here is speed. To be in and out in 10 mins with a HUGE burger that tastes great and crazy amount of french fries is not going to happen anywhere else in town.

Okay as a lady if I say I’m have five guys for dinner people might think badly of me but after explaining everyone is always jealous! Even the«little» burger is big, you get oh I don’t know 5 pounds of fries and by the end of it your so happy you happy dance all that off so it’s no big deal. I love five guys and if you’ve never been you have to go! Remember«little» actually means just one less patty then giant!

This place does burgers. No bullshit gimmicks or silliness, just honest to goodness burgers. It’s always fresh and you’ll always have to wait a few minutes.

It’s 925PM on a Saturday evening driving home from Lexington, KY and still have not had dinner. I wanted a fat juicy burger. Not MickeyD or BK or Wendy’s so I took a chance and drove to Five Guys at the Crestview Hills Mall. Parking is great — just walked right in. The place was already empty since they close at 10PM. I make a to-go order for 3 Hamburgers with all the fixings including grilled onions and mushrooms, and fries. I was out of there in about 10 minutes. Wow that was quick! Drove home with the whiff of sweet juicy burgers and French fries in my car. Boy was I getting hungry. Got home and sunk our teeth into some really juicy, mouth-watering, yummy burgers. What a sure way to make all those carbs and calories to stick in all the wrong places — a heavy loaded meal close to bedtime. What the heck. That was awesome! Will surely be back.

Being from California, where In-n-Out Burgers are considered the top, I was looking for a solid burger experience. This place did not disappoint, possibly even beating out In-n-Out due to their awesome french fries. They offer free peanuts while you wait(serve-yourself) and have hot dogs on the menu too. I will be back as often as possible while on the east coast. I’d give this a 4.5 stars if possible. In-n-Out has some serious competition if Five Guys ever makes it to the west coast.

This is one of those places that you’ll enjoy eating at, but hate yourself for later. Keep in mind, I’m a vegetarian, so my experience is limited to the grilled cheese. I do like that they give me the option of getting that, and of adding all the veggies they can add to a hamburger. Also, they will load you up with fries, and you can have all the peanuts you can eat while you’re there. But, oh my, the grease. I think if you left your order in a take-out bag long enough, the grease would eat through it. I doubt a bottle of Dawn dish soap could take the grease out of the way of an order from Five Guys. So in summary, delicious food, horrible stomach pains later. Don’t stray too far from a bathroom.

Delicious! I love this place! Family friendly for sure. A little overpriced… but it wouldn’t stop me from going. Beware of lunchtime– finding a seat is a huge challenge unless you get there right at 11 when they open.

It’s kind of the bane of my existence that a chain could sneak a burger into my top 5 list, but somehow Five Guys managed to find themselves the exception. Now Five Guys has lost enough points for me to knock it in to the four star category for two reasons. First, this food will kill me. It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve had it. This food is like LSD, it will stay somewhere in your body until you die, and thankfully didn’t disqualify me for military service. The grease. The fat. The calories. The taste. The second reason is simple. Like me, some people have difficulty unhinging their jaw in order to shovel more food into their gullet. Let’s just say a double-bacon cheeseburger and fries is about the limit to what I can stuff in my face and still breathe. But thinking about it, I don’t recall a time while eating Five Guys that I’ve ever really cared about breathing. I mean, it’s that good. It’s a really great burger, made better by the fact that I’ve never had an order wrong, and the service is consistently friendly. And I’m talkin’ almost to the point where they’re radically courteous. Locations are clean, kitchens are in eyesight, and the menu is simple. You can get burgers, dogs, fries. Yup, you may not have known this, but that’s all you need. The sad part too, is that this place won’t even kill your wallet. It’s criminal that such a generous portion of cow, and even more generous portion of thick-cut-fries will localize their damage to just your arteries. This place is seriously fucking great.

A couple of years ago while down in Florida, we stopped into this restaurant called Five Guys Burgers and Fries. Never heard of the place then, so I was curious to see how the food was. It was the best burger that I’ve ever had. Fast forward a couple of years, and they said something about the location coming in down by UC Main Campus off of Calhoun St. I immediately wanted to try it again. Time did not allow me to make a side trip to Clifton. One day while running errands in Crestview Hills, I see that a location has just opened there. I try it again. Same amazing burger. I don’t know why, but that place reminds me a lot of Penn Station. Call me crazy, I don’t know why… it just does. I usually get the bacon cheeseburger or just the regular cheeseburger with A-1 sauce, ketchup, mustard, and jalapeño peppers. The good thing about it is that all of the toppings are free, and the burgers are hand pattied. Try it out sometime. It’s the best I’ve ever had(haven’t tried Terry’s Turf Club yet) although a notch above fast food and a notch below table service, it’s a solid choice. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Heard great raves about the burger. It was ok, your typical burger chain joint. I thought it was a bit pricey. Fries came in a paper bag, interesting. I probably need to give the restaurant another chance. I was not that pleased with it. So I am giving this place a 3 star, average.

I am a great fan of Five Guys. Sadly, the stores are hit and miss. This one is a HIT! Their burgers were delicious. The fries… meh…I’m not a huge fan of their fries. I’m really not a fan of their Cajun spices. But, their burger… damn good. I would fully recommend this location over the one in West Chester… because the one in West Chester is gross.

If you like delicious, juicy, grease dripping hamburgers accompanied by large freshly cut deep fried french fries then this is your place. When you first walk in you notice the basic red-white color scheme and boxes of potatoes stacked all over the place. Glass walls allow you to see and observe all aspects of the food preparation — which means the salivation glands go into overdrive while waiting. The food is great and reasonably priced… good value. While not the best hamburger you”ll ever have, it beats the typical fast food burger places by leaps & bounds.

I like Five Guys, but I think it is best eaten with a group because the regular fries, which are quite tasty, are too much for one person and it is hard to get a burger and not get fries! The double patty burgers are filling and the single patty means there’s too much bread for the amount of meat so I find it best to cut it in half, throw away half the bun and double your patty and toppings on the remaining half bun. But I guess my review should be about the place, not how I eat my burger. The staff is nice, although yelling order numbers to pick up your order when you’re only one of three diners is a little much. Despite the few diners, it was still noisy I guess from the music and exposed kitchen? It can be annoying if that kind of stuff bothers you. It is good, although there are other burger places I like more for the price and atmosphere!
