How thin? In the name of expediency and profit, they have changed the Pollo Maria Chicken. No longer do they filet the breast and insert the prosciutto and cheese. Now they just lump it on top. That’s not terrible, except for that you have to hunt for the prosciutto. They have shaved it so thin that it has no taste. Come on Caraba’s! You can do better than this. Fire the person who changed this prep.

Dinner with family at this nice restaurant. Two of us had pizza, and we both raved about it. Took what we couldn’t finish home for lunch the next day. It’s definitely nice to have a pizza that’s not from a cookie cutter pizza joint every now and then. I’ll be looking this place up back home for their pizza in the future.

I generally avoid chain restaurants when I can, but was hangry for some Italian grub. I got the meatball small plate and spicy chicken soup. Thumbs up on the made from scratch sauces. All their sauces, dressing etc are made fresh and on site. You can taste it too. Service was friendly but just a tad slow.

Very good food with a wide variety of options. I recommend the chicken parm but can’t go wrong with anything. Good spot for all ages to eat and definitely the best waitresses and staff in town!

I first have to say I’m not a big fan of chain restaurants so this review should hold even more merit. Carabbas is the best italian in northern kentucky. Their tag pic pac, ciopinno, fettuccine weesie among other entrees are delicious. As for sides and appetizers their chicken Noodle soup, calamari and cesar are also great. To top off the great selection the service is always top notch. Ask for Phil, if he is in expect nothing but the best.

We come here once or twice a year for family meals and it’s usually real good. This year was no exception(2016). For the appetizers we got everything. And everything was good. Not only that it come out promptly. For main course I ordered the linguini white clam sauce. The sauce was delicious and creamy and the clams were delicious. My gripe with this was that the clams came out in their shell, and the shell closed and there was about 15 of them so I had to work for 5 minutes before I could even eat my meal. For dessert I shared the tiramisu and it was light and delicious and full of flavor. Now, for the reason that this review is 3 stars. Everytime we come here and I mean EVERY time the staff is like rushing us to get out as soon as they can. When I’m paying as much as I am for a meal here I like to take my time and enjoy it. It really brings down the quality of the meal when the staff is trying to take away your plate when you’ve only eaten half of it or is rushing you through ordering. The quick of it all: food is great but the service needs to slow down and let people take their time.

The new small plates are great – especially the proscuitto wrapped asparagus. Try them all.

I think this place we pretty good. I don’t eat at a lot of chains, so my expectations were low. Their beer selection wasn’t very extensive, and was only major domestics except for Peroni and another light European beer. Whatever, Peroni will work. We ordered the Arancini for an appetizer. These were basically deep-fried mac and cheese balls, except rice. They were fine, kinda bland and salty but totally edible. I’d probably get a different appetizer last time. We got salads next, caesar and italian. They were also fine and I liked the caesar dressing if I put calorie count out of my mind. For entrees I got the parm crusted chicken arugula and my bf got cavatappi franco. I liked mine, there was a generous arugula salad on top of my chicken, and a grilled lemon which I thought was a nice touch. I got asparagus for a side and it was cooked really well. Everything was kinda salty, but that is to be expected. I wasn’t super impressed with the chicken, though it was prepared well it just seemed more like fried chicken or a breaded chicken nugget texture than I was expecting. My bf liked his pasta but it looked pretty basic(like pasta and some mushrooms, broccoli and chicken in a bowl together). The portions were really big. He and I both saved half to have for lunch the next day. Overall, it was a decent experience and if I’m at the mall or traveling and I saw a Carabba’s, I would go back.

I’m not sure why this location/chain has gotten such bad reviews… I eat here often and it’s never been a disappointment. The food always tastes good, everything is always fresh, the service is always good. I have never had a bad meal or a bad time here. My favorite dishes are the Chicken Bryan(you have to like goat cheese a lot to enjoy this one, in my opinion) with garlic mashed potatoes and the Fettucine Carrabba. Their caesar salad is also a favorite of mine. The only complaint I would have about Carrabba’s is that their prices are much too expensive for what you get. That being said though, the food is consistently good.

Ordered calamari which came out very very dry to the joint it was all batter and no real calamari. Which was a big let down because it is our favorite appetizer. Dinner was OK but nothing impressive.

Absolutely horrible! Very disappointed I would have been better off staying at home with a bottle of Ragu and .99 pasta. And we all know Ragu is the worst!

Came for a lunch business meeting. Lots of holiday parties going on, but not anything that seemed overwhelming, however staff seemed untrained and ill-equipped to handle even simple tasks and appeared constantly stressed out. Also none of the team was smiling, helping one another. Expediter bro(manager?) seemed to be high-fiving the kitchen staff, but no one was supervising the floor. It was like a battle of gladiator servers. It was rather unnerving and ruined the ambiance of our meal. One older female server with dark hair looked like she was going to have a nervous breakdown even though her table party of senior women was calmly greeting one another and had nothing but water and tea. Comically watched one male teen server try to clear a table of a very, very few dishes and it looked like he couldn’t handle it or even unload a dishwasher. The food was and is usually good at this location but was very, very salty. Thus, I drank my tea quickly. It got to the point that I had to stop eating as I was choking on the salty calamari, salty steak and really needed another refill and no servers were on the floor. Manager never came by, no one was around. Our millennial server(wearing tight pants 3 sizes too small, giant cell phone hanging out of her back pocket unprofessionally, long red braid) had a huge party at another table and because we were a two top we were ignored for 2⁄3 of our meal. She didn’t come back to us to refill the tea until her big party left and it was pretty obvious. She also seemed to have a problem with professionals and was argumentative and condescending with me over a very simple request for a salad instead of a side order of heavy carbs. She made waaaay too big a deal of how it was going to be $ 2 more for a salad instead of the heavy garlic potatoes. She later insulted me and argued with me over the tea refill request to the point it embarrassed me in front of my business partner who I was treating to a holiday lunch. When she brought another set of teas(that I hadn’t even asked for) she slammed them down on the table and startled me… thought she was going to punch me. Very passive aggressive, mean girl behavior and totally unwarranted. Although the food was reasonably good, I was disappointed in how I was treated by their server staff and it will be a long, long, long time before I come back. This location needs to hire better people or an HR consultant.

Tried their lunch take out, as I had a coupon. Was able to order online and pick up within 15 mins, although order wasnt ready by promised time. Food was good, I got the lunch combo with small plate stuffed mushrooms(couldve devoured a LARGE plate of these) with really good dipping sauce. The Caesar salad had awesome dressing, and the spicy chicken soup was ok. Love the bread which they included a generous amount of along with olive oil/herb dipping sauce. Will def return for more lunch combos in the future as it costs probably the same amount as a fast food value meal for an actual DECENT meal.

It’s an okay restaurant and the food is pretty good. The service was okay, although a couple of times it took a bit for our waitress to come back, but I think she may have been overwhelmed with tables. But whenever I go, I often feel that they tend to be overpriced for what is received. While I don’t dislike it, I don’t go out of the way to go there either.

The service and food were both good, but it gets 3 stars as the quality doesn’t match the high prices. And, the ambiance could have been a little better to match the prices. But, overall the meal was enjoyable. I got the tag pic pac with chicken and it was a decently large meal and the sauce was flavorful and tasted fresh. The lunch deals looked like a great value. And, there is call ahead seating to shorten the wait time.

PRICINGHASINCREASED, QUALITYHASDECREASED! I was craving Carrabbas tonight but unfortunately I will never crave it again. I was very disappointed. Ty, the owner, is scary and down right mean and the server Chelsey has an attitude problem. The food quality was a step above a cafeteria. I cannot believe that this place has gone so down hill. Save yourself the money and disappointment and eat somewhere else!!! Ty threw me out of the restaurant AFTER taking my money and refusing to return it and threatened to call the cops just because I asked for the corporate headquarter number. My son was in complete and utter SHOCK!!! I plan to report this immediately!!!

My boss and I flew through the Cincinnati airport for a work conference in Erlanger, and decided to grab some dinner at Carrabba’s. There was a short wait for inside seating, but we decided to go with outside dining because there was no wait and it was a nice evening. We were immediately greeted by our waitress who was friendly and prompt. She recommended a few different dishes. We ordered the goat cheese & pomodoro bruschetta appetizer, which was GREAT. It was creamy and fresh and I would highly recommend it. In addition, both my boss and I ordered an alcoholic beverage. I ordered the blackberry sangria, which was fantastic. It was light and refreshing and the perfect drink after a day of travel. For dinner, I ordered the Cavatappi Formaggi with chicken and I would highly recommend it for anybody who is hesitant and unaware of what certain Italian dishes are. It was just spiral pasta with an alfredo cream sauce and four different cheeses, paired with grilled chicken. It was very filling but delicious. Again — HIGHLY recommend this location and thank you for the great service!

I had never had any reason to come here because I never knew what they actually served! When my dad suggested a chain Italian place, I was skeptical at first. But wow, this place is great! The calamari has a really different, awesome flavor to it, as well as delicious dipping sauces. The chicken bryan is just as good as everyone says it is, and my dad loved his chicken cutlets. Fantastic service, very prompt with a lovely server. The place isn’t very pricey, but the restaurant manages to create a higher class environment that made a night out with my dad very nice. You certainly get your money’s worth, since most plates come with a decent sized, very yummy salad and a generous amount of sides.

Overall the food is good. Servers are responsive. Good comes pretty quickly. Can be a wait to get a table but they do offer to add you to the wait list online. I love the shrimp and scallops spiedino. The zucchini appetizer is pretty tasty with the garlic aioli.

Service was horrible on a Sunday night food was just sub par for the prices! And the drinks were watered down. I understand with a a different server the experience would be different. But that doesn’t change the rest of the evening.

People may bash this place because of the chain, but it’s one of my wife and I’s favorite restaurants. We consistently get a meal that we are very happy with. We absolutely love the Spiedino di Mare with the wood-fired scallops and shrimp. The lightly breaded and lemon butter sauce is so good! If you get it, get angel hair pasta on the side with the lemon butter on the pasta as well. Perfect combo. Then with it, we usually get the Sirloin Marsala. The mushroom marsala sauce is outstanding. We always pair these two dishes together and are happy. We’ve tried a few others(chicken bryan) is good, but these are our go to’s. We usually have outstanding service, and we have one server who we’ve seen for years. However, on our last visit(our anniversary), we had a new server. He was polite and nice, but he botched our order pretty bad. We had the wrong side. Only one wine glass for a while. And, we ordered the sirloin marsala with a crab cake, which didn’t come out until we had finished the meal. Fortunately, the manager asked how our meal was. We politely let him know that it was a little out of order — not their best effort. He promptly corrected the bill and also gave us a dessert to go. We don’t normally complain, but on our anniversary, we expect a bit more. It was nice that the manager took care of business right away. But, that was a rarity. We love this place, and we know we’re going to get a good, consistent meal that we both love!
