Delicious food, super-cozy atmosphere, and very friendly service. Highly recommend!

Went on valentines day. Made a reservation a week im advance. We show up on time and was given a absolutely horrible table. Next to the front door on a freezing night. Empty tables everywheee but this is where we were placed. First, the service. Slow isn’t the word. They were nice enough but incredibly slow. Forgot to give us napkins or silverware after our food came we mentioned this(I ordered steak. ill get to that) it took ten minutes for her to bring a butter knife. After I asked for a actual steak knife five more minutes. By the time I could eat the food was ice cold. Now the food. It actually made me and my date sick. Absolutely terrible. The steak taste worst than waffle house. The cheapest meat I have ever eaten. Pretty bad considering the price. My date had the chicken. It was pink on the inside. Was not worth the time to complain. Simply because I didn’t have another 15 minutes to wait. Will never ever be back.

Oh so good! Went casual with some tapas and a spinach salad. Best spinach salad we have ever had. The Toad Hallow chard is a must with your evening. Javier was our waiter and really took care of us. Really great experience overall.

Wow! What an amazing little place! And in Northern KY too?!? Who would’ve thought??? Argentine Bistro is a quaint and elegant dining experience that would be perfect for a date night or just to catch up with a friend. The décor is very nice and not too stuffy. It has a lot of natural lighting and Heather is a wonderful server. I’ve only been twice for lunch but I was blown away both times. The ropa Vieja was very good. Meat was a little too salty for my taste but it had an awesome house made sauce that was creamy yet refreshing. Even better was the beef ravioli. One Gigantic Hand-made ravioli pasta with a very tomato-ey sauce and a little South American spin. The Ravioli was al dente and packed with beef! The flavorful beef really helps neutralize the acidity of the sauce and brings out a more savory experience. Can’t wait to try their dinner menu!

The place is very nice, you get the feeling of being in an antique house. The food was ok. Some dishes were deliciuos like the empanadas, chimichurri and salads(lets be honest how difficult is to prepare a salad) other dishes like the mushroom ravioli are better at Kroger! The main problem is the menu, first off there is no printed price for the beverages, so you will be wonder how much you will pay for a coke or and ice te, actually if you choose a flavored one it will come with an extra surprise charge. The second thing is that the prices are not the same in the menu and in the check! Example: the lasagna in the lunch menu is 16 but in the check it is 18, when we asked about it, the told us that it was a mistake in the lunch menu that the correct price was 18. No apologies, no refund! Is not that illegal?

Friendly service and great dining experience. We had salads with salmon on one, chicken on the other and somehow saved room for dessert. Delicious, organic and gluten free, what more could one ask for?

Subtle, classy ambiance. Live musician was great. Baked Brie with strawberry jam on top was delicious and perfectly warm and melty. My girlfriend had the salmon and it was fresh and cooked just right. I had the Chicken Saltimbocca, and though I could barely taste the ham the chicken pinwheel was cooked perfectly and the bed of green beans, roasted potatoes, sundried tomatoes, and capers was bright and addicting.

This was my second visit, I enjoyed both times good wine and tapas. Humus is a nice large portion, date and bacon filled dough, beef on a stick and good wine. Waitress was attentive BUT the smell of burn oil gets you as soon as you walk in the door. My clothes and coat the next day still smell from the oil, same thing happened on my previous visit also. Food was great, as was the wine, but I look forward to returning in the summer when I can sit outside and not come home with burn oil ‘perfume’ on my clothes, ugh.

I stopped in for the first time today with my wife cause I wanted to try something new and different. I got the argentine panini with salt n pepper chips. The roast beef was very tender and it was a perfect portion size. The cheese that comes on it is amazing. I now have a craving for salt n pepper chips. I had a caramel coffee drink which was off the charts. It was very fresh. My wife had stopped here before but this was my first time. I was very happy with my service and I will back again

I dropped in about thirty minutes before e closing and the gracious staff didn’t rush me. I was impressed with the expansive tapas menu and settled on the crab cake and a serving of Brussel sprouts. Both were delectable and the Brussels sprouts were especially tender and flavorful. The crab cakes had lots of lump crab meat. Matt and Heather(although she was off the clock) were extremely gracious. I’ll definitely return since the service was impeccable and customer-focused. I could tell Matt was exhausted but he still put forth the effort to ensure I had a great dining experience.

Where are the empanadas? Where is the Choripan? Where are the Milanesas? Where is the ensalada mixta or pizza con faina? Your food is not Argentine. You can’t just add some Chimichurri and call it Argentine. Your food would be better described as French fusion cuisine. I’m Argentine, and I wanted some Argentine food, but what you have is not Argentine food. Don’t mislead people.

White table cloth tops. Live music on Friday plus $ 5 martinis. If you like smoky and flavorful, have the Ropa veijo– other dishes are good but don’t pop. Needs more Argentina– but is a well run outfit. Ask for the tapas menu. Brie with quince rocks! Try the different martinis! Had three: all were good and fresh. Looking forward to a new menu coming soon!

I visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. I saw a sign about«today’s specials» and they were from the day before. No one bothered to change them or even offer the price difference. I ordered the chicken puff dish. It was decent but mostly tasted like a soup with a pastry sitting on top. I had the carrot cake for dessert which was pricey, considering it tasted like it was sitting in the refrigerated case for a while. The entire bistro had one waitress who seemed disinterested the entire time. She clearly did not want to be working and I mostly felt like I was bothering her by eating there. The food is too expensive for tasting average. The service is highly lacking. How has this place survived the rent in Crestview Hills for so long? Not going back.

This is more of a sophisticated dining experience. Do not let that stop you though. I go in all the time in boots and a cardi. They are really sweet people and will answer any queation you might have. The owner’s daughter is gluten frre as well So many of their dishes are naturally gluten free. Better still is that many of their desserts are made with almond or rice flour! My favorite is their carrot cake!

Went with my wife & two friends the other night, since none of us had been there before, we tried everything off each other’s plates. The almond-crusted salmon & lasagna were absolutely exquisite. The bacon ravioli appetizer was fantastic(the humas was enjoyable as well), and the chicken hash was tasty as well. Even the desserts(tiramisu & crème brûlée) were top-notch. Huge thumbs up for the best dining out experience I’ve had in two years.

Taking a break on a Wednesday night to taste some wine and enjoy friends and dinner. We started the evening at DEP’s in Fort Thomas for their Spanish wine tasting. Big shout out to DEP’s for these events, I really enjoy them. I also enjoyed the Italian tasting and to be truthful, I would attend any tasting they host! It’s a lot of fun. We headed over to Crestview Hills to check out Argentine Bistro. I had a Living Social voucher(don’t you love Living Social and Groupon)? We finally found it tucked in a back corner of the mall and everyone was hungry! When we first walked in my immediate reaction was it was a very cute and cozy place and then I realized it was completely empty. I’m not sure why that bothers me but it makes me question why? Is it the food or the service? It’s always better to walk into a bustling restaurant because it makes you feel like you are a part of something. However, we decided to stay and see for our self. The server was wonderful and couldn’t have done a better job. She was efficient, friendly and gave us the right amount of space to enjoy. The food on the other was a disappointment. I ordered Lori’s Lasagna which sounded amazing. Roasted eggplant, zucchini, artichokes and spinach. Unfortunately I thought it was just ok. I wander if the emptiness of the place influenced my perception because to me it seemed that the food was not fresh. Tom ordered the special which was a pork chop and he didn’t seem to love it or hate it. We also ordered the empanadas and sadly I wasn’t thrilled with them either. I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately I didn’t. The sad thing for local restaurants is that it is a tough business. Most people won’t give a place a second chance so you really have to get it right the first time! Red Pearl

Been here a few times and have been consistently underwhelmed. In concept, I like it: a locally owned bistro with a new focus on local and seasonal, but it fails in execution. Despite only having a parking lot view, the patio is pleasant. The interior feels like it was staged to look like a grandmother’s house – lots of knick-knacks on heavy furniture – but somehow still feels generic vs. truly homey. On my most recent visit, I got the«Chicken Puff Pie» which turned out to be a shallow bowl of mostly gravy with a puff pastry square perched on top. A selling point of the dish was that it promised the use of organic chicken, but the amount was so scanty(maybe 2 small chunks) that I don’t think it even qualified to be highlighted. I was feeling unsatisfied after my entrée, so splurged on a piece of carrot cake for dessert, which was utterly disappointing. The texture was the worst I’ve ever had – grainy, mealy, and wet – I think it may have been sitting in the dessert case for more than a few days. And then I saw the $ 8 price tag for the one small slice and was mad all over again. I’ve had slightly better experiences in the past, so averaging the review out at 2 stars overall. One more note for Unilocalers who check-in via the app – there was a 10% coupon when I checked in, but they had no idea what it was and gave me kind of hard time about it.

My wife and I tried this place for lunch yesterday and we were quite pleased. We started with a cup of the butternut squash soup and it was excellent. For the main course my wife ordered the grilled cheese and I had the Argentine Panini, and both were excellent. The grilled cheese came on fresh panini bread with Brie and an apple compote. The Argentine panini was very tasty, and I thought the aioli and roasted red pepper were nice compliments to the warm sandwich. For lunch, this is one of the better places that I have tried in the Fort Mitchell area. I will update my review after trying dinner!
