Wow what a let down! Waitress so tired she has to sit at booth to take order really!!! My. Wife ordered the steak dinner she love it. I ordered the spaghetti and meat balls big mistake HUGE! They ran out of noodles so they compensated with a huge piece of breaded veal which taste like the freezer. The meatballs were so blan I could not get myself to eat any of it. pretty much loss my they sent home a free piece of pie. Nothing like having pie for dinner. So if your hungryfind another resturant! Just sayin!

As an out-of-towner, this was the first time I’ve had a chance to visit since Jayne retired and the restaurant opened under new management. The breakfast was tasty, everything was perfectly cooked, over-easy eggs were perfectly done and the home fries were crispy but not greasy. My husband’s omelette was tasty. The service was attentive and my coffee cup was kept filled. The décor was fresh and clean, featuring chickens and a country theme. This is a hometown restaurant and a welcome change from the other restaurants in Crestline, which are mostly of the fast-food, chain variety. The restaurant seemed to be a little overstaffed as we counted 7 employees for about 14 customers on a Sunday morning. I hope either the business picks up or they manage more tightly, as I would love to see this unique place succeed in a sustainable way for the residents of Crestline to have a quaint and charming dining spot.

Jaynes closed recently for a while and just reopened this week. The décor has changed slightly from the flags to a country motif. I was very unimpressed. The tables were sticky, the sauces on the table were old even though they had just reopened, it took a VERY long time to get our food and some of it was not even what we ordered. The food tasted okay, as was the service, but NOTUPTOPAR.

The décor is a stunning collection of flags, photos and other memorabilia honoring our nations heroes. America as it should be.

Wasn’t very impressed. The place is nice and roomy with plenty of seating, and easy to find. I went with my hubby on a Sunday around 11AM for some breakfast. The breakfast menu is limited, with a focus on eggs and breakfast meats, but they have pancake and biscuits too. I ordered a classic: 2eggs, 2pancakes, and 2sausages, plus I added hashbrowns. They cooked everything as ordered, and the service was really great. Waitress was awesome with the drink refills. The food came out fairly quickly. It wasn’t very busy, which was surprising for a Sunday(we must have beat the church crowd). The food was just alright. Everything was rather plain. The pancakes were very flabby and salty tasting — not good at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place for their breakfast fair. As a health nut, I will say that I felt the food wasn’t excessively greasy or butter laden, which was a nice change. Otherwise, I felt like the food was just bulk from a supplier and nothing special. The inside of the restaurant was quaint with cool family pictures and old pictures from what I assume are local places. The prices were reasonable. I’d be interested in trying dinner here some day, but wouldn’t come back for breakfast. Overall, I wasn’t impressed. It was a nice change of pace but average at best.

I LOVE Jane’s… The food is good and not expensive. The people that work there are ALL nice! I personally love the Reuben and their gourmet burgers, but there’s a lot that is well worth a try! Plenty of room for groups too…

This is small hometown place, in of all things a small hometown. The menu is mostly sandwiches and burgers, but there are some dinner options. Special of day on Saturday was bbq ribs. I got a Philly cheesesteak and a side of Mac&cheese. The sandwich was nice tender meat, plenty of pepper and lots of cheese. But the trip was worth the Mac & cheese, two words baked and cheddar. Nice cheeses sauce none of this tastes like in case from box. They also served a decent spaghetti with lots of meat in sauce. Good service. Nice sized place. Old pictures surround the walls and two flags decorate place. Flags are from flight 93 memorial and MArez, iraq
