Went there on my lunch and wanted a couple hotdogs. I asked if there was a special for 2 and old hag behind counter told me no special for 2 but had a special for 3 didn’t want 3 but after she rang up 2 it was 1 penny cheaper than 3 hotdogs. I said WTF. Why didnt the old nasty hag say something and she said it was me fault I can’t read the menu. I asked her to get me another hotdogs for a penny and it said it couldn’t do it now cuz register was closed. What a rip off. I say stay away. Cold gotdogs, overcooked fries, and rotting tomatoes. Looks like she has some kinda sickness with her dirty shirt, droopy eye, bad breath, and nasty skin.

The good? They have an extensive menu.
Fries are pretty good & free with every meal. The bad?. GREASE! The philly cheese had no cheese and full of grease. Hot dogs seemed greasy & didnt feature poppy seed buns. Id recommend staying away. This place was much better when it was Joes hot dogs. Icky-​bad

You want Chicago style Hot dogs and Polish heck all there food is great and the prices are the same and please don’t tell me that the hotdog stand in Joliet on 6 corner’s is Chicago style because I beg to differ and it’s not come here

Terrible service the old lady at the front counter has manner issues and should be put on frys. The food is greasy and mediocre at best and nothing to wow about. If your around take your business else where this place is horrible there’s a reason for why they have a different owner at the end of every month. Negative 3 stars

This place has all the makings of a good hot dog stand. That is the good news. Bad news is they need better employees. I ordered 4 Chicago style dogs. While im waiting for my order i see the cash register girl go back to the guy making the dogs ang hear her say «you can’t do that“then she looks me square in the eye and looks away like i just busted her on something. I didn’t hear what he did so i just brushed it off. I get home with the food and my daughters hot dog was cold and not cooked at all in fact none of the dogs where cooked. I guess that was what the counter girl was referring to. But they sent me home with the un cooked dogs anyway. One star for that mess.

Classic Chicago Style Hot Dog stand! Great menu with everything you would expect at a place like this. All sandwiches come with fries and the dog I order was perfect! Prices are great! Two can eat here for about $ 10!
Seating is limited with stools along the windows or outdoor benches. Great spot for chicago style eats!

Went to pick up for take out the staff is super friendly. The food was great. Ordered for 15 people for a take out and every single item was as it was ordered. The food was Yummy. I have ate here before too but first time under new management and I got to tell you it was the best experience. Sorry but i disagree with the first review. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! You have got to try it…

HORRIBLE. It is now called «Taste Chicago» under new owners. Loved getting a real beef sandwich here with sweet and hot peppers… dipped. Ordered this under new management and recv’d a plain beef because he said he didn’t understand my request. Asked that he add sweet and hot peppers. added the hot and then when I took a bite, I bit into a sugar coated green pepper and ice cold beef in the middle. I was disgusted. It was a joke. STAY AWAY!!! I put this on the previous listing after they «re-​opened» and now there’s a new listing for it. Just wanted to make sure everyone in the area was away how terrible this place was and that this review didn’t get lost — old owners should come back and teach them how to run the place.
