8 mi. north of Crescent City off of Hwy. 101 — go out Kings Valley Road, and look for «Costal Access» road. The beach is a favorite for dune buggies, etc. It is VERY WINDY and is not good for swimming (directly on ocean, not a bay). Usually lots of driftwood.
