So you’ve got a craving for LOCAL goodies and you need a prescription? Skip the big box nightmare and SHOP LOCAL at Phred“s. Everything from local fresh eggs and dairy products to incredible locally produced fudge (Warning: HIGHLY ADDICTIVE) to Calise bread products to Warwick Ice Cream’s Autocrat Coffee Milk Ice Cream and a whole lot more I’ve forgotten about.
All while your Prescription is filled quickly, correctly and by a Pharmacist who smiles and is happy to speak with you if you choose to seek more information or have a question. Far from the robot-​like big box chain pharmacists. And if you’re a regular customer, it’s comforting to know your healthcare needs are in the hands of their highly experienced staff rather than an ever-​changing bunch of temps and exceedingly short-​term employees. Check Phred’s website and you never know what wonderful goodies await you.

Wow, visiting the chain pharmacies it is easy to forget what a difference going to an independent drugstore makes. While the chains have some friendly people, at this drug store they learn their customers’ names and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Prices here are competitive with the chains, so don’t assume it will cost you more to shop here. What they don’t do is inflate their prices then give you «value bucks and rewards» to make you think that paying what an item should sell for is a great deal.
When visiting RI I often come here to pick up my mom’s perscriptions. Special kudo’s to the pharmacy staff who are really exceptional!
