I live in the village, and I’ve been trying to find a new breakfast spot ever since Waters Edge closed a few weeks ago. The Elephant Room down the street is delish, but crepes every weekend does not make for a healthy diet, so I decided to venture a bit further. I had been to Little Falls in the past and was less than impressed, but after reading several glowing reviews here, I figured I’d give it another shot… and now I remember why I haven’t gone back in a while. In one word, Little Falls is this: unremarkable. There’s nothing, to me, that sets their food aside from something I could have made at home. I ordered a simple ham, egg and cheese sandwich with sharp provolone on a rosemary bagel. When I returned home and unwrapped the sandwich, I found the bagel was toasted to blistering point, and the sandwich was left whole, rather than cut in half. a small thing, but I’d rather not have a whole sandwich worth of grease dripping while I’m eating… plus, aren’t sandwiches just better when there’s two halves? Despite this, I was excited for what I hoped would be a nice flavorful breakfast… after all, a rosemary bagel? sharp provolone? ham that looked like it was sizzled on the grill for a moment? There should be some flavor here… but after the first bite, I found myself retreating to the refrigerator for ketchup and Franks Red Hot. Of all the breakfast I’ve «taken out» from around the village, I try to avoid adding any unnecessary condiments. Typically the food is tasty enough that it has all the right flavors and doesn’t need doctoring… but not today, not from Little Falls. I had been foiled again. And now I’m left sipping my large coffee — The Village Brew. Not terrible, but just like the bagel sandwich, I’ve had better

Went to little falls for breakfast one day and liked the atmosphere but wasn’t delighted with the customer services. When my friend asked what kind of bagels they had, they simply responded with a lot and stated off the obvious sesame, everything and plain. My bacon egg and cheese on a croissant was alright but the croissant could have been lighter and crispier. I don’t drink coffee so I cannot comment on that but they did have a good juice selection. I would come back because everybody has their day.

I love this place. After moving into a new office location, some coworkers and I found this hidden gem. Their coffee is amazing, and they’re the only place I found that has delicious decaf flavored coffee that doesn’t use those gross flavor shots. The staff are super friendly and always try to learn the names and usual orders of regulars. They even bought a box of stevia after seeing me bring my own every day and told me to make sure I stop using my own! The pizza is amazing, salads and sandwiches too. Awesome place overall!

Food and staff are great. The have breakfast and lunch options and it’s right down the street from my house. Here’s the thing. It’s a café type place and it’s not relaxing at all. It can be stressful to be in there. It’s usually packed and is a small space but the biggest complaint I have is the ordering/paying process. They take your order and then you pay afterwards. It clogs everything up and it would be so much easier to have one transaction and be in my way. It may sound ridiculous but It stops me from going in. That being said the people, food, and coffee are great. Needs a little furniture rearranging and pay and order at the same time and is be in there 3 times a week.

Can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Was looking for something quick on a Sunday morning and my man brought me here… What a nice surprise! I was pumped to see the Maui coffee on the menu and the girl at the register was like ohh I bet you want a shot of espresso in it… Why yes, yes I do! I initially picked something on the regular menu but shortly after realized they had breakfast sandwiches with low carb bagels– made my whole day. 2 speciality coffees and 2 breakfast sandwiches totaled 16 bucks. Excellent cheap Sunday treat. Will be back many times. Thanks for superb service and food!

Spent $ 7.50 on a sandwich today. It was wrapped when I received it and the entire sandwich was burnt when I got home to eat it. What the heck? I am posting a photo so others can see too. Look in the photos for the burnt sandwich. The employee of little falls that made my sandwich knew it was inedible and wrapped it up anyway. Remember when it was Baked Expectations? That would never have happened. Never. We’ve been going this place for 20 years and it’s hit or miss but this lands it squarely in the avoid at all costs. No regard for the money I worked for to buy this sandwich. Don’t. Spend. Your. Money. Here. It clearly is not appreciated. What a bummer.

Please know from jump, I give it three stars for things not related to the quality of the products or the service. Both are lovely. I really wish I could like this place better, but read on. Ok, so what’s up with the three stars? Well, the place is about the size of a walk-in closet. There is only one walking path from the front door to the counter with tables on either side that you can’t really navigate around to avoid going backwards against the line to try and get out. It’s so tightly packed I don’t recommend bringing a large purse or backpack inside; you’re bound to hit someone or knock something over. It’s just too tightly packed for me, even if I’m just in and out to get a coffee. There is some seating outside, but with all the foot traffic on the streets it’s still not very relaxing or functional. Maybe it’s because I get anxious with the lack of space, but I find the menu hard to navigate and with a line of people behind me(often spilling out into the street) I feel pressure to get in and out. Never from the staff — they are all sweethearts. But it’s just too much hustle and bustle for me. The menu could benefit from being written in a clearer manner with categories all in a clear and central location. There’s a lot of mini-menus here and there and I swear they don’t have a full menu up for display. I see items I have never seen on a menu. There’s no bathroom in aware of, and I could never imagine sitting down to relax inside. I’m a tiny person(5’1 and 110 lbs) and I still struggle to fit myself comfortably inside the shop. Ok, so why do I go back? The staff are so nice and the coffee and food are great. I live in the Village, and I love the other coffee shops as well, and sometimes it’s nice to have variety in my Java. I may not be a regular, but it’s definitely an option. They do a fantastic business, the shop is always bumping. Hopefully one day they can expand and create more space. It is kind of out of their hands I believe, unless a neighboring shop leaves, but it’s just a shame such a lovely place with great people has to be so uncomfortable to be in. But definitely stop in, especially if it’s quiet — you won’t regret the service or the coffee!

Everyone was so friendly and quick! I got a hot latte which tasted perfect. Met with a friend to talk and were able to sit down and chat, drinking our coffee without any interruption by others. Very clean and cozy inside. Was nice and quiet and a great place for a quick get together!

So disappointed. I haven’t been here in a while. I went in for a Muffin and coffee. There were flies all over the muffins and pastry case. When I spoke to the cashier I said in a whisper you have flies all over your pastry and her response exactly was, «we do the best we can» and continued to wait on others. I was so astonished at her lack of concern. She didn’t even try to swat them away. I am All set and sad that this happened. That is my last visit to this establishment.

Great little coffee shop tucked away in Pawtuxet Village. Last time I was here I decided to go with a «low carb» Everything Bagel. «Low Carb» and«Bagel» are oxymorons, and I wasn’t sure what to expect(maybe along the lines of a piece of cardboard?) I was wrong. It actually tasted like a regular bagel. Iced coffee selection is great, and the flavored coffee selection is good– brewed and not syrup flavored, which is just the way I prefer my coffee. Service is good and every time I’ve been there, the place has always been packed. Next time I’m in the area I will be sure to stop by again.

Pros: FABULOUSCOFFEE… they serve Mills coffee roasters which I believe is local and I will drive out of my way to get it! I also like that it’s self serve. The food… everythings great, the sandwiches, soups, baked goods and they have some of the best bagels around. I’ve heard they have low carb bagels which I haven’t tried. The staff is friendly and accomodating parking is usually available on the street close by Cons: the space is a bit cramped and the arrangement of tables/chairs seems like it needs to be rethought. The menu is a bit hard to see and you kind of have to get in other peoples way in order to figure out what you want to order. Then, once you do, there no good spot to stand to wait for it. The scallion cream cheese… don’t order it. I love flavored cream cheeses but this is just regular cream cheese with freeze-dried scallions sprinkled on top. My love for Little Falls’ coffee, service and food greatly outweigh the almost«nit-picky» things that I don’t like about it. So you have to shimmy out of the way when it gets crowdy? no biggie. It’s a great little café.

Living fairly close to Little Falls Bakery, I want to like them. I really really do. But slow service, lukewarm coffee and overpriced quiche in tiny portions do not encourage repeat visits. I’ve tried this place a few times and have always been a little nonplussed. I am especially disappointed with the ever-present promise of gluten free baked goods that has yet to be fulfilled. Sigh. I would love my own«local», but, alas, the search continues.

Enjoyable comfy cozy café in Pawtuxet village. It is quite small inside so come before the rush! It’s counter service and the staff are always sweet. It can be a little discombobulated in line due to space issues but the staff will get to you. They offer an assortment of baked goods– muffins, scones(some very unique combos) and bagels. I love the spinach filo dough pockets– I don’t think that’s the correct term. They are super tasty and run out fast! Coffee is delicious! Self serve for hot and they have rotating flavors for the iced. They have outdoor seating in the summer too. A very sweet spot to visit in pawtuxet village :)

Great cup of coffee, many different flavors available. Great breakfast and lunch they always have great choices of bagels in the morning I am a big fan of the spinach bagel. Haven’t tried them out for lunch but stopped in one late morning and the aroma was incredible, not sure what they were making but everything behind the glass looked delicious. The staff very accommodating to my many questions and all were very friendly.

This has been my village bakery space since I was born. Formerly Baked Expectations under the Bedrosian family, Little Falls has come into its own. A wonderful baked menu of scones and croissants, tasty breakfast sandwiches, a great variety of coffee and tea selections, the classic thin crust pizza from the square tray style, great sandwiches. There’s also a pleasing rotating art on display by local artists. The owner cares about the community, such as participating above and beyond some other local Pawtuxet Village merchants in the Gaspee Day Parade. It’s a draw because the space has been a café and pizzeria for more than 2 decades, and locals know it’s a hub to stop by, maybe hop on some wifi, and catch up with friends. You’re bound to run into someone from Edgewood/Cranston/Warwick here during a visit.

So… maybe it was all the rave reviews I’ve read that made me a little disappointed? It’s extremely cramped for space and I feel like it’s a little chaotic with all the newspapers, flyers, bulletin boards, etc but as strange as this may sound I think that might be part of its charm? However, the looks from the café area makes me wonder what it looks like behind the counter… hmmph My friend and I ended up sitting outside on their patio/sidewalk seating with our large Turtle Iced Coffees. The coffee was good, although I t I would venture to get something different next time. The pizzas looked good and there is a $ 3.00 off check-in deal available on a large pizza although I was informed they only serve large pizza’s on Friday’s. I also noticed they have bagels and lox so I will be back.
