2 Tomatoes Pizza, Bakery & Subs

very sad that they have been closed for over a month now. i loved all their food. they could have told us they were closing since i ordered the day before. at first i thought they went on vacation but its been over a month now

I love their pizza but why did they close? Haven’t been open since the end of January.

Omg!!! This is my all time favorite pizzeria EVER!!! I moved to Edgewood/​Cranston almost 2 yrs ago and found this place by happenstance on Grub Hub and immediately fell in love…
But NOW??? It seems they may have closed and I am lost without them-​I prefer square/​rectangular pizza and I cannot find anyone that delivers…
I wish the company would have at least given us fair warning…

Once again Unilocal has saved the day in «discovering» a «new» pizza place. It helps to read this if you «» (air quotes) along with me. Conditioned to stick to a handful of local pizza shops between Johnston/​Cranston/​Coventry/​W. Warwick area was really getting old. Good location yet not one that I regularly pass by. Now that I know where to find it, there will not be any passing by without stopping there first.

As a curiosity I started out with a medium pizza and a medium sub to cover for three people. Mission accomplished. They also solved the mystery of what was breakfast the next day. Service was very friendly. I could tell by the smell upon entering that bad habits would develop if I stayed around long enough. While the first order was not the most adventurous, they have enough selections for all size appetites. So, go now! Unless you’re reading this past their hours…

My favorite place to order takeout in Cranston. From pizza to sandwiches to dessert, EVERYTHING is fresh and delicious. This is my «go to» spot for pizza. The best! I have ordered an Italian grinder here numerous times and its always on point. The owners are extremely friendly no matter how busy and crazy this place can get. I wish they had seating because there has been numerous times I wanted to stay and eat. I also wish they were open on Sundays! Definitely check this hidden gem out… you won’t regret it!!!

need to update my review. still 5 stars!!! My new favorite is the white pizza… loaded with garlic, olive oil and cheese. If you like a thick pizza crust, this is the best!!! Thanks Patrick and Meg!!!

I ordered a large steak and cheese with provolone cheese, onions and mayo. I didn’t get any of that on my sub. It was just plain as can be and dry. I called to get this resolved and was told by the cook yelling in the background he put that on my order and then the guy on the phone gave me a attitude and told me «Well, what do you want me to do about that? He said he put everything on it.» I just told him to forget it and hung up. NEVER WILL ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. I want my 13.00 back! Waste of my money.

Great prices, awesome menu, quick delivery & the best customer service. I wouldn’t have known this place existed if but wasn’t for Unilocal.I will be ordering again soon & I love that they use the Square app for payment.

Ok, let’s get the «bad» out of the way: delivery takes forever — usually 45 minutes to an hour. However, the food still arrives tasting fresh. So if you know that and plan accordingly, it’s really not an issue. Whenever I’ve picked up, my order has been ready when I get there.
Everything else? Pretty awesome. The pizzas are huge — rectangular and take up the whole box. The crust is doughy and buttery. There’s a lot of options this way, so when you’re feeding a crowd, there’s something for everyone — some crispier cheese on the edges, super melty in the middle. We’ve had subs, fries, onion rings, salads, burgers, brownies, calzones, chicken tenders, etc. Again, when ordering for a crowd, it’s great to have so many options for people to pick from. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced.

Upon reading a lot of good recommendations for 2 Tomatoes, my wife and I decided to try it today. For delivery we ordered a large bacon pizza well done, and the medium boneless chicken tenders. The pizza is Sicilian style and a large could easily feed a family of four or more. There wasn’t that much bacon on it and it was kind of soft in the middle even though it was well done.
The chicken was nothing special and not very crispy. However it had a decent kick to it. I might give this place another try for sandwiches, but I won’t be in a big hurry to go back. Nino’s is better in my opinion.

Onion rings good. Pizza has not been good the last 2 times. I have to go somewhere else. It’s been burnt and no toppings. There are a lot of pizza joints around. It took over an hour to deliver last time and it was a weekday after dinner time. Just being honest

Best pizza delivery ever! The best us the bbq chicken pizza –I also get pineapple added. Have yet to gave anything bad from here. Love the boneless wings snd the subs are great too! I order from here via Grubhub.

I ordered thru eat24. Order was on time and delivery person was very friendly and courteous.
I am giving 5 stars for a great burger and was a delivery, but pizza crust and delivery packaging needs work. Would be 3 stars without a really great burger.
«All burgers are 100% grass-​fed Hereford beef patties from Pat’s Pastured of East Greenwich, cooked to order!.» You can really tell. Burger was slightly over medium rare as ordered but was plenty juicy and with so much flavor I really didn’t mind. The texture and flavors really stand out and it is quit obvious this is a special burger. I am familiar with Pat’s Pastured and now I will also try them. Kudos to 2 Tomatoes and Pat’s, great job. The bacon was a decent portion. Along with the cheese added some great flavors.
The fries were definitively fresh cut and were a nicely seasoned. Just to soft for me. I did enjoy them.
The pizza was good. The sauce was nicely seasoned. 2 Tomatoes was not shy on the cheese. It formed a great tasty crust. Nicely browned cheese and plenty of flavor really makes this a great tasting pizza.
This is why I am so disappointed, the bottom crust was on the edge of soggy. It was not firm and able to support a slice to eat. Even corners flopped over. If 2 Tomatoes can improve on bottom crust this would be a 6 star order. It was much better left over and reheated in toaster oven. That says a lot about the great tastes and how soft bottom crust was.
Message to all food service business. Hot food creates steam. Steam not vented makes food soggy, especially fried and baked foods. Figure out how to vent or don’t seal containers.
Overall all I can’t wait to get another burger, just a great take out order. I will try pizza again, just not right away. I think I will try hot sandwich next.
I would not hesitate to give 2 Tomatoes a try. They did a great job with some tasty take out.

We have ordered from 2 tomatoes a few times now and we really love the food! Everything is fresh and delicious. Pizza is Sicilian style so if you are looking for thin crust you will be disappointed. But if you like a thick dough, I definitely recommend it!
Delivery has always been fast and friendly, everything comes packed with care, unlike most places that just throw the food in styrofoam and call it a day. 2 tomatoes uses higher quality take out containers and even individually stamps their logo on the paper bags. You can tell they actually care about the quality of the customer experience.

I would have never known about this place if it wasn’t for GrubHub. I work for a CPA firm relatively close to this place and during tax season (as I’m writing this) I don’t exactly get to take lunch at my designated time. I was so busy with work that I couldn’t really go out for lunch and I wanted something different from the normal places I ordered from. I placed my order online through GrubHub at about 3:17 and they gave me an ETA of 4:15 — 4:25pm. At first I was like WTF, this place is practically right around the corner but then I got an updated email for a 3:55 — 4:05 ETA. The delivery guy got to my office closer to 3:50 which is great because that seems like a more reasonable time and I was freakin’ hungry. What idot waits ’til 3pm to eat lunch?!
I got the Steak and cheese with a side order of fries. The fries are the
. They’re just like how my mom used to make them but slightly different (secret ingredient). The steak and cheese was piping hot and I had to let it cool down a bit before I could chow down. It was alright but note taken, get extra cheese next time.
All in all, I’ll be back

What I ordered:
Cheese pizza-​the cheese looked a little burnt, but it tasted delicious. Crust was yummy and I enjoyed the crispy pieces of cheese along the edges.
Fries-​really good. They clearly use fresh potatoes. They had the perfect amount of seasoning. If you’ve had 5 Guys fries, they’re very similar.
Cookies-​they gave me 3 chocolate chip instead of the 2 peanut butter and 1 chocolate chip I ordered, but they tasted good, so I’m not too upset.
Delivery:
Driver was here exactly when he was supposed to be. Got here on the early side of the expected delivery time frame given by GrubHub. He was also very pleasant.

This review will be short, sweet and to the point… Just like my trips to 2 Tomatoes! They have amazing subs, beyond friendly service, it’s fresh and fast. What more do you need? We call for take out and/​or delivery pretty regularly… and everything has been good. We’ve tried a variety of subs, pizza and even their homemade apple pie, which was a hit at Thanksgiving. Had it not been in the box, I could have even passed it off as my own.

Got delivery — just a medium Italian grinder which was great! There was no delivery charges or minimum. The grinder itself was really good. The online ordering lets you add whatever toppings you want. Overall quality was B. I will definitely order from there again.

I heard this place was pretty decent and a friend told me about a groupon they had out so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and some buffalo wings. While ordering over the phone I was asked if I wanted stems and pieces or fresh mushrooms which I thought was baffling. Is there a person who would choose canned over fresh? I don’t think so. I do agree with the other reviewer that complained about canned mushrooms. Big big turn off. So the pizza arrived and I thought it looked very nicely made. I tried my first bite expecting by the look of the pizza for it to have a very crispy crust, but it was rather soggy. Upon further inspection halfway through the piece I realized some of the pizza dough wasn’t cooked. The flavor was really nice, but the consistency wasn’t very good. The wings were standard and pretty decent, the blue cheese with it may have out shined the wings. It was really delicious.
The second time I ordered from them I tried a pepperoni and mushroom pizza again. When I opened the box I realized they hadn’t asked me the mushroom question on the phone and I had received the dreaded canned mushrooms. The pizza also looked like it was cut by an 8 year old, all the slices were completely different sizes. The dough was a lot thinner though, and all seemed to be cooked through. I could only have a piece though, I let my boyfriend eat the rest. Call me a mushroom diva if you will, couldn’t get past the canned mushrooms.
So I have one groupon left, maybe the third time is the charm? So far I would say they are pretty decent, a little inconsistent. Delivery did take over an hour as well.
