Lovely office in a lovely area with terrible management. I went here based on the recommendation of a former co-worker of mine. She actually had appointments with Dr. Sciarillo, so maybe that moved at a different pace from this, but based on her recommendation, I made an appointment with Dr. Decker who is also in this practice. My massage therapist assured me that Dr. Decker is a very good chiropractor and he may be, but I never got to see the guy because I had an appointment for 6:45 p.m. and wasn’t even taken to the exam room until 7:45 p.m. After waiting there for ten minutes, I finally went out to the reception desk and said, «I’m sorry, but I have dinner reservations, and I need to get ready. I didn’t expect to spend an hour waiting when I had an appointment.» So when I asked about rescheduling, everything they had was smack dab in the middle of the day. Finally, I asked, «Well, is he going to be on time if I come in the middle of the day?» and the receptionist said, «Well, no, probably not.» So I told her that, unfortunately, I don’t think it’s right to keep my own patients waiting for an hour past the time I’m supposed to see them, so I’ll need to see another chiropractor. This is THE most unprofessional environment I’ve ever been in and I can’t believe they can stay in business with this kind of attitude. I don’t consider myself the most timely person out there, but keeping someone waiting for an hour past the time they were supposed to come see you is ridiculous, and having that be part of the way you normally do things is just insane. So that’s basically 90 minutes of my life I’m never going to get back. Thanks, guys. It was really awesome hearing about how chunky girls can’t get dates with decent guys for an hour while my stomach was growling.
