Composite from many visits over the years: Craft items abound. Makes one dizzy trying to sort through the different isles but if one needs a small«gizmo» for a home project, you can often find it here, to include small woodworking items. Christmas time was the last visit and oh boy, they needed a lot more staff. Folk were overloaded; check out lines were 15 deep when I went there. That said, when I’ve asked floor staff for help they have always been generous and even walk me back to the item. Framing shop — didn’t use them as I am fixed on Michael’s in Monaco for this type of work. f8 and be there.

I have a love and hate relationship with this place. I love that they have a lot of crafty things I need for projects/hobbies. Seems to have more selection for yarn and of course fabric and sewing supplies than any stores nearby. I also love the seasonal décor they have, but I think they cost more than other places. I hate that a lot of items are not marked whether they are on sale or not. Call me frugal but if I can only use my 50% coupon on regular priced items, I really would rather that no items are on sale. I haven’t found a price checker, so when you get to the register is when you find out if things are on sale. Surprise! I feel like the coupons are a lure for me and it has worked every time. Ugh! There is always a line at least when I’m there, and always some type of altercation between a cashier and a customer. I wonder if it’s about coupons. Lol. I don’t know how their phone app is now, but I deleted it because it was useless to me. I really just wanted to see their weekly ads and coupons like what the other craft store’s app has. They didn’t have it then, so I just wait for coupons in the mail. I know you can get it by email and text too. Regardless of service or prices and all mentioned, I come back because I don’t have much of a choice. I wish things get better.

Like the other reviewer(Rikki M.) mentioned, customer service is pretty dismal in this store. The first time I shopped here, a cashier was loudly arguing with a woman trying to return a sewing machine. I worked in retail for several years and definitely understand that there are tough customers… However, kindness can help a lot of tough situations, which this associate could learn. Outside of customer service, this store is like your typical Jo-Ann’s, carrying an array of fabrics along with flowers, baking items, and art supplies. If you’re like me and not great at keeping track of coupons, make sure to download the Jo-Ann’s app to have access to plenty of great, current coupons.

This is a nice sized craft store that features fabric, custom framing, and they even have classes for sewing and other crafts. I come here only when I can’t find the craft item in need at Wal Mart. Jo Ann runs about a dollar or two more for every day craft items. Fabric glue: 5.49. The same size at Wal Mart is 2.50. Talk about a mark up. This store is neatly organized. However, the management here needs help. I happened to pick up some fabric without a price tag and after the poor cashier asked for help 10 times on her headset, a manager named Carrie came to the register to help. After she talked down to the employee for five minutes and sighed, yawned, and rolled her eyes I realized this store was no longer the place for me to shop. I do not care if you are seasonal help, regular help, a supervisor or a manager: You do not talk down to your peers in front of customers. After Carrie walked away my cashier apologized for her manager and said she was mean because it was busy. I smell a career change here!!! Needless to say I will not be shopping here anymore. There are other craft stores in the area that have good customer service.
