Split Rail Bar-B-Que & Steak House

Possibly the worst BBQ & fries I have eaten. My entire plate was triple coated with grease. The fries held so much grease the were limp. I’m not exaggerating either. The ribs were so tough my jaw literally grew tired of chewing and I stopped eating them.
One positive the waitress that brought her small child to work was very nice

Drove in from Tulsa to try the place during lunch time and it was nearly empty. The food was a major disappointment. Although the server said ribs were the specialty, they came out tough and very dry; the pulled pork was similar. However, the sides were pretty good: okra, corn fritters, cheese fries, green beans.
The atmosphere is comfortable and clean and service is friendly, but based on the BBQ it gets 2 stars. There are not many places around this location so perhaps it’s better than the alternative, so if you come for the bar or karaōke just stick to sides and drinks.

We love the owners and the way they keep up this awesome place! Their food is oh so tasty and our favorite BBQ place around!

The food was really good for the price. Good choices, good sauces, good sides. My husband loved the corn fritters. We went on a Tuesday and it was dead; I think there was one other table, and they left a few times to go outside and smoke. The environment was a good ol’ bar-​b-​que ranch theme. Our only big complaint was the child that was there. Our waitress/​hostess (maybe owner, who knows) had her little girl there who wanted to and did help her serve.
This put us in an awkward position as customers because we don’t want to be mean to the child, but she served our drinks in such a way that if felt lacking in hygiene, and was so awkward carrying them that we felt we should offer to help. When the drinks got there we then felt obligated to be super enthusiastic about the drinks that we were by then eyeing rather suspiciously.
All in all, good food, and the service was good when it felt clean.
