Walmart

Terrible customer service. Couldn’t find anyone in the store to help. I called the store from inside the store and asked for someone to come to my location. Still no help. Went to the customer service area asked for a manager. They called for a manager still no one came. At least 20 minutes waiting there when they called over the loudspeaker for a manager. Finally one came. Claimed that they were never contacted.
If you need help, Covington Walmart is not the place to go. Went to Auburn Walmart and noticed that one of the storage totes was damaged when I was going to buy it. They brought it up to me so I didn’t have to go get it. They went above and beyond but Covington can’t be bothered with customers asking for help.

This place is sooooo slow. Whether you are checking out or returning something, plan on being here a long time. They do not have enough employees working so there is usually one person working returns and a couple working checkout. Just the other day when I walked in there were about 10 people in each line. But I guess you come here for the prices, not the service…

I shop here once every three or four weeks, just to get cheap basic needs. Like today, I came in for a document frame that’s 8.5″ x 11″. Something I do not want to go to Aaron Brothers where they would charge me an arm and a leg for. Here at Walmart, I got a metal frame for $ 3.32! What a freaken deal!
Bananas are only $ 0.25 each, can’t beat that! I was also in search for Better Oats instant steel cut oats. But they do not carry this particular item! Bummer! Target in Kent does!!! Shhhh!
My cashier was very nice and chatty, she has missing teeth and talks like a crack addict. She made a comment on how cute my kids are, saying my daughter looks cuter than Dora the explorer! And my son has big eyes! Ummmmmm…
The parking lot can be sketchy though. Got weird people chillin’ outside their cars. And people whippin’ thru like it’s a race track. SMH!
I still haven’t found a better Walmart til this day, but this one will suffice, since it’s so close to the house.

Slooooow customer service desk. The girl chewing gum outside of her mouth is a nice touch.

After going today, I refused to come back to this store. The Asian cashier (wavy shoulder length hair – you also can’t forget her pissed off/​annoyed look on her face) forgot to give an extra bag of my items. I called customer service to see if the cashier gave it to them. But… the cache here is THERE IS NO customer service at this store. No return phone calls to messages or no one bothers to pick up the phone. I did check in person, but was given a dumbfounded look by the ladies behind the customer service counter.
I do hope they donated my items to charity… but I will not be surprise if they restock for their own profit or the cashier kept my items for herself.

Before I drove to this store I checked online for product availability which the website said was in stock, of course when I got to the store I couldn’t find what I was looking for (weight bench) I tracked down an associate to help he says «we don’t carry that item» when I verified they «did» I was told this store will no longer carry exercise equipment and I should check their other stores, thankful for Amazon

Good luck to anyone trying to get Jewlery. Another customer and I have been waiting over 30 minutes for an employee to show up, we both have walked to nearby employees in other departments and have been told «someone will be there soon.» Still here waiting, still nobody has helped. Recommend cross training employees to be able to work other departments.

This is the worst Wal-​mart I have ever been to. Being from Texas Wal-​mart is the one to beat but when I came here I was in for a surprise! I have complained for almost 3 years about the lack of items. They will sell out of something and it will be weeks before they will replace it. The can foods are always beat to hell and dented. The staff, if you find someone, is rude and doesn’t know nothing. I can think of like three people there that are nice and know what they are talking about. Ashley, a sup is one of them.
The customer service desk acts like they are the makers of what is being returned and are offended you are returning something. They don’t have enough staff there and most of the time there is one girl for like 10 people waiting. This place needs a major redo or just shut down. They hire people who don’t know jack about customer service. Its 5 minutes away from my house, but sometimes I rather just drive to Auburn.

Clean and some good employees. Other than that its a walmart… ya know?
Not sure what else to say, it wants me to write more for it to count. Defiantly shop here.

The so call staff working there rudely told me not to open up the box. I explained that I have to check the merchandise before to make sure everything is in this clearance area. He asked me to leave the store. The people who work in this Walmart are very lazy, and don’t want to do anything and get paid.

I have been waiting for over 10 minutes now for my site to store order. No one is at the desk, a couple associates walked by and asked if I needed help. They had to page people since they could not help. Still sitting here with no one around and here I thought doing site to store would be easier. A CSR came over finally, named Judy. She didn’t even say Hi, or I’m sorry you’ve been waiting so long. It was a struggle for her just to say, have a good day.
Done with online orders! But I am impressed on how many associates came by and asked if I’ve been helped.

I gave this Wall Mart a 5 star review because for a Walmart they have exceptional service. I recently started going here when I moved to Kent and it’s amazing threw difference between here and the last one I went to. Every person that works there us friendly and actually seem to know where things are which should be expected but something that is impressive for a Walmart.

I ordered online for pickup at the Covington Store. (I live midway between the Renton and Covington stores). Stove itself is in an odd location and had problems getting to it from the main street. Inside was typical Walmart «mess».
The Pickup counter was «unmanned» and there was a «CALL» device that was inoperative. «Associates» walking around were helpful in trying to get someone to help me, but no help arrived. I eventually called the store on my iPhone to tell them that I was at the Pickup counter to pick an online purchase.
It took a good 15 – 20 minutes the person showed up. I mistakenly thought that purchasing an item online and doing a Store Pickup would be the fastest and least painless option (as opposed to getting it delivered by UPS and box on the front door for hours situation).
There is something wrong with the Walmart business model, and I typically hate to go to their stores where items are usually piled up in a big mess, with shelves either empty or full of misplaced objects.
I guess you get what you pay for, but price may be competitive with some other box stores, but not others.
Now, the «associates» were friendly but could not reallyl help me with what I needed.
So I rate the associates «highly» but management to be ZERO. The one star is thanks to the associates bringing it higher than ZERO (plus Unilocal does not let you ZERO a review).

I frequent this Walmart on occasion and it is usually clean and tidy. My only negative comments about this place are that they often are out of stock on items and it takes them forever to get it back in stock (or unload it from the back), they usually have one or two self checkout stands that are inoperative or take cash only, and the customer service center for returns is understaffed (there needs to be more than one employee working it, especially during peak hours). All in all, this place is never too crowded and you can generally get in and out within a reasonable amount of time.

This is easily the nicest Walmart I’ve ever been to– until I moved to the Covington area I avoided Walmart. Have you been to the Renton Walmart? It’s basically a war zone.
I can stop at this walmart on a saturday afternoon and it’s calm and clean– seriously. Target in Kent is too far for me and this is a good option when I want to stop by. It’s not a super store so it’s not super duper big but they have what is needed.
If all Walmarts were this nice, the world would be totally different.

Cleanest one I have been to yet!

Most of the Walmart’s I’ve been in I would not go back to by choice because they are usually very dirty and the customers are very rude and downright strange. But I feel comfortable shopping here and over the years really don’t feel like it has gone downhill. It is my go to place when I’m needing to shop for a variety of things. And as for returns, I’ve never had an issue with them. I bought an outfit for Halloween and tried it on and it was too small. I brought it to returns thinking they would not allow me to do so, but they were so accomodating and there were no problems. Same with when I was trying to make an exchange for a toy that I didn’t have a reciept for but it was no problem, they exchanged it for the same toy.

Horrible service at register guy was rude, packed my stuff like it was junk and rude! I packed most of my stuff after 2 bags of pure chaos! Grrr
I bought 3 water fountains that I had to take back because one didn’t work at all and the other 2, well their motor was loud as hell!
They need better customer service and employee’s who have better personalities. I was seriously pissed when I left! I also asked him to bag my silk flowers (the tops of them) and he never did and I didn’t notice as he placed them toward the end of the cart. I asked for them to be be bagged because it was pouring out! By the time I got to my car I was soaked and so was all my new $ 8.00 a piece silk flowers! ANGRY OH HELL YES!

Hey — It’s a Walmart!
No surprises here — It’s not Nordstroms, and not REI. It’s a typical Walmart, and the people there are normal people working for a living. If you are disspointed with anything less than Nordstroms or Macys, then go to those places instead.
They have a good stock of things you might find at Fred-​Meyer or similar places, and the prices are a little better.
I will never know the real story behind how the got a road to go right through their parking lot — which has to bring traffic right into the store. It smacks of politics and payoffs, but for now, all of us who want to drive that road have to drive through the darn parking lot. This is not relevant to the quality of the store, but it is amazing that the Covington city planners are such schmucks that they think this is OK.
Anyway, I find the sales people are nice if you are nice to them. No big experts on things, just regular people. The prices make this place my first stop for the stuff they carry. This is a decent Walmart.

Too far from my house. I’ll only go here if I’m in the area for something else, which is almost never. Probably just go to Target or the Wal-​Mart in Renton.
What more can I say… Wal-​Mart beats most prices, but is it really worth shopping there if you have to deal with so many other things just to get the good price?
