I love vivid tan, they are like family! I have been coming here since they first open, they have up to date beds and excellent choice of lotions! Also the employees are very helpful and will go above and beyond to get your lotion if it’s not in stock! Vivid tan has excellent deals on tanning packages no matter your price range. If you haven’t tried vivid tan, stop in and you will enjoy the outcome!

Best Tanning Experience Ever! I have been looking for a great place to tan in NKY. I am so glad that i found this place with three locations. The staff was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about tanning in general and the best lotions to use for the kind of tan I was looking to get. I was absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good tanning salon. It is kind of pricey, but you absolutely get what you pay for!

Well, we went to the location in Taylor Mill, Ky., and it seemed very clean and the employees were nearly always very nice and friendly. The thing that made us decide to go elsewhere when we were ready to consider another membership term was this; the employees did not seem to know what was going on, in terms of tracking our visits, and were not on the same page as far as promos go.
I was told by one employee that I had 1 minute left, when I knew I had more… the next time I went, I was told I had 15 min left. We bought a package which included 7 tans and a free collagen treatment or spray tan, and when we did so, told the employee we would be out of town for 2 wks starting a few days after signing up, so I would not be able to complete the tans or the bonus treatment till I returned from vacation, and was told that it was no problem at all. When I came back from vacation I was told that I was not entitled to the rest of the tans, or the special bonus because more than a week had passed, and they were supposed to be used in one week. We asked specifically about this when we purchased, and were told that it was no problem. WRONG! They said I had to use all 7 tans and the treatment right away within the week (they had previously told us it is bad to tan without a day in between, and to only tan every other day, tops, when we first came in!)
This whole thing was so frustrating, we decided not to go back to Vivid Tan since there were so much competition to choose from.
Oh! There are NO MIRRORS in the tanning rooms…

I try to go tanning every few weeks so that I don’t turn into the Irish ghost I really am, and this was the closest one to my place in Covington so I decided to check it out.
It was in the «scary» part of Covington that I try not to venture into that often, so I wasn’t sure what I would find. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked inside. It was clean, modern, and had all the beds that I was familiar with from Cincinnati Tan.
I’ve tanned there a few times now, and the people who work there are great. They always offer specials, free tans, cheap lotions, etc. The beds are clean and work well. It is a small space with only a few beds, but I usually don’t have to wait.
Two complaints: 1) The prices aren’t any higher than other tanning spots, but they aren’t any lower either. For the awful location and the fact that it’s much smaller than most, I would think they would offer a little bit more of a deal. 2) No sunless tanning. They do have that option at their Independence location, but not in Covington. I try not to use regular tanning beds too often, and a spray is a good option when you need quick color without having to tan continuously.

Vivid Tan is one of the best salon I have ever tanned at and I have been to several. The tanning consultants actually know about the beds they cater and can determine what type of lotion and tanning you should use, so go ahead and drill them!
The owner is very passionate about this business and serves top notch lotions such as designer skin and australian gold. The 5 levels of beds are current state of the arts and the bulbs are changed regularly so you get your money’s worth.
This place is the end to going into a salon and having to find out all the details for yourself. Here, they will give you a tour, tell you all about all of the lotions and beds. All the good prices will be explained to you in full detail. And best of all they will make you feel like family where you can comfortably and confidently walk in and out knowing that you are getting the best possible service.
