Best coffee I’ve tasted. Friendly atmosphere. Great service. Close to other city highlights

Not sure what the other people reviewing this bookstore encountered, but my experience left a lot to be desired. No one spoke to me at the store. I asked a question. The person behind the counter answered by stating something ambiguous like it’s back there without even looking up at me. I am not sure where there was. I just left. It’s nothing special over other stores that I’ve patronized. I won’t be back. I can get better service from .

Terrific coffee at a reasonable price with great service. You really can’t ask for more! Haven’t tried any of the pastries or food, but the coffee is more than enough to warrant 5 stars.

If they offered more food options, I would definitely give them a 5 star. The workers are always extremely nice and chatty while you wait for your drink(s). They’ve recently started offering a couple more food options, which is great, but it is extremely limited and lacks anything gluten free or vegetarian. If you enjoy reading, I highly recommend making a day of Roebling Point Café. There are multiple rooms with books floor to ceiling. The atmosphere is absolutely PERFECT for a day of working or reading. On top of an amazing atmosphere, the coffee is good. If you’re a latte/cappiccino fan, it isn’t the best I’ve had, though. Note: the restroom is also kind of lacking.

Stopped in here today because I heard they may have the best Hot Chocolate… and they do! I ordered a small Hot Cocoa with whole milk, and it just tastes so, so good. The staff is very nice, as are the customers! It takes awhile to get a drink made because they aren’t spit out from a machine. They are hand-made. So that gave the folks in line time to get to know each other. I actually got a business card from the lady in front of me so I could send her some information for an event she’s working on. And the gentleman in front of me gave an extra pastry to the lady behind him. It was such a lovefest and it made my day. But go here for the best Hot Chocolate in the city!

This Coffee Shop & Book Store is in a really great location in Covington. One of my favorite neighborhoods, next to my favorite bridge.(Check The Name.) I’ve been here a couple times now, the same guy has been working both times I’ve been in. I always ask for a blended frappé style drink, which they have listed on their board/menu as being different than just an ice coffee. Which it should be, it’s not the same thing. However, the first time this guy and another guy asked me if I knew how to make it. Which I tried to help them because I use to work at a coffee shop, but they still didn’t make it right. The second time I asked for the same thing once again and the guy made it wrong. He made it so wrong that I couldn’t even drink it. Basically, what he did both times was just put ice in a blender and mix it around with the syrup and espresso/toddy whatever they use. Which isn’t even an «Iced Coffee» So I don’t know. I’m puzzled still. If you don’t have the freezing mixture to make a blended drink, don’t have it on your board/menu. Besides the coffee, though, they have a great selection of books you can buy. I’m not positive, but I think it’s a mixture of new and used books. Either way, they have a great selection. Not the cheapest prices for books but not the most expensive. Which is to be expected from a small locally owned coffee shop and bookstore. The shop itself is small and cozy, there are chairs for you to sit in and read a book and drink your coffee. I enjoy the atmosphere here. I’ll go back sometime in the future and maybe someone different will be working who knows what they are doing, and maybe I’ll get good coffee and be able to update this review. For now, they are just A-OK.

What a terrific cozy little spot! Found a table in a back room filled with books to work for 3 hours a few mornings ago. Great space for being productive. They have minimal food, but good coffee and lots of options for seating, from tables and chairs to plush couches and coffee tables. Inspiring and creative space to get good work done!

Stopped in late on Saturday afternoon on a mission for iced coffee. They were open for about another hour so their cold brew was almost out, but the barista was sure to make me a drink and wanted to make sure it was cold enough, tasted good since she used warm coffee. I really appreciated that, because she didn’t have to tell me at all. They had a good selection of coffees, treats and items to choose from. I didn’t get a chance to browse the book selection because I was in a hurry but I will definitely be back.

We stopped in here on a photo walk around town. I love the ambiance– they have a lot of good books there, both used and new, I believe. The coffee was decent. It was sort of confusing because we ordered Americanos and the menu made it seem like there was only one size, but the barista asked me if I wanted a small or large. It was the same price, so I think he just put more water in it which I didn’t like. I’m not sure if there’s anywhere to sit down in here– I know there is a second room off of the small ordering area but I can’t imagine there’s a table in there. So it might be a shop, grab and go kind of place. Ok coffee, but great book selection. Both local and national titles.

Loved the black tea the barista made with loose tea leaves… Chai was amazing as well… Found a great local hiking trail book also! Nice find! Had not been to this shop before today… Found it on Unilocal, and am glad!

Oh am I happy that I came here! This place is beautiful! It’s filled with books and has such a calm atmosphere. There is literally something for everyone hear, even if it takes some searching to find it! The coffee was a bit over priced if I do say so. BUT, if I’m just paying to hangout here, I’m fine with that!

Very very friendly staff with great coffee and a cozy bookstore of its own, what more can you ask for? Great location by the Roebling bridge!

Love! I feel terrible that I haven’t been to Roebling sooner, as someone who works in Covington. It’s in a townhouse in the little strip of buildings across from Keystones and is just adorable. They have a nice selection of coffee and tea drinks, plus they might be the only(local) coffee shop open after 2 or 3 pm in Covington! It’s very coz, y, with a few rooms where you can hang out on a couch or sit at a table and read a book or meet with a friend. What really sealed the deal of love for me was the book collection: I immediately felt a connection because on every shelf I saw an author or books that I either love or want to read. It must be fate! I’m planning on going back soon to do some book shopping.

RoPoBoCo, as it’s come to be known by folks who truly don’t have a breath to spare, is a favorite of mine. I spend nowhere near as much time there as I’d like, but I love every minute. Richard, the owner, recently renovated the space so the coffee bar is the first thing you see when you walk in. The interior is beautifully done and quite cozy. Hoping to spend a little more time there this fall and winter. One of the greatest best-kept secrets on this side of the river.

I love coming across small«mom and pop shops» with loads to offer. They’re cozy, often less crowded, and just have that down-to-earth feel that brings warmth to the center of my chest: this place doesn’t disappoint. You walk in and see: the books propped up on display, some plush chairs, a table, and some snazzy cool decorIf you keep walking straight, you’ll find the coffee shop portion of the bookstore(but I’m sure your nose will be enough to lead you there, hehe). The setup is definitely unique in itself: there are a few connecting rooms that you can walk around to sift through books, and the middle room has a comfy couch – which is GREAT because I feel very much at home that way! All the workers are pretty friendly, and some even display their own art on the chalkboard or on the walls. Swanky for sure. Because it is a smaller store, they don’t have the largest selection of books, but hey, that drawback is pretty expected, and I’m personally not especially bothered by it. Free wifi. BOOKS. Coffee. Pastries. Ambience. Character. Great staff. OHWAIT: it is also CANINEFRIENDLY!!! Bring your pups! Bring the neighbor’s dogs! Haha! Overall, this place is excellent. I really like it, and it is definitely worth checking out!

Continuing my Cincy coffee tour, I decided to drop in to Roebling today. It has coffee, it has books… what more could one need? It’s actually located in Covington, just across the river from Cincy and just a bit east of the Roebling Bridge. It’s a smaller, more specialty bookstore, with several rooms in which to peruse the books, or sit at a table or in a large chair and enjoy their free wifi. Oh yeah, and have some java too. I ordered a large latte(2 shots) and a cinnamon roll, which was made by a local baker across the river.(There’s not much in the way of eats, though their FB says they are looking to provide more). Both were very good. The latte, served in a go cup, was good but not spectacular in my opinion(Sidewinder does better and likely is my fav right now…), but better that Sbux — well, if you want a great cup of coffee, you won’t necessarily find it at Sbux anyway. They have a small«café» area in which they prepare your drinks and, considering the size of it, they can prepare a fair number of different drinks. The cinnamon roll was very good, very fresh and sweet but not overly so and light and tasty. The ambiance is what makes it. If you like books and coffee together, without liking the huge BN bookstores and such, this is the place. Very cozy, somewhat intimate with the little rooms you can hang out in, and essentially quiet, they do also appear to have an open policy of allowing other food inside, as a group of people are busy chowing on Chipotle and chatting away. Definitely a cooler place to hang out at… All in all, I gave Roebling a 4-star because: coffee is very good but not the best I’ve had(and there are differences in something as basic as a latte.), the bookstore and it’s coziness is very kewl, and the location seems in an awesome place, just off the river(too cold to check out the neighborhood.). And, from the little I saw, I do like the clientele — young and vibrant, «real.» As was the guy who made my drink… ;-) So yes, I would recommend Roebling for those who like the coffee-bookstore, and yes, I would visit again. So check it out!

This is such a cute lil place, quaint, quirky, and comfy. This was my first time to visit here, I came with my friend who is visiting from Canada, and we met someone here from our mutual online social community. The manager was kind enough to let us hang out and talk while she cleaned after the shop closed. Upon checking-in on I got a 10% first-timers coupon which they let my friend use to buy some books. I love all the local art and cool supply of books and places to read or sit around a table to talk. Definitely worth coming here again!

What a pleasant little bookstore! I am not surprised that this place does not have more reviews because it seems to be fairly hidden from the street if you were just driving by. Nestled in the beautiful historic part of Covington this a perfect place to check out if you are out for a stroll. I came in here to get a book on Cincinnati and was so surprised to find that this is actually a publishing house too, so they have a lot of different books that you normally wouldn’t find anywhere else. I found it to be a completely different feel than a a huge chain bookstore. The girl who was helping me, Kara, was so passionate and it was a nice change of pace. The store itself if quaint and homey. I actually thought I was in the wrong place because it felt more like a house. But again it was a nice change a pace. You aren’t immediately overwhelmed. The store is clean, neat and well organized. Some great finds I had were great Ohio family adventure books, a few books on the Cincinnati Reds and their amazing history, and even a haunted Ohio book! Great little bookstore worth checking out!
