This was the first time eating at Phở V & V. Ordered the Shaken beef w/rice, grilled chicken w/rice, the PHOBEEF, the pork buns and the vietnamese fried egg rolls. Everything was delicious. The best vietnamese food on the north shore. Will definitely go back for more.

Great vietnamese restaurant. Excellent phở & banh mi. I got the combination banh mi. Fresh light crispy french bread filled with grilled pork, cucumber, carrot, cilantro and I added jalapeño to suit my taste. My wife and her coworkers loved their phở. My daughter loved her baby phở. Got grilled pork spring rolls for app and thai tea. Their smoothies and iced coffee are great too! Nice dinner and inexpensive to boot.

The best phở on the Northshore! Hands down. And V is so sweet. She always remembers that we like extra basil when we get takeout. The broth is full flavored and delicious. The wonton soup comes with all these yummy vegetables. Also the pork and shrimp spring rolls are very fresh and come with a plum sauce mixed with sriracha. We get those every time. Plus bubble tea! Love this place

Good, very quick lunch service(less than 20 minutes). The crispy freshness of all the ingredients were perfect. The lunch menu prices were very reasonable, good variety, and good sized portions.

I love phở v&v! Best Vietnamese on the Northshore! Their steamed buns and spring rolls are delicious and the phở broth is very flavorful. You get a ton of food at a very good price and the people there are friendly. The place is also clean, which is a huge plus! They leave a little to be desired on the Vietnamese iced coffee, but everything else is great!

very subpar viet fare. The place is clean and the service is good, but the food was dissatisfying. I tried their pork and shrimp spring roll, their phở with rare steak, tendon, and tripe, and their grilled pork with rice. The spring roll was as pricy as you’d expect, but in each of the two spring rolls, there was only a single half slice of shrimp! Talk about skimpy. The phở though. This is why I’m giving this place only 2 stars. The soup was ridiculously bland. No flavor, salty, savory, or sweet complexity at all. It tasted very very watered down. Not to mention how little meat there was for a 10 $ bowl. The rare meat was small 1 inch square that was not rare at all, but the tendon was very good. The grilled pork was ok, but very dry, no oil or soft tenderness, but it was only somewhat dissapointing. Overall a dissapointing experience for viet fare. But service was good like i said, and this is easily one of the cleanest phở places, so it serves its own crowd i suppose?

This place was spot on wonderful! The steamed bun pork appetizer was awesome, the combo phở was fresh and tasty, and the smoothie was ridiculously exceptional. I was expecting the bar tender to mix a few scoops of fake chemical honeydew flavoring with milk and ice; instead, I was quite surprised to see my server pull a whole melon out of the fridge. I can’t wait to try some of the other flavors next time around.

I ordered a drip coffee with condense milk, bun bo hue with extra pig hock and coagulated pork blood. My hubby ordered the small combo phở. We split an order of grilled pork and shrimp spring rolls. The spring rolls were excellent. Love the grilled pork(not like the poached version used in the other restaurants in the northeast.)… 5 stars! The combo phở broth could be hotter and we thought it was a bit on the light side for flavor… needs more fish sauce… but the noodles and meat were great… 4 stars. The bun bo hue was a bit mild in flavor and also could be spicier. More fish sauce please… 4 stars. Finally the coffee was excellent. I asked for more hot water and the waiter was very nice about it. Thank you, mister… 5 stars.

Attractive dining room. Really great banh mi and egg rolls. The phở is ok, but the broth is not as rich and satisfying as the other items on the menu. Except for that, I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for tasty Vietnamese food on the Northshore. The Vietnamese crêpe is the best I’ve ever eaten!

Been here a couple of times and I can’t get over how happy I am to have a Phở shop that is on par with what we had in Seattle. Thank you for having great Vietnamese sandwiches like I’m used to on the West coast. The Phở is great for someone like me that is looking for delicious without the loaded up MSG. If you’re picky about your Phở shops, you’ll fall in love with this one!

Finally a good Vietnamese restaurant in the North Shore! I recently got a job in Covington and was looking around for a Viet restaurant for lunch. When I first started, there was only Phở An which was not a true Viet restaurant. I’m not sure the ethnicity of the owners, but they were not Viet and it showed in their food. It’s not bad, but it was definitely off. Then around March, two«Coming Soon» signs appeared — one for Phở Saigon and one for Phở V&V. Phở Saigon opened first so I gave them a shot. Authentic Viet food, but the service was horrible and a bit overpriced(pricing is apparently normal for the North Shore. Meh. 6 bucks for a banh mi is thievery in New Orleans East). I tried Phở V&V when they finally opened. Authentic Viet food and service was great. I still find the pricing to be a bit much compared to other Viet restaurants in New Orleans East and such, but all my coworkers says that’s normal for the area. I’ve had pretty much everything on their menu. Anything with pork is on point. The meat is marinated perfectly — not too salty like other places. Their phở is delicious(I do wish they added cartilage to it, but I guess they’re catering to non-Asians who would rather not have that in their food). The bun bo hue will clear out your sinuses in a heartbeat. And their Vietnamese crêpe(banh xeo) is second only to my mom’s. They have the best banh mi on the North Shore as well. I highly suspect that their bread gets delivered fresh from Dong Phuong in the East which I love! In my opinion, all sandwiches should be made using their bread, but that’s another review entirely. I’ve been back multiple times and I will continue to do so. Pros: Fresh veggies and herbs Marinade for meats is on point Nuoc cham is made perfect Banh xeo on the North Shore! Friendly staff Clean restaurant Cons: Price, but I’m used to pricing in New Orleans East Slow service when there is a crowd

The best Vietnamese in the Northshore. Have been visited here several times since it opens. Should try Vietnamese crepes and wanton soup and poboys. Basically I love everything here. Staff/owner is very polite and attentive. The best thing is it is right here on the Northshore. So happy

2 chopsticks up for Phở V&V! Stopped by this lovely family owned establishment the other day while visiting the Northshore and left with one happy Buddha belly. They recently opened in March and I had been wanting to try it as it came highly recommended by some family friends.(Keep in mind that I am Vietnamese and as our my favorites, so my phở barometer is a little more sensitive than most ;)) I was not to be disappointed! Had some delicious pork buns to start along with some tasty avocado bubble tea. I know Phở Bo is their main attraction, but I had heard through the grapevine that the Bun Bo Hue(phở’s spicier, sassier sister) was to die for so I opted for that instead. Wish they brought me a straw to slurp down that amazing broth! Atmosphere itself was very nice, charming, and clean – not like your usual hole-in-the wall ethnic shop. Service was very friendly and prompt. Definitely recommend checking this place out! If you live in the city, it’s worth a drive across the Causeway – take my Vietnamese word for it.

We ordered the phở with rare steak. The broth was a bit bland, compared to others. I would describe it as a fresh, clean broth that needs some tlc:) The staff is friendly and service is fast.

No pâté or head cheese added to banh mi here, but that’s ok because instead there were super succulent, tender grilled meats along with fresh pickled veggies and some sort of aeoli spread that made life worth living. Only complaint? Though the baguette was good, it was definitely not ‘artisinal’ — i.e. no beautiful holes in the center and no crunchy skin. Also, too much bread for the amount of filling. I’d prefer a thinner, more sour-doughy baguette. But now I’m getting picky. The spring rolls had good pork and teenie tiny little shrimp — I would avoid the seafood and just get the meats.
