This used to be my favorite Chinese Buffet, then about three months ago the food changed. What used to be the best fried fish at a Chinese restaurant is not the same. The food was cold, the stuffed mushrooms are not the same they are horrible, they put out ranch chicken and shrimp. Never before have I seen ranch chicken in a Chinese Buffet. It was at 5:45 when I ate. I complained to the manager whom I seen before but never talked too and expressed my concerns and he confirmed there were new owners managers. I told him about dinning experience and he said it is slow time so food not as fresh. This really upset me as price just went up to dinner price and if 5:45−6 was not dinner and it was slow when is dinner. I told him that I expected fresh no matter when I came, however to raise price for dinner menu and stuff still cold was unacceptable. He agreed and told me next time I went he would not charge me. Give him another chance. So went back one more time. Same thing, the fish was dry and cold, the shrimp were cooked to rubber, I was very disappointed and sad. Then they brought us the bill and charged us full price. I have served years in customer service, this guy is non customer service oriented. I used to eat there sometimes 5 or 6 times a month. It is now time to find a new place. If anyone has suggestions please let me know.

Visited this buffet again recently. The variety and selection is good and seems to be fresh. The pans are regularly refilled. I do not eat meat, but rather the seafood(shrimp, crab legs, etc), the rices and veggies. Everything was good, and hot. The dinner buffet was reasonably priced($ 11.99) and featured the full spread. Unfortunately, the wait staff is not the friendliest, and never has been no matter how often we go there. I also wish they had some toppings for the ice cream. We’ll probably go back from time to time.

I’ve ate at countless chinese buffets. Chinese and Thai food are my favorite. For a chinese buffet on northshore look no further this one is absolutely the best. My girlfriend and i eat here at least once a week. She loves the crab legs and unlike others they actually put out fresh batches when it goes empty. Next this is the best fried catfish and shrimp you will get at buffet like this. Easily rivals some of the seafood restaurants i ate at for much less money. Be sure to try the pepper chicken, crab meat and cheese, rice, potatoes, mushrooms, and sausages with roast. Oh did i mention the bread pudding? It’s all really good. Only downside is no Mongolian grill and I wish they had steamed dumplings. Other then this my stamp of approval people. I’d like to think my stamp of approval is significant since I eat out a few times a week every week!

Food isn’t consistent. I’ve had one bland experience and another that was pretty good. What makes me not want to eat here, is the unfriendly people. I asked two people questions about items I didn’t see and got a mumbled reply from one and a rude nope from another person. Food is important BUT good service is a MUST!!!

food was bland and I couldn’t tell if I was eating coconut shrimp or chicken. sushi is made«fresh» but was mushy. our service wasn’t great either. it seemed like we were being rushed. overall not the best experience. we won’t be going back for a second visit.

Don’t do it people, sushi wasn’t bad, good variety, not my style but it looked good. I get lo mein it was mushy not much flavor, General tso’s chicken was not spicy and was chewy, fried rice was good, the dumplings were good also, anything fried wasn’t crisp. Best thing I had was the diet coke and the mint ice cream. Service was great.

We regularly visit this restaurant before catching a movie. The buffet provides chinese food, but also has local dishes like crab, crawfish and bread pudding. We love the sushi bar that has a great variety. The décor could use an update and air vents need to be cleaned as dust has accumulated and may fall down. Although not the best restaurant in town you get good food for the price you pay.

It made a turd. Seriously, it’s your standard chinese buffet with shitty sushi. When you’re looking to quickly shovel some calories into your maw, any of these places will do. Go to the closest one. Don’t make a big deal over it. Get in and get out. Spare me your rhapsodies on the subtle differences and nuance. They are all the exact same restaurant.

In my search for great buffets on the north shore, I crossed this little place. I was expecting more from the décor and the fact they have the olé crayfish, but left disappointed and couldn’t find anything really that good here. I will try it again just to double check, but I am not holding my breathe.
